Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

Good location and friendly staff. Had a good selection of breakfast items. Room was nice.

The bed was too soft for my comfort.

For the price would stay somewhere else

Convenient to where I needed to be

The thermostat didn’t work - And the water knob fell off the wall as it was running and I was in the tub !! Called maintenance- had to pack all my things and change rooms - no discount given for inconvenience. Then worst runny egg omelette the next morning.. couldn’t complain- the waitress was so kind but did say something at the desk .. nicely - about all my trouble - and they did take off the breakfast charge .

Great staff, but facilities really in need of attention to details.

The location is great! The staff was very friendly and nice, especially the night staff!!

The room needed a major upkeep. The room lacked basics: remote did not work to cut on and off tv, there was no luggage rack in room, poor lighting and no trash can in the room. The door handle to enter the room did not work most of the time because it was loose and would jam. The hallway by mid afternoon had a pungent smell that overwhelmed anyone on the hall. Others on the hall complained also about the odor and the staff did address it. The two elevators made a worrisome rumbling sound when in use. There was no bottled water in room or hand sanitizer anywhere. Just a big disappointment for the basic extra touches I expect for my hilton honors status.

Very disappointed that breakfast was not included. Ask for coffee and none brought to room as promis

When I booked room told breakfast was included. Started to eat and waitress said it would cost 15 ea. we left because we did not see anything worth 30 dollars!!

I will stay again because the location is so convenient to Duke Health System and shopping.

my first stay the coffee pot did not work, this time I brought one, my 2nd stay the tv remote needed battery's which Maintenace cheerfully replaced. The food is very high priced so we ate out and had carry out. The location is great and the rooms are nice and clean. The business center was weak with no printer or fax machine, just a walk-in closet with a chair.

The pool was closed. There was confusion over breakfast. I paid ahead of time for a breakfast. I wasn’t given a breakfast ticket at check in. We were offered some really nice “paying” breakfast options. but when I went back to the front desk and finally got the ticket thing resolved the breakfast options became very limited and the charm of the wait staff was directed to other paying breakfast people. I would rather have not paid the extra money ahead of time and just paid the morning of.

Disappointing

Beautiful place.

I searched Chapel Hill for a hotel with a pool and paid a premium to send my wife and kids to a hotel with a pool. No mention online but the pool was closed when they got there. Not happy.

Not value for money.

Chose the place becasue of location - was OK

Breakfast was below all expectations. We had breakfast included in room price but skipped it last 3 days. Coffee was not acceptable - front desk had an espresso machine where you could get 5 cc of coffee for $2, but it was frequently out of order - there was a coffee maker in the room but it was broken and could not be repaired or replaced in spite of frequent requests. And so on....

A great place to stay in the Raleigh-Durham area.

Very updated rooms and facilities. Everything was clean and well maintained. Quick response from housekeeping when we needed extra towels, etc. Fantastic location with lots to do nearby, good restaurant options, etc.

Pool was very small, even compared to other Hilton Garden Inns, Hampton Inns, etc. My seven-year-old found it lacking (and his favorite part of any trip is usually the hotel pool). Some noise from college sports teams staying at the hotel, but they were quiet after 10 pm.

Even the rooms on the backside are noisy due to outside air conditioning and cheap windows

Reception desk was friendly at a 1st glance. She was simply incompetent. We asked for a quiet room which we actually didn’t get. The receptionist actually didn’t know where any is. She said “I’m only here for three weeks and I don’t know the surroundings “. But even the manager didn’t step in.
