The location was great (but so are 90%of the hotels in Waikiki).
I NEVER write reviews but I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed after arriving to a hotel. There are far nicer places to stay for not much more. We ended up paying for day passes to other hotels so we could use their facilities.
We had to ask to switch rooms as paid for a room with a balcony and were given one with a 5ft blocked off fence, so could barely see over, let alone use the balcony.
The hotel is in desperate need of being updated. The rooms did not meet my expectations, and beyond that, the bathroom had built up dirt around the shower that’s clearly been there a long while.
The picture of the pool is very deceiving. The only bonus is it’s always empty due as nobody wants to be in it. Things like broken steps to get into the pool were never fixed, just taped up.
The internet in the hotel was very temperamental. And for a good proportion of the trip, this did not work.
I’ve never been at a hotel before that does not offer anywhere to buy any food or drinks.
This is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. It would maybe pass as 3 star at best.
I would not return.

Rooms were very large, comfortable and well presented
No tea and only creamer, why can’t real milk be supplied

Very nice everything and a pretty good location. High-end bidet toilet seats with heat.
The parking was a bit confusing as we arrived after 10:00 p.m. and their parking garage closes at 10:00 p.m. we were stuck looking for street parking or another parking garage. But in the morning we went down and got our parking garage pass and after that it was really no problem at all. The parking garage was only about a block and a half away and was pretty convenient overall.

I chose this hotel mostly because the price was reasonable, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The location is very central: we walked to many places that we wanted to go. The room and the bed were clean. The girls working at the hotel are very helpful. We borrowed towels and beach chairs which was expensive to rent at the beach.
The rooms at the street side are a bit noisy, so if you are a light sleeper, make sure you ask for the rooms on the pool side.

nice location, clean and comfortable
some of the staff members were new. We came right when a fire alarm came on. Check in took a while. The parking info was just handed to us on a sheet and we were miss directed on checking out regarding the parking key.

Location was excellent, on the main road and in walking distance to the beach as well as many stores and restaurants.
Parking was not on site, had to drop off the family and drive to the parking and walk.
What we really didn’t like about the property is that they knew the family rooms have issues with the A/C and still they sold the last family room to us at a super high mark up being it was last minute (our house was cancelled last minute). We were so tired the first night that we barely noticed. When I finally asked someone to check, we were told someone would go up (even though they knew it could not be fixed). We left for the day and came back to no response and no a/c. I called again and was asked why we didn’t mention it on the first day. They offered to comp our already discounted parking because the manager refused for us to book directly to save on the “amenity fee” (there is nothing at this property that is remotely close to what is considered a resort/amenity fee). When I asked for a late checkout we were told they could extend an hour/ an hour and a half max and started calling me every 30 mins starting at checkout time.

the rooms were nice but not super clean, found some hairs of previous guests
no place to smoke a cigarette, have to leave the property to do so, hard to find and no place to park for a taxi besides breaking the law and stopping in the street

Loves the pool. Goes to 9 feeet and usually not busy, so like a private pool.

The staff was extremely pleasant.
The room is a 2 bedroom suite however, the keycard entry only worked on one door suite A and not suite B so we were constantly interrupting the baby and couple in the other room for access to our room. This does not help with privacy. If the 2 bedroom suite had a shared living room and only one entry this would be different, but that is not the case here.
Parking can be a bit tricky, but street (metered) parking is free for overnight from 10pm to 6am and if you park around the corner at the Post Office that is the most convenient for day use and makes coming and going easy.

Good location and clean
Description for a studio queen mentions 2 queen beds, however, we were provided 2 double beds. half our party had to sleep on the floor

Room is clean. Great location.. very close to the beach and shopping area. Staff are very friendly. No daily clean up due to Covid-19 but it was okay to me. Air conditioning and hot water work fine. Good breakfast at Castros.

dirty carpets and very noisy

The hotel is located in a very good location. It is ideal for walking and shopping. The high-end stores are in front or beside the hotel and a short walk to Waikiki Beach.
For a hotel in this high- end location it should more. Bigger signage for the name of the hotel. We missed it because the name of the hotel is only near the front entrance and is not even a big sign. It is marketed as a new boutique hotel but the renovation work is half-done. For example, the doors need to be cleaned and replaced. We have to take pictures to prove that the damages to the doors are pre- existing to our visit. Laundry room should be bigger with new washers and dryers. There is only 1 small elevator and swimming pool.

All staff were very friendly and accommodating. location was right in the middle of everything. Walking distance (30min +) each way. Tons of shopping centers, restaurants, beaches and things to do (zoo, aquarium, snorkeling, boat rides). A/C in room was nice and beds we’re comfortable.
Should’ve had water and utensils in room - there were none. Also room service (cleaning etc) was only every 3 days. should at least be every other day if not every day.
