Did not have breakfast location was ok alot places around and was off the highway
What I didn't like was that I wasn't informed it was under remodeling when i had areived place looked abandoned and only one elevator worked should get some money back or something but other than that was ok

Okay
Elevator didn’t work our unit was on 5th floor, check in said they would assist us with luggage they did not! Spouse is on chemo so we had to stop for her to rest every other floor. moving us to another room on a lower floor wasn’t possible why? Room was lacking in housekeeping and disjointed in layout. Hotel was in the middle of construction which we had to walk thru to get to the stairwell, signed up with Hyatt expecting to treat ourselves to an upgrade from Hilton, it was not! Much closer in comparison to econolodge.

The hotel was undergoing remodeling so multiple amenities weren’t available. There wasn’t a hot breakfast, only a grab and go continental breakfast.
The room was very dusty. I could write my name in the dust on the lampshade! I realize they were in the middle of a remodeling, but quite a few places still looked beat up and not well maintained. When I booked there was no mention of the remodel or lack of stated amenities. When I told the front desk staff about the dust in the room, he just said “okay, I will tell the cleaning staff.” He didn’t even apologize or say anything else. Seems that more training in customer service would be valuable.
The room didn’t seem finished at all. There wasn’t a microwave and there was a vacant odd space in the room like it wasn’t completed yet.
I will not be staying at this hotel again.

It was close to I70
Was suppose to be handicap accessible yet had linoleum floors! VERY DANGEROUS for an amputee! No carpeting, no hot breakfasts, pool was closed, shower was broken, bathroom sink was broken, bed was super uncomfortable, no phone or coffee maker in room, refrigerator didn’t keep anything cold & we forgot one tooth brush and they didn’t even have that!!! HORRIBLE STAY!!

Clean. Comfortable beds.
It was under construction. That was not disclosed prior to booking. Room was spacious but empty of most comforts. Clearly waiting for the new furnishings. No hot breakfast due to remodeling. Coffee was like weak tea. Horrible.

The hotel was being renovated, our floor was almost finished.the bedding was clean and the mattresses very comfortable. It was easy to get to and quiet. The bathroom was clean though a little tight.
The furniture was beat up looking. The renovations interrupted kitchen use so there were no hot items for breakfast, which is one of the reasons we chose the hotel so that was irritating. We also chose it for the outside pool which turned out to be green and out of commission. However the charge for the room was reduced which made us feel better about having to go out for breakfast instead.

We were never notified of construction. We reached this hotel after traveling all day around midnight and was told that we were in the 6th floor with no elevators working due to construction. Attendant notified us that we could leave without being charged but it was midnight and we had traveled all day and looking forward to staying at this hotel. Worst experience we have ever had and will never recommend your hotel to anyone.
For this inconvenience we should not have been charged full price for staying there as we had to climb 6 flights of stairs to our room with heavy luggage. We are in our 70’s and my husband has a bad back and as is was midnight we had no other choices.

The staff was friendly
The pool was off limits which we expected to have some discount an was denied. The property is over grown with weeds. Nobody has mowed or trimmed for several weeks. Our first morning there was no hot breakfast because someone scheduled the food truck incorrectly. There was hot breakfast the rest of our stay, although it wasnt very good. We were told we would not b charged until we checked out. We were charged immediately after checking in. A water main burst on the property leaving us without water for most of a day.

nothing, doing remodel on the hotel but didn’t bother us.

Location, value, polite service.
Asked for north-facing room due to highway noise on the south side days before arrival.. Even at check in I was told I would be given a North room, but was given a south-facing room anyway. They had plenty of vacant rooms, so I'm not sure how multiple people I spoke with messed that up. I had to wake early next day and decided not to hassle with getting the room changed.

Didn't like highway noise or 1st floor room.

Not much options. Everythime I went it was just about empty. I had to keep asking if more was coming out.
I stayed in room 107. Lock needs to change always. I had to fight to get in my room for everytime. The refrigerator never worked. The shower head need to change, it could not move to center the water flowed from the wall. Very uncomfortable taking a shower. Hotel was full, so when you do a late check-in that's what you get I'm guessing.

It was very clean and nice.
they overbooked so we had to stay in a king room with four of us.

Our bathroom was covered in filth and the shower was full of mold. There was no water pressure and hardly any hot water to take a shower. There was even a sign at the front desk stating that they are so short on housekeepers that they only clean rooms when people check out, not any other time.
7.0
staff was good and accommodating
the booking said the room was 550 sf. it was more like 300 sf, and small for 3 adults. Some of the outlets didn’t work. rooms were supposed to be made up every day, but they were short handed, so you have to request a day in advance. Bathroom is very tiny. very little space to put clothing and suitcases.

We travel to Topeka once a year and have stayed here since 2016. We love the location, the rooms and the ease of access with a large trailer. We're glad the breakfast is back to normal.
Our room smelled like smoke, the linens were "clean" but we found several long hairs on one of the beds. The bathroom tiles were loose and there was a bunch of tile grout missing (left sharp edges to walk on) the dish or cable on the TV was very spotty and would cut out a lot. One of the elevators grinds very loudly when it goes up. The Hyatt points don't do you any good, if you can book your trip early just do it through a third party. The rate difference between the Hyatt website and a third party booking company is generally quite a bit.
