The only issue I had was we needed a firmer bed… we were both hurting by morning.

The property was located in the middle of Chicago and Indiana Dunes which made it a convenient location to stay. The staff were very friendly. The price is unbeatable but remember, you get what you pay for.
The hotel as a whole is run down. Missing baseboards, dirty/sticky carpet, filthy and moldy grout, and just an unclean vibe. There was a streak of blood on the outside of our toilet. The carpets in the hallways weren’t swept the entirety of our stay. Also, it is also a party spot! If you want to take your family out to the pool, be prepared to be around a variety of people drinking alcohol, smoking weed, and listening to sexually explicit music. I’m positive they weren’t all guests of the hotel either. Seems like a local hang out. Breakfast was also poor. It’s already slim pickings because they rely on Jimmy Deans frozen sandwiches, but one of the days of our stay they were out of sandwiches and the inventory wasn’t coming in until the next day.

Breakfast was ok. The hostess there was very nice and accommodating. The hotel was fairly quiet considering how crowded the area was. The pool are looked good ( although I did not go swimming). It is in a decent location to find whatever we needed.
The hotel was a bit run down which I was not expecting, carpets are stained and baseboards were missing. The window in my room was cracked which could be considered a safety hazard. The bathroom fan did not work and the toilet bowl needed a scrubbing. I feel like I could have gotten a room of equal quality elsewhere for a lot cheaper.

Location was good. Free shuttle to nearby festival was an awesome perk. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. The staff was friendly and professional. Restaurant located in the same parking lot was super convenient and their food was delicious!

Breakfast was great. The staff was friendly. Location was great because it was directly off of the highway.
The facility needs to install ADA access on their main entry. Very difficulty juggling luggage and get into the building.

Terrible reviews. Upon on arriving we were not happy with the hotel and the neighborhood. We went to another hotel

This was an old hotel that has been updated in some good ways. I would describe it as a motel trying really hard to me a hotel. Frozen Jimmy Dean biscuits you could heat up in the microwave, some different breads and 2 cereals for breakfast. Not great for my gluten free diet but a lot of hotels don't have gluten free at breakfast. Nice size room, quiet, beds were comfortable, most of bathroom was updated. The front desk staff was nice and responsive. It is very close to Chicago and there is no parking cost so that was really nice. It only took 20 minutes to get to the University of Chicago the next day and was super easy. The area seemed a little sketchy but there were things close by.
The bathroom was clean except there was a lot of hair everywhere. It seems like they cleaned but forgot to sweep. Or mopped but just spread the hair around. It was only in the bathroom. The rest of the room was clean. The hot water came out scalding hot and I actually burned my foot on it. I told the front desk and they took it seriously and were nice. They gave me burn cream and a bandaid and asked about the rest of my party. They took a note to have the maintenance look at it and mentioned the part that might have gone bad. Be careful when showering!!

I am so glad to have booked this hotel. My family and I decided to stop at this Ramada hotel after a long day of driving. The hotel check-in area isn't the prettiest, but it didn't matter because the room was very spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was perfect for us! Breakfast was good too--pretty simple nothing too fancy. I would definitely recommend this place!
