The hotel was in an ideal location, away from the general madness of the city and in a safe residential area.
I didn't like that I had to leave.

Stor og praktisk leilighet med kjøkken. Utrolig trivelig og hjelpsomme ansatte. Anbefales!

The rooms are spacious, pretty, and clean. The amenities are very convenient. This is the only hotel I use for my trips to NY.

A haven in NYC. Wonderful spacious and stylish rooms and loft suites at an affordable rate. Staff are super nice and accommodating. Shower has plenty of hot water, great water pressure and lovely toiletries.

Full of character in a cool modern way - it’s a converted factory, which has been imaginatively re-designed to include exposed bricks, beams, a central staircase, interesting artwork. Spacious room, described as a loft, but ours was essentially a studio apartment, and has lovely touches like a small selection of books that I’d actually like to read. Extremely helpful and charming staff, who told us where to get the best neighbourhood pizza etc. Once we got our bearings, it was an easy 10 minute walk to the subway. It’s in a lovely quiet residential neighbourhood in Brooklyn. We have been to New York several times, but never gone across to Brooklyn, and I’d definitely go back to stay at this hotel. Not just more interesting than staying in a box in Manhattan, also really good value and much better for a longer stay, as you can be self sufficient if you want. We got an apartment you could actually live in, with double bed, living area with large sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom with a proper bathtub.
If you want privacy from the rest of your family, the open plan layout would not be for you: there isn’t a door between the bedroom area and the living area, where the others would be sleeping.

The room was spacious, well-appointed and exceptionally clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.
There was nothing I did not like.

Zona tranquilla

It was such a cozy place. Felt like a small apartment more than a hotel room. The beds were so comfy as well. We took the ferry into the city everyday as well and it was close by. The property exceeded my expectations!

Warmes Wasser braucht EWIG (10 Minuten mindestens), reine Wasserverschwendung

Location, design, artwork, furnishings, lighting and layout.
The draperies were not easy to open and use to block out the outside lighting. The blinds were insufficient in blocking out the same lighting.
4.5
Relativ teuer.
4.5
Gréât design and spaciousness of studio.
Studio/room needs a mirror outside bathroom. Maybe a large one in bedroom ?

This place and the neighbourhood were our oasis after days of exploring the city. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, and lots of nice, small touches like lemon water, breakfast pastries, an umbrella just in case.
There is some noise, as other guests have indicated, but nothing a good pair of ear plugs can't solve.
For some, traveling to the main sights might be a bit of a hassle, but we loved the area and did not mind the always surprising subway rides.

Extremely friendly staff, eclectic and beautiful decor, walkable to the highlights in the Greenpoint neighborhood. Comfortable bed and great skyline views.
Street was loud and noise from room above could be heard; recommend a travel white noise machine.

Not far from airport.
Over priced , I had to stay somewhere my flight got canceled.

Location. Cleanliness. The room was large. The main bed was a little small but it was comfy. Continental breakfast was good. The hotel had a great vibe. Artwork was awesome and amenities inside the room were great. Fully stocked kitchen if needed. Bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and body wash so if you forgot yours it was super convenient. Staff was super friendly and helpful. would highly recommend and will be staying again when in Brooklyn.
Main bed was too small. It was a double or full size. I feel like they could have fit a Queen easily in the space. Sofa bed was uncomfortable but that’s pretty typical of those types of beds.

Rooms feel very cozy and functional, not like standard rooms in any other hotels, beautiful hardwood floors, facilities, location, friendly staff.
Beautiful art.
Hot air goes up and the floors are very cold in winter time. Bathroom doesn’t have heat and gets cold.
Mattress is very soft. Pricy.

I loved the free coffee and tea both in the lobby and also in the room. There was water with lemon in the lobby too which was very refreshing.
I would have liked more printed information about how to use local public transport.

no actual bar in the hotel

All was good, just a little further from a Metro station than we realised, not a huge problem. The Hotel was good value

. room was superb and the overall decor of the hotel was unique. staff were excellent.

Spacious room, with a lounge and living room area. For the warmer months I can see this being a great place to stay.
The room was difficult to get warm, there is just one very noisy air heater in the whole room..... it took a full day to heat and was really only comfortable from day 2. The bathroom has no heating so it's essentially an icebox, we ended up leaving the bathroom door open to try and make it less uncomfortable.
Public transport involves quite a trek. It is in Greenpoint but you should factor a 25min walk to the nearest L train, but it is reasonably priced so I think using a taxi app is a decent compromise.
The staff seemed a little disorganized, and service was very variable depending on who (if anyone) was manning the desk). We had asked for a late checkout, which one person said shouldn't be a problem and since we had a late afternoon flight we could generally stay till 2pm but sometimes 3pm is an option but we had to ask the morning of checkout. So we tried that and then we were told, the latest checkout would be midday and they could extend till 1pm but that would be a fee of 75, which seems a bit steep for an hour, especially since an additional night wouldn't have been much more (with a discount deal). So were left trying to do our conf calls in their cold "business area" where they had also a rather loud sound system. Anyway, I appreciate that late checkout is a courtesy but since they weren't busy it seems a shame not to be a bit more lenient especially as we were led to believe differently by one of their colleagues...plus rather than apologize for the confusion she just blamed her colleague for misinforming us (which never sounds good/professional)..

great rooms, lots of space and a brilliant interior design!

the vibe, free water downstairs, staff was exceptionally nice, 12 min walk from the train, quiet and safe neighborhood

The check in was efficient and the staff was friendly. We ordered two beers to our room and they arrived promptly.
I did not sleep at all that night because it sounded like the room above us was being renovated or at least having the furniture moved in. Around 11pm, we started to hear heavy foot steps upstairs, like someone was working out. Then we heard furniture dragging across the floor. Then we heard voices and banging. Finally I gathered that work was being done on that room. As we had an appointment early the next morning, I did not have time to address this with the staff when we left. I was in town for leisure and did not enjoy the next day due to a complete lack of sleep.
