The lady in the gift shop was not very nice and it was uncomfortable being in her presence.

The property is nice. Staff is friendly
The hot tub was closed! The pool was freezing, for what it costs to be there it should be a priority to fix things so guests can use them.

I love everything about it
Leaving to go back to my house in Whitefish

This property is beautiful! from arriving at the entrance with the fireplace and friendly staff, beautiful interiors, warm welcome, luxury pool, gorgeous rooms and super comfy beds! everything is thought of here and everyone is wonderful! the spa is lovely and the grounds are beautiful.
the restaurant menu and cafe was a little basic and more like a pub menu with flat bread and burgers. I was hoping for more choice on the menu but the food was good. also there was a wedding there and they left glasses and bottles all over the place the day after that didn’t get cleaned up right away.

Everything was top notch. We have stayed at a lot of places through the years and this is one of the best.

A lovely hotel the views of the lake from the main building and bar area were spectacular. it is a very large hotel lots of rooms spread out. the rooms themselves were very large and spacious bed's comfortable all amenities included - the gas fireplace in the room is a lovely theme touch.
the meals in the restaurant and breakfast were amazing and reasonable price. we were there when they had live music on both nights that were fantastic so that was an added bonus both musician were outstanding and engaging with the audience
it was a little far from town but they do provided a shuttle service. staff could have been a little more engaging ( just abit more )

Indoor Pool area was not very clean

We loved our room! It was very spacious, quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. There were a couple cool "bar areas" in the room and a fireplace. The bathroom was very large with a separate shower and tub, and we loved how you could open the sliding "windows" to have privacy or not in the bathroom. The indoor pool and spa were so awesome with a waterfall and rocks. Very beautiful for an indoor space.
The bar and dining room are connected and there is a nice restaurant on the right side that we were not told about for dinner on Friday evening. They have a different menu and we were disappointed to find out we could have eaten there, but no one asked which dining area we preferred, so we were seated in the bar area which has a limited menu unless you actually sit at the bar- where you can order from either menu! Also, much of the outdoor area was closed due to the season and it was under construction. It would be lovely to come back when everything is open in the summer- July actually!

The decorations for Christmas were absolutely beautiful throughout the property!!!!
We can’t think of anything that we did not like

Hearing kids run down the halls after midnight yelling. Horrible food. Cars so loud in parking lot. No sleep!
The noise, the food

Loved, loved, loved this lodge! Beautiful mountain and lake views at sunset. Also loved that our room was across the street, as it was very large, reasonably priced and seemed quieter. Had pool and hot tub in our building, along with closer access to wooded walking path. Evening complimentary wine in lobby was a pleasant and welcome surprise.
Bar prices seemed a bit high. Water in room's shower cooled rather quickly and lighting in bathroom was too dim for makeup application.

The room was amazing
We arrived at 3pm, walked over to Dining Room at 3:30 and they said the Dinning Reservations were closed, and we would have to eat in the bar. I find it appaling that Dinner opens by 5pm, yet for arrivals - it is closed prior to checkin. It also happened that it was posted I believe breakfast 7-11am. Showed up at 10:45 and said breakfast was closed and preparing for lunch. Please post signs that are correct - so guests know Dinner reservations close at 3:30pm., and breakfast is served from 7-10:45 - not 11am.

location and design and facilities were great. we stayed in the Viking rooms across the street from the main lodge but there is an indoor sky bridge between locations. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Restaurant was over priced with less than quality food for the prices. Alaskan salmon is farmed salmon not wild. Water bottles in the room is extra charge.
