Several kitchen items were put away not well washed. One toilet wasn’t clean. Kitchen sink drained very slowly.

The staff was AMAZING! We had got caught in a major storm, the guys I was meeting for RAGBRAI, we’re able to get keys, I called and got checked in over the phone to have my room secured, Daryl was awesome on managing the mess that was handed to him the night of RAGBRAI!

close to restaurants and other amenities
pool and hot tub broken, breakfast delayed on the weekend and we were not told upon check in. poor guidance as to where room was and what was available. Too busy talking about personal life and nothing about our stay and amenities. other than breakfast crew on Saturday other people weren’t very chatty and upon check out no invoice, no email, no personnel available. You’d think on a Sunday at check out time - people would be there to answer questions.

Both were very nice.
One of three rooms were on a different floor.

Impressed with the size of the suite. Kitchen was huge with full-sized refrigerator and dishwasher. Was supplied with utensils and plates/mugs. Coffeemaker was nice. Bedroom was great with sink outside of bathroom.
Breakfast was minimal but not bad. Breakfast sandwiches were offered as well as waffles pre-made and bacon. Bananas were a nice touch. Bagels/ muffins were also a choice.

The room was clean and comfortable but house keeping continuing to open our door multiple times starting before 8 am was beyond irritating.
The hot tub was like a luke warm bath

Most everything
We’re told we’d be able to use the pool mean while showed up and it was not available.

The cost of my room was adjusted down to what my reservation rate was rather than the almost $400 they tried charging us at check-in.
No shampoo, conditioner, or soap. No linens for the sofa bed. Breakfast had minimal choices and was barely room temperature. There were dead bugs throughout the room.

This hotel only had working AC in the lobby area. I understand that it was a hot summer day and that maintenance issues happen, but even our individual room AC had problems. The carpet, couch, bedding all were very damp when we walked in and continued that way throughout the stay. The room could not get cool and the AC ran the whole time. There was rust on the vents, shower curtain bar and door hinges, so it’s apparent this has been an issue for a while. We checked out early because we could not stay comfortably in that hotel.

The woman at the front desk was so pleasant. She was very informative of the area.
Our shower and shower curtain were dirty. I had to clean both before taking a shower, it was disgusting. Cleaning was not done well.
The breakfast choices were not good.

Room were nice bed was comfortable
They didn't say anything about the pool and hot tub being closed but at check-in the told me it was down the hall. And breakfast was bad just one sandwich or that was in the hot tray. Was not even close to a ok breakfast at a hotel. I'll stay at the drury down the road next time.

Great location, close to mall and a variety of restaurants. Not to far from U of I campus or hospital. Woman that checked us in was amazing, super friendly and sweet.
The hotel had a musty, dank, dirty water smell throughout. The smell permeated the entire 1st floor, and was nearly unbearable the closer you got to the pool (we did not swim). Room looked nice upon first glance, but the longer we stayed the more we noticed how unkept it actually was. Vent in bathroom was clogged with dust, drawers were off track in dressers, random long hairs sticking to cupboards, furniture was scuffed and scratched. Overall, very unclean room that has not been kept up.

convenient location that’s abt it
pretty much everything from staff person in front to the room

Location was easy to get to. No parking issues. Lots of restaurants choices nearby. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Although there were quite a few check ins when I arrived, the lady at the front desk was incredibly sweet and professional. She checked me in quickly. Rooms spacious and comfortable, had a kitchen with plates and utensils, which was nice.
The lobby had a funky odor but it was tolerable. The door to the room was hard to open. The room seemed very clean at first. My biggest complaint was upon waking up the next morning, there were a few dead bugs found on the bathroom and kitchen floor. Have no idea how they would have come in because they weren’t there the night before and only a few. But it was enough to gross me out.

The breakfast was great a huge selection. The room was large and nice.
Extra linens would have been nice in the room for the couch. And no trash cans in the bathroom.
