Perfect for a solo traveler

Great value for the price and a great location. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There were a few bad reviews about the Wifi, so I was a bit worried, but they seemed to have figured it out, and Wifi was working fine for me. The spa was really good - two pools, a sauna, a steam room and a hot tub - all fully functional and enjoyable. They also have an Indian restaurant next to it, which had very authentic home-made Indian food. I speak as someone who backpacked in India four times. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Vermont.

Great quaint place excellent value

This motel is in a great location. Perfect access to highways and food. The price is excellent and unbeatable. The staff was very friendly and everything felt very homey and private. When we decided we wanted to stay another night they were able to accomedate us even on short notice for an ecen better price. Couldnt have picked a better place for our needs!

Only complaint is we asked several times for extra blankets and pillows and couldnt get any for some reason. Also i would have preferred small bottles of soap and toilettries rather than the wall dispensers.

excellent choice - exceeded description of property

Motel sits far back from road so very quiet. Able to sit outside on patio or balcony. Large dorm fridge and micro.

Okay for short stay

Off a busy road but located near shopping and services including dining and recreation activities.

The wifi connection dropped many times. There was no working ice machine in the building.

Avoid this location if you can

There was a toosters, microwave worked, fridge worked. And the bed seemed clean.

is old and outdated. Price is too high for what you get. Breakfast? There was coffee, some apples and banana’s and a little leftover milk Entering the room we were welcomed by a musty air, it took a few hour with open windows to have an acceptable atmosphere. Look at their reactions on reviews, they never confirm there is a problem.

Room was clean. Convenient to where I had to be. Numerous places to go for a meal.

Big, comfortable rooms. cool pools when they are open.

room was spacious and well furnished. Comfortable king bed, pull out couch, chair with ottoman, desk with chair, microwave and small fridge, coffee maker and large closet. Cable TV. Hanaford supermarket across the street. Dollar General, Indian restaurant, and fast food all within walking distance.

A main selling point was the pools and hot tub. They were all closed due to thunder both afternoons and evenings I was there. I was surprised because they are all indoors. Breakfast was weak but ok. Typical for a motel I would say. Upholstery and rugs could use a cleaning but room was otherwise clean. I would have liked another lock on the door.

Worst motel stay

Absolutely nothing positive about this place worst money spent at a motel

Man at front desk knew nothing Didn’t have enough blankets for our room we asked for another blanket for our daughter we were told they had none so we had to go to a store to buy one, the pandemic and state of emergency has been over and our kids were not allowed to use the pool due to not having a Covid vaccine even though it has been shown that doesn’t stop the spread of the virus. Room was awful beds not comfortable waste of money

A quaint, clean, and comfortable motel just outside of downtown Brattleboro.

Settled a little over a mile away from downtown Brattleboro, the Colonial is perfectly accessible if you have a car. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was attentive. The pools are heavenly.

When I arrived in my room, the smoke detector was chirping and saying “low battery.” I called the front desk and the receptionist said he would take care of it. An hour or so later as I was heading out for an evening on the town, I stopped by the front desk to ask again. He reassured me he would take care of me, and when I returned a bit later, it was fixed.

Everything was great for the price. Check out the Indian Restaurant next door. Excellent food. Location was also a plus. Near a Dollar Store, across the street from a large supermarket and not far from other convenient restaurants.

Breakfast could be improved, but honestly, for the money, I can't complain.
