Kitchen in the room.
Clogged toilet for over a day. At 11 am management said they would send somebody up in 20 minutes and never did, when we arrived back to the hotel at 9:50 pm the toilet was still clogged. After talking to the front desk on the phone, it was my responsibility to plunge the toilet when I did not clog it. After talking to the front desk, the plunger was delivered to a different room, I had to search around for the plunger. Then it was my responsibility to unplug it, when I didn’t clog it. A day later, the person that was supposed to originally unclog the toilet the day before finally showed up at our door when it was already fixed by us. They also gave small trash bags and we kept changing the garbage ourselves and placing it outside the door/ looking for house keeping to throw it away in their large bins They also never grabbed the dirty towels from us so they keep piling up with no place to put them. Water from tap was extremely discolored so we had to keep buying bottles. We’ve stayed at other residence inn’s before and loved it. This one was poorly managed and you could tell.

Front desk staff was friendly. Room was pretty clean. Breakfast was acceptable.
The room was pretty dated. Hole in the surface of the floor. Stains on walls. Smelled like a pet had been in there. Front desk staff announced my room number. Since I was staying alone, I would have liked her to just show it to me.

The friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever encountered! What a delight, especially now in this period of worse post-COVID service, generally.
No complaints

The location is nice. Easy to reach by car and the travel time to downtown Boston is not too bad. The Andover area is nice.
The size of the room was good.
The comfort of the bed was OK.
The bathroom was sufficiently spacious and clean.
The room was not great. It was next to the engine room. Old and very simple furniture. While the bathroom and kitchen were clean, the carpet in the living room and bedroom was not well vacuumed as you could see dog's hairs. Also on the sofa in the living room.
We had to ask twice to get the body wash and shampoo refilled. But then they forgot about the tissues. Wifi was down for two days (out of the 4 days stay).
Breakfast was not great. Very limited choice. Bananas and apples were the only options for fresh fruit. The scrambled eggs were overcooked. Orange juice from a machine, not fresh. No fresh yogurt. The cleanliness of the breakfast room is mediocre. Therefore, we decided to have breakfast somewhere else (despite breakfast being included). There are some delicious acai bowls nearby.

Good location and cozy room. Also, clean.
Sofa bed is too small.

Location, convenient, had everything I needed
Pots were dirty and breakfast was insufficient because there were a lot of people

Room was big, and comfortable for the most part
Room was stuffy and smelled like smoke when we walked in. We opened the window to air it out. In retrospect, we should have demanded to be moved to another room because we were just charged a $400 fee for "smoking damage". We NEVER smoked in the room. Frankly we didn't spend any time in the room other than to sleep and shower. The shower was disgustingly dirty too. We are fighting this $400 smoking charge, but think it is really sketchy they charged our card for that without even telling us when we could have explained that we do not smoke, and obviously it was the people before us. They probably charged them, and the people after us too. Will NOT stay here again

The suite was comfortable and spacious.
The rug was wet and stained in places. There was only 1 elevator and my elderly mom had to walk a ridiculous way to get to our room on the 3rd floor.

The staff were helpful, and the location was great.
The room was dirty-- cobwebs, food crusted on the cabinets and silverware, dirt and crumbs inside the sofa bed, etc.

The breakfast was good enough for my healthy-oriented diet. If I was a heavy or hefty eater, it may have been lacking. I do not eat red or processed meat so I didn't care about sausages or eggs, etc. Overall, everything was good enough for me to feel satisfied in the morning.
The amenities in the room could have been better. I feel there should have been complementary bottled waters. The body wash soap in the shower was empty so that was a minus. The complementary toiletries could have been better.

The beds were super comfy.
The bathroom had mold.

Sink in the kitchen was clogged , bed caused back pain and was uncomfortable
8.0
Bed was comfortable. Living room was spacious with a desk, small table and couch. Kitchen was equipped for cooking light meals.
We found a very dirty dish in the clean dishes and it looked like the closet had never been cleaned. Parking was inconvenient for loading and unloading but they did have carts available.
