Superbe

L’emplacement, près de SF, Sausalito, Muir Woods, Sonoma et Nappa valleys. Superbe accueil. Petit déjeuner et café à disposition. Chambre spacieuse, sympa et propre.

Like another reviewer said, this will be our go-to place whenever we are in Marin.

Although no breakfast was on the website, there were morning pastries, drinks, and small welcome amenities. Norma made everyone feel at home and was very accommodating. The rooms were well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and it was quiet.

The neighborhood, while accessible, did not lend itself to walking. Actually, there is very little that we did not like.

Clean, quiet and Friendly.

Very clean and quiet. Super friendly staff. Easy and secure parking in tree shaded area right outside the room. We stayed in February (windows closed), and the rooms seemed to be all booked but we didn't hear any sounds from other guests or from the nearby highway.

Not much to walk to from this location. But we had a car and lots to do in the area.

Great place! We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

This place sort of hides behind the trees, but we are sure glad we found it. The main “like” has to be the room. It can be a matter of courtesy to say a room is spic and span … but if a room ever could be described as spic and span (and neat as a pin), it’s this one. Comfortable, nicely furnished … I don’t know what else to stay about the room. Also a nice, straightforward continental breakfast availability in the office.

It was too cold outside. 🤓

The best little motel in San Rafael.

They manage to have a charming motel in a tiny slice of real estate and it is just amazing. From the easy check-in to the friendly staff always willing to help we liked absolutely everything. The decor is a bit dated and I mean just a bit. They have clearly up graded since the photos on the website were taken.

There was really only one thing. The TV controls are super confusing and while we could see that we should be able to log into by our Netflix account, we could not. However we weren’t there for TV we were there for a wonderful wedding and only spent a few hours in the rooms anyway.

Everything was great except we have a firm mattress at home and this one was very soft, not good for us. Loved the room though!

Ample parking, well-kept outdoor area, friendly staff, nice and comfy room, good-sized bathroom, fridge, comfy bed, TV, quiet although next to a road

Ants and hair in shower, water took quite a while to get warm

Nicely-priced, clean, comfortable and attractive hotel in Marin County. Will return.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It's off a street that runs parallel to the 101, so it's easy to access. Though it is very close to a major highway and you do get some noise, the hotel does a great job making it feel a bit more secluded by separating the parking area and hotel from the street by a line of mature trees and foliage. Each door into each room is separated by pines which add a real beauty to the hotel. It's very quaint-looking, having an old school, but modern "motel" look about it. Clean grounds, clean rooms, friendly service. I would definitely stay here again. Great price for Marin.

The room was very comfortable. The location was excellent. Right in the centre of all things Marin County has to offer and just a few minutes from the Larkspur fairy terminal to go into San Francisco.

Very pleasant

Small, quaint motel. Not super quiet, but not as loud as one would expect next to the freeway. Grounds were beautiful and beds were surprisingly comfortable. The shower had the right amount of pressure.

More insulation in between the walls - our next door neighbor had loud conversations throughout the night.

We would stay there again in a heartbeat

We liked the location and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Light breakfast offered every morning. Bed was really comfortable.

The heat in our room was acting up. Thermostat didn't match actual temperature and room was either too cold or too hot. Other than that, it was great.

Excellent restful stay at Marin Lodge

The bed and linens were comfortable. The motel was near 101 but the room was quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. Location was convenient to all of Marin county and San Francisco area.

Cute, clean spot with a price you can't beat!

Kind and friendly staff. Cute, clean and cozy room. Can't beat the price! Easy and safe parking. Great location to where I needed to be, and right near the freeway. They were nice enough to let me check out a little late due to a work meeting that ran late. Very happy with my stay, and will definitely be back!

Everything was great. I did rescue two spiders from my room, but it was pouring rain and the area is woodsy, so I think the storm drove them inside.

The ONLY thing I did not like....was the shower head!!! Yep, of ALL things the shower head was horrible bcuz the shower is gorgeous So I brought it to the attention of mgmt and it's going to be addressed asap
