At least there was coffee in the morning. No selection, just a light roast with non-dairy creamer and sugars. There was instant grits (like oatmeal packages) but I wouldn't call that a breakfast. The refrigerator was cold for our water.
The property interior was not clean. Garbage on the floor. Hallways not vacuumed. Let's work around the room. Our room door was open when we arrived. There were no towels, no soaps, no shampoos, no extra toilet paper, no garbage can, no garbage bag. A drawer below the TV was missing the front cover. I know the property doesn't have control over this but the upstairs neighbor walked with a heavy foot throughout the night so we did not sleep. The staff always gave an attitude and felt like they were annoyed when I had a question. We felt the area wasn't safe. Less than 1/4 mile away was a homeless tent city. Also, during departure there was a man outside the lobby picking his feet (no shoes on) as we drove away. Will never book here, or at the Extended Stay America company, ever again. Why? Because one property reflects all the properties. I pre-paid for 3 nights so I could not get a refund or else I would have gone to another property immediately. I was embarrassed I took my fiancé to Austin.

It wasn't the cleanest place I've stayed. The floor had definitely not been swept in a long time.

Nothing
This hotel is trash! I made reservations a week in advance. Friday, February the 24th, the day I was supposed to check in, I called them at 5pm to tell them i would have a late arrival that night. I was told no problem. At 10:45pm I called 40 miles out to tell them i would be there in a few and was told that they had no more rooms. The clerk said she was waiting for me to call since 3pm because the cleaning lady left at 3 and didn't clean my room and other rooms. I explained to her i had my whole family in the car and needed that room. She said I never called them and she had been waiting since 3pm to tell me and 4 other people they had no rooms. And i should contact booking.com amd tell them not to charge me for a no show. And maybe another Extended Stay had rooms or maybe not. Terrible service and horrible experience! I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this place.

Room size
No smoke detector, ( just wires where 1 had been,) or bar lock on room door. Only 4 wash cloths & 4 hand towels. My husband went to ask for bath towels, the woman acted suspicious, asked if he was sure. Said they don't provide towels unless exchanging dirty for clean. But then gave 4 bath towels. MIssing electrical outlet cover by bed. No glass shades over light fixture above desk or bathroom. Missing drawer in chest.Curtain missing hooks, top corner hanging down.Bathroom faucet hot/cold backwards. Kitchen. dishwasher, cabinets, side of fridge all dirty, sticky. Large red stains on carpet. Telephone had no receiver cord.
Monday morning 10am I called the front desk from my cell phone. No answer. I left message asking for late checkout. I called again at 11, & spoke to a woman who said we had till noon. I advised my husband was having bac k problems but we'd work as fast as we can. I just had my knee replaced, walking with a cane. Not allowed to lift more than 10 lbs. About 11:30 a woman knocked asking when we were checking out. I advised noon. A few minutes later Jeff went down to the front desk to ask for the cart. No one was there so he took it. He loaded it and went thru the lobby to the load the van. . No one was at the desk. Upon returning, there was a man wanting the cart, so he let him take it. Still no one at the desk. He came & got all he could carry. I was waiting with my service dog, and 2 items left, it was 12:30 when someone pounded on the door & demanded I open it. I said just a minute, I'm comng. She yelled No, you open it now. I yelled back, I'm disabled, give me a minute. Opened to 2 women and maint man. Women yelling that I was to be out at noon, I advised Jeff kept trying to let them know our progress. She lied stating she was at desk all morning and they're charging me for another day-maint offering to help me. Women still taunting me as I left thru the lobby.

They overbooked our room so gave us a smaller room with fewer beds with no notice. There weren’t enough towels. One lamp had no light bulb. The bathroom light fixture was broken. Absolutely no amenities at all other than a bar of soap. The washcloths were dirty.
