Nothing went well
Room had gnats flying all around. Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Room didn’t look like pictures at all. Breakfast was waffles or cereal. Not the normal free breakfast. Outside room on sidewalks was so dirty.

The place needed many repairs. It was dirty, things were broken, it was musty, the bed was so hard and worn out, we couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep. The pool was dirty and had broken tiles.

Staff was friendly and it's location to event center was great
The room was dingy and had a stinky smell and ants. The beds were uncomfortable. The pillows weren’t even full-size. We prepaid and they didn’t have any other rooms on the bottom floor, nor could we just go spend money at another hotel, so we went to the store to buy air fresheners and bug spray so we could make it through the night. The horrible smell lingered, seeming to be coming from the carpet, so were afraid to leave our belongings on the floor or take off our shoes.

I did not stay
Arrived at 3pm to put my suitcase change and leave for the meeting
The place was full of flying insects and was very cold
I started throwing up
I came back from the meeting at 7pm. Took my suit case and drove back to Houston
I preferred to drive the distance than to rest in that room

staff was friendly
There was a problem with the room key! first time I had to go back to the front office because I couldn’t open the door. Then the second time I had a lot of trouble opening. I booked a smoking room because it was a good price but it was a mistake! everything smelled really bad as soon as I opened the door! the bed sheets smelled terrible! I don’t think they were clean. There was bugs on one of the beds. the maintenance of the property is not good at all. Breakfast wasn’t good either, just waffles that tasted terrible, apples looked bad and cereal. I won’t stay here again.

We were dissatisfied with the property. The posted pictures are not an accurate description of the property.
This property was poorly maintained. Chipped paint on buildings, walkways dirty, bathroom had mold, and pool was not open. In addition safety was a major concern but property management did not listen to our concerns.

Wi-Fi was spotty. Room was not in good condition with obvious lack of cleaning. Can’t complain all the much for the price.

The beds and pillows were really nice. It was close to A&M which was nice. Solid surface floor was nice. The employees were professional. Thats where it ends, unfortunately.
We had fruit flies swarming in the room which explains all the spider webs and possibly black widow running into a bathroom crevice. I think the guy above us was on drugs and police came one night. The pool was green and should have been usable; this is mid April in TX. The free breakfast was inedible. No butter at all for the waffle Saturday so we paid for breakfast elsewhere Sunday. Coffee had been burnt and reheated. Orange juice was not orange. The hotel exterior was filthy. One single use shampoo/conditioner combo pouch given per day. I don't think the pillow cases were changed when they cleaned the room after the first night because they were so wrinkled. Someone must have urinated on the ironing board. The pics I took don't do it justice! Ill be happy to share them with you. This was by far the worst hotel I have stayed at in 30 years!

It was more affordable than some of the others
Not much choice at breakfast. If you we diabetic you would NEVER be able to eat anything there. The beds were hard. The room was so hot it took 2 days for the air conditioner to cool the room down.

clean, affordable room and good location
We were given a room at the front of the hotel. Too much noise from the road.

One of the best rates in town; comfortable room, bathroom in good condition, excellent job by hospitality service; quiet; very friendly and courteous
not many options for breakfast -- all carbs :(
booking.com lists a gym, but I didn't see one -- forgot to ask
hope the pool will be open when it gets warmer
