Great property. Great history. Dated but classy and elegant.
Elevators need better instructions about floors and what leads to where.

Rooms were nice and service was good. Fitness facility was exceptional and Blue Ridge breakfast was great.
Beds were hard and seems to have toilet plumbing issues in rooms and public restrooms.

The hotel was sold out (12/29-30) so staffing was spread rather thin at checkout and in some of the dining areas. Because of the huge crowds we used the stairs quite often to avoid the long elevator waits. The stairwells are a little shabby compared to the rest of the hotel (obviously not a big deal, but carpet is worn, musty in spots, etc). Everything else was just perfect! Our concierge sent a bottle of champagne to us when he learned it was our anniversary.
I did not see the rooms in the other areas but I do think we paid a very high price for a tiny dormer room in the main hotel. You pay for the experience of course, but this was not a room you would want to be in with two people for more than one night, in my opinion. My husband is 6’5” and the tiny bath was challenging.

The property is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views. The hotel is decorated for Christmas and is very festive. The staff are personable and friendly. We had excellent service at breakfast and dinner. The rooms are so comfortable and cozy.
I had to leave, but I will be back again. :)

We had a king size deluxe Mountain View room. It was nice but I expected it to be a bit more luxurious for the price per night. However, the view was amazing. We were able to see the sun set every evening from our sitting area. Drinks were strong (a bit too strong for me). The food at Edison was average, nothing special. Our meals at both Vue 1913 and Sunset Terrace were excellent with the exception of an add on lobster tail at the Vue that was inedible due to a strong ammonia taste. I was disappointed there was no effort on their part to make it right. I paid $79.00 to add on the tail and could not eat it. The waiters response was he was sorry to hear that. ☹️

We loved the look of the hotel especially the underground. Most of the reservationists were nice except the one I got stuck with.
What I thought was VERY misleading was to advertise the beautiful pool and then not allow guests to use it. We are avid swimmers and couldn't wait to use the pool however after arriving it was closed because it was only accessible when purchased through the spa and the spa was closed. I wasn't even allowed to take a picture of it. I also had a serious problem with one of the front desk staff. I had arranged to have Room 545 and after arriving she told me it was 546 that was active not 545. I took her word for it until I got to my room and looked at my book. I then turned around and went back to the front desk and told her it was in fact 545 that I needed. She then turned around and asked the other reservationists what room the Pink Lady was in and they all replied 545. She then acted mad and told me it was already booked. She told me 546 would have to work. I then explained to her that it was on the other side of the atrium and would she be kind enough to at least let me have one of the rooms next door. She again became frustrated and told me she thought she could let me have 543. They then sent someone up to help me move my stuff. To make matters even worse we found a pair of panties under the bed (near the edge). We told the staff about it before leaving the room.

Access to Asheville, dining on-site, relaxing on the grounds. From the Howcroft family: We love The Grove for your attention to detail, the comforts, and not having to cook a stitch while we are here! It is truly a break and a treat for us from the regular grind of life that we had been looking forward to. This trip to Asheville we celebrated our daughter Carina's 14th birthday--thank you so sweetly for the card, gourmet popcorn, and San P welcome gift for her 🤗 She was beaming! After a day at Biltmore yesterday, our stay here was the cherry on top!!! Thank you for everything from amazing views and comfort to meals prepared and served by some of the kindest people we have met so far. Brian at the front desk was a rock star and made Carina feel special too at check in
Shower pressure in Main Inn could be improved, but overall fine.

Our 2-night stay at The Omni Grove Park Inn in April 2023 was the highlight of our vacation in NC! From the moment we arrived and took in the beautiful and surrounding views, we knew we were in for a treat.
We loved everything about The Omni Grove Park Inn and would absolutely stay again! It's a magical place that caters to your every need. We especially loved the bountiful breakfast buffet and the magnificent spa experience.

The property was a work of art. great stone work and design.
The part I didn’t like about my stay, was having to pay $35.00 for over night parking. The front desk assured me I would not be charged to park. But I was. Add that on the other hidden fees, it came to $90.00 extra. I think that’s a bit much, considering the room cost. Would I stay there again? No. it’s a very pretty place. But I think this hotel is for people with a lot of money. And that’s not me!

Staff was very pleasant; Festive atmosphere; beautiful scenery
Dirty cleaning rags found in room upon check-in; Advised housekeeping and rags left there 3 days. Mildew smell in hallways upon exiting elevator; Room VERY small---Bathroom even smaller!; Hotel was EXTREMELY crowded everywhere we went; Very poor lighting in room; Public bathroom across from gift shops was deplorable-----filthy!! Make dining reservations prior to visit----otherwise 1-2 hour wait;
