Nothing
The toilet overflowed at 2am, and I had to switch rooms after the Mgr asked me to come to the front desk to get a key to a different room. This was after driving 15 hours, and I had to get up at 4 am. to go to a meeting in New Jersey. I have asked for a refund but it's fallen on deaf ears.

The location was great and the handicap parking was nice 👍🏻
They didn’t have the room described by Booking.com and we were given no choice but to upgrade the room for an additional $100 for one night because there was not a handicap room with a sofa available! Most of the other properties were sold out until they contacted me the morning before my check in. Also in the bathroom in the corner was a long hair from the previous person and was not cleaned up! Plus I think $100 incidental fee was too high and this property takes a long time to get your incidental money back to you! Last time I stayed there it took one month to get my money 💸 back!

I guess I could say the tv
After complaining about the nasty pool, I was treated really bad! The house keeper named Melena, the little old lady with the black glasses! She was very rude and nasty! She swept dirt in front of me, as I walked towards her, started vaccuming around my daughter and I, while on the computer! On the morning of our last stay, we were awakened early in by the witch Melena, tapping on our door loudly, then entering the room, claiming it was a mistake! Which was a lie, because if u thought I checked out the night before the room would have been cleaned! My daughter and I were really SAD and filled regrets, I really thought I made the right choose booking at this location! We were so MISERABLE, my whole experience at this hotel was terrible! I truly believe the witch, Melena is RACIST! Now u guys take a look at this pool, and tell me would u have stuck a toe in there! It smelled like they put 10 galloons of chlorine! Very disquisting!

I liked the hotel for being normal.
1) The bathroom tub walls were full of dust and hairs of multiple people. It was disgusting. 2) There were only ONE washer and ONE dryer for hundreds of people. If there were more, I was probably misinformed. 3) Hidden fee for parking. $5 per night. It was not told in the beginning. I want my money back. I did not leave tips for that.

Nous n’avions pas de déjeuner compris!
J’aurais aimé qu'il y ai un spa à côté de la piscine!

I liked the location of the hotel and being close to areas I needed to be. The room was fairly clean but the layout was very interesting. I would say it’s okay for the price. Just needs to be updated a little bit more. The black out curtains were really good. Also surrounding area is a little bit unusual as it is all business buildings and then a few random restaurants.
I feel like I could’ve paid less for the room or gone somewhere else and paid the same for a nicer room. Could’ve been cleaned a bit more, there was hair in/on the shower curtain which didn’t seem sanitary.

It was a short but nice stay

Staff were really friendly and seemed eager to please. A pleasant atmosphere in hallways and with our guests.
Arrived late and fellow gave us the key pass, it was numbered for a room that didn't exist, while just a typo, it wouldn't have been bad if we accidentally tried the wrong door. Also, the room was dirty, hairs on bed, shower and empty vodka shot bottle under the sofa.

Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was pleasant and professional. Balcony off the room was a nice surprise.
Hallway temperature was very cold. Breakfast choices were limited. Pool seemed dated and small. Hot water in bathroom was colder in temperature than I expected.

Location, nestled with a well lit area and surrounded by trees. Handicap parking, 2 spaces under the entrance cover. About a 7 step walk to the hotel. Large spaces within. Our suite was a very good size. The larger king pillows were great, firm but soft. Very nice, quiet room on 4th floor. Priced right.
The bathroom next to the bed held only the tub shower and toliet. However, it was very hard to close the door if you sat before closing. Very tight space. In the middle of the night, it was complicated to get awake enough to handle the lack of space. I actually fell onto the commode trying to close the door and turning my body to prepare to sit.

Since the subject line of this email asked how was my stay, I feel I must respond. I had never been to the Capital Jazz Festival, nor have I ever stayed at a Sonesta location. The jazz festival was amazing but I have to say I was somewhat disappointed with my stay at the hotel. I was told by friends that it was an excellent location and that I would love the property. Although aesthetically appealing, it seemed a bit unorganized. I booked a room with 2 beds but upon arrival was told that there were none available. So after realizing that I didn't really have a choice, my friend and I went to the room to shower and change. In the process, someone else tried to enter our room with a key. They had also been booked to room 432! I called downstairs and someone came up from the front desk. Since I was in the shower, my friend spoke with him and was given breakfast vouchers - which only covered danishes, juice, and coffee.
To make matters worst, on Monday morning before we can check out, there was NO hot water. Someone said that they saw a sign somewhere that indicated that this was happening but I don't recall seeing NOR were we ever told or given any type of warning. We were obviously not the only ones as a few people we passed in the halls and elevator asked if we knew anything about it because they didn't.
When I mentioned to the front desk at checkout he just said yes, the water was turned off. No apologies. No discount. Nothing. I was disappointed considering I had heard such great things about the property. I will definitely have to give it some serious thought before staying here again.

Breakfast was not free so we did not eat breakfast at this hotel.
There was a group of guests that had a pizza and beer party in the parking lot outside our room until 11:00. This provide some noise and music which kept us awake.

Front desk staff was friendly.
Old and smelly carpets in the hallways and rooms, extremely low ( child height) toilet seat, pull out sofa bed had no pillows, blankets or linens, no micro wave in room, small fridge was a joke. Controls allowed 2 hours on and 8 hours off did not get cold. Bottom door lock did not work.

Facility seemed adequate.
Bed was terrible. I've slept on more comfortably beds on ships in the Navy and while deployed to Afghanistan. Breakfast and parking fees.. ridiculous.

The hotel was clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. From an environmental perspective having the squirt bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and soap was a nice feature.
Breakfast was not included - having two “items” from the menu available was not aligned with what the advertisement suggested. The choices were “a pastry, a drink, or a cereal item” and rather than two per person it was two items total. Disappointing. Also did not appreciate having fees for everything - early checkin (we arrived early unexpectedly) $15; there was also a charge for requesting a high-floor in a 4 story hotel. We did not request it but were assigned one anyway. It felt these instances were just opportunities to just extract more money at each turn. In the future I will choose a hotel that may cost slightly more up front without these add-on fees that end up costing more.

The ambiance of the hotel and the hotel accommodations. Reception and leisure area are welcoming.
There was a constant machine noise that could be heard from the bathroom. I used earplugs to isolate the sound. This was on room 347, the last of the hallway, next to the stairs.
