The interior was really nice. It was clean and comfortable.
The exterior needs work. There was a plumbing leak blocking the way to my room. It was a bit sketchy.

The room was good for a quick overnight trip to the beach. I liked the view and the overall size was good for a family of 4.
The beds could have been more comfortable and the floors were a bit rough. Wish there was more accommodation for kids. Like a stool to wash hands or a plug for the bathtub

It was a basic breakfast. The view was awesome

Location is great. It is clear there is effort to clean and do upkeep of what is there for the most part.
I think this place was super nice at one point, the facilities are not the best anymore and could use a remodel in the rooms. The outside is fine particularly for how hard it must be to keep up in the elements.

I paid for a room with a sea view and the windows were so dirty you couldn't see anything.
The room was very dirty and the bathroom in poor condition. There is no telephone, no towels, no soap, no iron. The television didn't work.

Location, ocean view, smell of room, cleanliness of room
When we first got there we noticed we had no towels. We called front desk and they said they would be right up with towels. It took about 1 hour. Then later that night we're going to take a shower but there was no shower curtain or curtain rods. When I turned the key in I told the fro t desk and they adjusted our bill by 25%.

Beds were comfortable.
Facilities need of maintenance. No hand soap provided. View is full of power lines. Latch on 3rd floor window was broken and my 5 year old grandson almost fell out. Breakfast was skimpy and poor choices. No spoons provided. Pool out of order. Juice dispenser out of order. Pop machine out of order. Rusty shower rod and spiderweb on bathroom door frame. Door did not close securely. Walls thin enough to hear neighbors talking. For over $400 for 2 nights, I expected better.

We arrives about an hour early and we’re allowed an early check in. Staff was friendly.
Ants all over in the room, paint was chipping all over the place. There was a burnt hole in the blanket we were given. Nothing was very neat… there were a stack of mattresses by the dumpsters which gave me a lil fear of a bedbug issue.

That it had a pool and hot tub
Our TV remote did not work properly to turn volume up or down or TV off . Bed had big stains, a dirty mattress , no phone in the room , not enough parking , pool was like an ice plunge couldn't swim in it .

We enjoyed the ocean view
The room wasn't as clean as it should have been. The pillows smelled like smoke and there was hair in the shower and sink

We had an emergency that resulted in the front desk person doing her best to get me into my room when I was locked out. After the fire department had to break down the door, the lady was so kind and understanding and was so nice as to give me another room and not kick me out. It was unexpected and very much appreciated!
The parking is not the best, and there was only one ice machine at the far end of the complex, that I could find at least.

The bed was soft, the shower was hot and the scenery was beautiful.
We opened up our room and it had not been cleaned. So we had to go get a different room. But that's okay. We made it work. Breakfast was not ready till later, so I had to grab it on our way out.

The place needs work. I won't be back I have been coming for many years. Pool house is terrible depressing. Internet/TV sucks it freezes and last time aka last night. An alarm went off 9:30pm- 10am!! Try sleeping with constant beeping!
The beeping of the alarm for 12hrs all night!
9pm-11am!

The bed was comfortable and room was clean.
The check in area was under construction. The breakfast was set up in the laundry room.
In the hotel description while booking, it said beach was 350 feet away which was totally misleading. Maybe you could see the beach but could not access the beach within 350 feet. We needed to walk several blocks for the public beach entrance. Was totally disappointed with this hotel stay.

everything was just so-so!
Beach access is TERRIBLE. It is a hike down there and agonizing coming back up the hill!

Oyo Hotel was comfortable, affordable and in a great location. Its a short 5 minute walk down to Nye Beach. The pool and hot tub was a winner for the kids.
There is a skate park across the road so make sure you pack your board or scooter.
Although breakfast was offered it consisted of doughnuts and breakfast bars. Coffee and juice was also available. We went to Stephanies cafe down the road for a hot cooked brekky instead.

I didn’t like much about it just that I can see the ocean from my window but my windows were soooo dirty it was pointless
a lot. my bathroom fan made such a load noise I couldn’t keep it on, my windows weren’t clean so the “ocean view” was pointless. and it just wasn’t worth the money

The breakfast offerings were very limited since I’m allergic to gluten.

loving the location, pretty close to the beach
While I appreciate the hotel's convenient location near the beach, I must express my disappointment with the overall living experience during my trip.
One of the main issues we encountered was the absence of a hair dryer in our room. As frequent travelers, we consider a hair dryer essential amenity hotels provide. However, when we contacted the front desk to address this issue, we were informed that no extra hair dryers were available throughout the hotel. The alternative solution offered to us was the provision of additional towels to dry our hair.
Moreover, I regret to mention that despite the inconvenience we experienced during our stay, we did not receive any follow-up or apology from the hotel owner or management. This lack of acknowledgment was disappointing and left us feeling undervalued as guests.
I want to emphasize that I genuinely enjoyed the hotel's location, which provided easy access to the beach. However, I feel compelled to mention that the lack of essential supplies in the room, particularly the absence of a hair dryer, caused discomfort for my partner and resulted in them catching a cold after the trip.

Had a pool and hot tub. The pool was chilly though but the hot tub came in handy for when you wanted to warm up. Room was clean and looked like it was just remodeled. Great view of the ocean and the light house.
Didn’t like that there was no access to the beach. Had to walk a few ways down the road to access the beach. Didn’t like that I paid close to 200 bucks for a bottom street view room. And you could hear every movement the upstairs people were doing and could even hear when there ac/heater would kick on. Very noisy and was hard to fall asleep with all that noise going on upstairs. Not the neighbors fault. The remodel was nice they just had some paint misshapes. Like the hanging light next to the window had paint around the rim and some of the paint bled into the other paint. Which wasn’t that big of a deal.

location
basic needs, nothing exceptional for $150+ night. Interior needs to be painted, floor swept better. Shampoo was “used” container.

2nd stay their. It is an older hotel but has recently remodeled. The room was good size and beds comfortable. Most important to me, the room was clean. The view out of our window was the ocean which was just across the street. They had installed an elevator which made it so much easier to get to the 2nd floor with all our luggage in one trip. Lots of places to eat on the main road and stores to shop in.
Everything was good for me.

I could see the ocean
too much to list worst place I’ve seen in a long time it was dirty. It was not at all like it had promoted, and their stuff was extremely rude with exception to the woman who was there in the morning. I don’t know how many times I had to ask them to move the cleaning carts in the middle of the walkway so my mother could put her walker through the whole place was just ridiculous, especially for being a Wyndham you would think that they would be way better. They are giving Wyndham a bad name!

Close to the ocean
Cute little area/town
Room was spacious - huge plus!
Breakfast was less than mediocre
"Ocean view" was a little misleading as there was no beach access
Office area was ran down, dirty, in need of repair and an upgrade

We liked our third floor ocean view room. The queen beds were very comfortable. The room was clean and the furnishings acceptable. The continental breakfast had good variety, but was a bit heavy on the sweets.
People who stayed the room next to us got up at 3:30 AM, talked & laughed loudly, and watched TV with the volume turned up. Because of the thin wall between our rooms, the noise woke us up. My husband eventually knocked on their door and asked them to quiet down. They were upset and told my husband to go away. It then got a little quieter, but not enough for us to sleep. After awhile, he called the manager and explained what was going on, so the manager contacted them and then it finally got quiet. By this time it was almost 5 AM. We were finally able to get some sleep. However, they started to make noise again at 7:00 AM. I know this is not the hotel's fault, but because of the rude people next to us, we didn't enjoy our stay.
