Comfortable stay

Best hotel in Anacortes. The rooms are clean, comfortable, modern and sound proof. We had a great stay!

Can be the location- but not worth the $$$

Location- Location- Location! It could not be better located- it is right in the middle of shops, restaurants, and bars. The staff was nice and the rooms were large and clean.

The bed was so uncomfortable. After the first night, we spoke to the staff and they had a member of their cleaning staff add another comforter under the bottoms sheet because “they don’t track where the pillow tops are”. I appreciate the effort; but when you are paying close to $350 a night, you don’t expect to have a sore back. Also, the website said that the rooftop bar and patio would be open May 1- it was May 25-27 when we’re there and it wasn’t open. Again, it would’ve have been a big deal if their website was correct. Finally, our room overlooked Commercial Ave which was great during the day but on Saturday night the bar across the street had live music from about 9:00 PM- 12:00 AM. Just wish we had a heads up about it.

Perfect

Loved the convenience being in the heart of historic Anacortes- great shops and local restaurants to browse!

Would’ve preferred a drip coffee maker over the French press- but the fresh ground local coffee provided every day was great! The seagulls song every morning was a great sound

Accomodations in room met expectations but were not exceptional.

Price was about twice as much compared to others of similar accomodation

Prime location walking to shops and restaurants.

Location is awesome.

Thin walls. We could hear banging sounds from the next room. It didn't sound sexual. Just a sound like someone was knocking something during the evening. In the morning you could hear the housekeeping vacuum the bedroom next to our room.

Well worth staying here. Definitely the best hotel in town. You'll like it!

Very clean comfortable room. Great view of town and wonderful bed with fabulous sheets.

Personally would rather an alternative to only having a French coffee press. First thing in the morning I'd rather just push a button.

It was very pleasant.

The breakfast was very good though the potatoes were a little undercooked.

Wine in the restaurant was warm, the salad greens were limp.

great for a weekend, but bring ear plugs

very close to lots of restaurants and shopping. not very much street noise. walk in shower was roomy and the hot water pressure was great

any noise from the hallway or even other rooms was very noticeable. also, our bathroom door did not close, and even though we told customer service it was never addressed. had to ask for additional pillows, as the king bed only had three.

Up to visit friends This was an exceptionally clean and well kept hotel, and VERY pup friendly. Location was wonderful, right downtown.

Very good

The staff was very courteous and helpful, even when we arrived at midnight. :-) The room was large with period-style furniture. Breakfast was good. The location is central to Commerical Ave. and the various shops and restaurants.

Our ferry from San Juan Island was late due to a medical emergency, which meant we arrived back to the hotel after the dining room closed at 9 pm, the same closing time as other restaurants during the week. We missed dinner but had snacks and the hot water maker in the room for tea so it was fine. It is important to plan your time with the nature of the town in mind.

Very good

The staff are very nice and helpful. The building is located at the center of the town with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. There is an in-house restaurant which also offers room service till late night, which is a big convenience.

The elevator in the newer building was broken when we checked in and it was still broken 2 days later when we checked out. Was a big inconvenience.

lovely boutique hotel, great bed, fabulous dinner at their restaurant 5th Street Bistro. located in the heart of the tourist downtown. very friendly and helpful staff. even an old phone in an old phone booth that actually works!

beautiful property! rooms were gorgeous! the coffee for the morning and a French press made it more special!

that the elevator didn’t work and we had to walk up 3 flights of stairs! wore my 72 year old husband out!

Luxury prices but no glamor or pizazz: boring decor.

—bed, pillows, linen were very comfortable —room was quiet & private

1. elevator broken, & no compensation, or even an apology, offered for having to carry bags up 3 flights of stairs. 2. NY’s Eve & not a single sparkle or gift or something fun presented. just room rates that were 2x normal pricing! seems could have thrown in something w/ pizazz, a treat? 3. room way too hot, couldn’t get the thermostat down 4. no shampoo! or any toiletry treats
