Beautiful Historic Hotel in the heart of the city. Quick walk to many cafes and places nearby. Large bedroom. Being renovated. Lobby details with the high ceilings and all the carpentry work. Elegant ambiance, courteous staff.
It is under remodeling and on Friday morning there were people working on the outside of the bedroom window.
The elevator in lobby had only 1 working on several occasions.
Bathtub needs replacement

The customer service at this Hotel is beyond exceptional!! What a beautiful place. They have definitely kept the "old" style of Florida. It was after we left that the amazing customer service came into play. I left a suitcase and Adam and Nicole kept me informed step by step to get it back to me. The communication exceeded my expectations by far. The customer service that was provided is extremely rare these days. It's nice to know that it still exists!! Thank you Nicole and Adam.

The room and the hotel itself were very nice. The shuttle service was most helpful.
Overpriced. I was not informed of the increase in the room price beforehand. Breakfast was not included/

Breakfast at the coffee shop - My toast was burnt with an outrageous amount of mayo.
Room was great! We were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go. Valet service was perfection, as was housekeeping.
The scaffolding around the building, the newer staff couldn't give us information about local shops, and the elevators were small and only 2 were working. we did not realize construction was going on in the Hotel. The rooms had a mini split with no instructions on how to use it.

The only good thing about this property was the people were friendly but even when asked to help with us not getting cold water they said they’d take care of it but was never fixed.
Everything else. Nice place I guess totally not worth the money. Didn’t tell us that the building was undergoing construction before we booked and the construction started at 7:30 am but don’t worry they will provide you with earplugs. The hotel is shoddy granted it’s old and undergoing renovations so it probably won’t be to bad in the future but I would not stay here again.

The inside of the hotel is beautiful and clean. The rooms are spacious.
The only option for parking is valet at $38 per day.

The bed was very comfortable
The scaffolding over the windows and the window glass completely covered in splatters of cement meant we couldn’t even have our curtains open.

The hotel looked nice and our room were comfortable. I appreciated there were two restaurants and a coffee shop
The construction going on made it difficult to fully enjoy the hotel. Our bathroom door didn’t close at all. The gym didn’t have window and was very hot.

location, size of the room
Didn't appreciate the extra $30/day resort fee, would have like to now that at the time of booking. Water pressure was poor and that made for unsatisfied showering

The staff was helpful, the rooms were wonderful and the restaurant was excellent.
The scaffolding all over the building, but it was necessary for renovations.

The beds were nice food was good, bathroom is nice.
We should have been told the building was being redone and just opened. The water wasn’t hot the toilet wasn’t flushing correctly. Comfy beds but overall we should have known about it being worked on.

Room ok.
The beds are not so good. 1 elevator was broken people could not get in.

the view and dinning area.
the elevators slack, parking lot not safe and small, no microwaves in room, and breakfast ends early.

The only thing good was the breakfast
The beds are the hardest mattresses I have ever slept on in my life, I thought it was just two box springs; no mattress. They charge 30$ a night for parking that is surrounded by homeless people and they walk through it all night long because of the bus stop. I thought my car was going to get broken into. It is WAY over priced, The room was small, and half the channels listed on the TV are not even available.

it was downtown close to the wedding venue
rundown .. only 1 elevator worked … the towels where cheap thin and rough… we got the bare minimum towels .. pillows uncomfortable and thick … coffee maker in room only came with 1 reg coffee and 1 decaf … usually you get 2 reg coffee …
hot water took 10 min to get hot

Location was excellent! Ample parking (just avoid the drugged-up homeless people). Breakfast varied, but overall edible. Front staff was understanding of the chaotic situation during the remodeling process. The building is brilliant and historic but needs so much funding and work for it to be pleasurable.
One elevator worked (the other two were inoperable), then the remaining one got stuck with people in it. At one point, we had to take the service elevator. We changed our room three times (first, no hot water; second, no A/C; third had no phone, but whatever). The testing of the alarm system was a couple of hours with no notice, plenty of confusion, and did not know if it was real-world or a test. Had to take the stairs 18 floors down. Staff did not speak English, so that didn't help.

Location of hotel, bed was comfortable
No hot water, ac wasn't that great, bartender couldn't make a decent drink and you have to pay $30 a day to park in a lot that is questionable and is under construction. I wouldn't recommend it nor stay there again.

Great staff. Liked the vibe and the historic feel and look. Great complimentary breakfast each day.
There were some inconveniences and some genuine concerns. I addressed these with management and was satisfied with the resolution.

Ok, but eggs were not very good and the honeydew melon was not ripe enough. The bacon was delicious.
I already answered this question above. Also at check-in they should make it clear that housekeeping doesn’t come to the room each day.
