The accommodation is outside but close to Manhattan with the nearest station being Court Square. Clean and fresh. Breakfast on the terrace floor, prepared by our own "chef", really personal and good as long as there is no queue. The accommodation is in a ´factory area´without being disturbing.

The room was prepaid. I was actually charged a large amont to my credit card upon checking, which the hotel says will be refunded in 7 days for incedentals. I could not check in without it. No charge should go on the credit card, only a hold. Now I have the extra chore to make sure I get the refund, and If I do not, I will have a problem in my hands. Be ware of large required incidental charge on check in.

The rooms are somewhat spartan but very clean. The staff is outstanding especially the front desk. I had forgotten to bring the mouse to my computer and the front desk man went to his office and supplied me with an extra one. The breakfast is very good buffet with a very helpful cook on station to take your orders but it is again a simple, somewhat spartan setting. the lobby has a nice refreshment corner with tea, coffee and light snacks. The rooms are small and simple. Over all I would recommend it for medium cost business travel. There is no nearby subway stop so taking taxis or Lyfts is necessary.

The area around the hotel is somewhat questionable especially late at night, but very adjacent the subway. But the hotel is okay. The bathrooms need a little bit of make-over though. However, this is very typical for a two-or three-star hotel.

The hotel is a 2 star hotel not worth over 300. Dollars per night . The noise level outside is outrageous . Lots of trem lines passes by near the hotel . Just not a good experience .

This property is perfectly fine. Nothing extravagant but clean and comfortable. If you are sensitive to noise, the Amtrak is close by and may be a problem. I know the neighborhood well so it may not be an ideal spot for all tourists but it’s a 10 minute walk to the 7 train which will take you straight into Manhattan!

Nice quaint hotel in LIC. The trains were not a problem at all regarding noise. The gentlemen at the front desk were very nice and accommodating when we wanted to add an additional night. Short walk to restaurants and shopping. Will definitely use again!!

They have to stop using so so so so much bleach. Every room smells terrible. And it is not healthy to sleep in something with those kind of fumes. I had to keep the window open all night

Room was clean and comfortable, Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location, however, with the opening of a migrant shelter nearby, it is not very safe to walk at night.

It was descent for pricing but definitely not the cleanest. Weird smell throughout but they do have wood floors and headboards which is good when it comes to not spreading bugs. The area was not ideal either but made it work on a last minute notice

Hotel gives 4-hour short stay motel vibes. Heavy migrant presence in and around the hotel. Hotel is located in an isolated area of Long Island City, Queens. Felt very dark and quite frankly, unsafe. Granted we checked in at night. Wife and I checked out the same night.

The front desk is super helpful. The lady Christina (?) allowed us to checked in early after she found there was a room available-which was super important for us after driving 5 hours. The room was clean, but the noise was so loud, just beside the train track. Even horns in the middle of night… but the location is great, 15 mins to queensboro subway station

Booked the hotel stay as an emergency after I paid a different hotel stay and was turned away due to their overbooking. The gently at the front desk was very helpful in helping me book a last minute room on August 11th(on a Sunday night). Even the morning staff at the front desk was great. Overall....great customer service, very clean rooms, and very helpful staffs.

Stayed here due to a flight cancellation, hotel was 15 min drive to airport and affordable. Everything was great, clean and friendly staff also lots of affordable snacks are offered on the first floor. My only complaint is the area can look a little sketchy and unsafe (not sure if it actually is) but tons of nice food spots and even a target just about a 15 min walk.

Staff not very welcoming and room was ugly though clean. Little attention to some details like bathroom door has an agressive spring so you cant have it open, clothes hanging was above a shelf making clothes hang badly and corridor to room door felt like well, a factory. Also ground floor rooms need extra effort to not feel like a machine store room that got converted.

I went with my Fiancé and the bathroom had mold on the ceiling and tiles, we found blood spots on the back of the pillow covers and they ended up double charging me and it’s like pulling teeth to get a refund for my double charge, I would give them negative stars if I could. Bottom line it’s dirty and customer service is terrible. I’d stay away

I have been coming to the Feather Factory for three years. Luis the manager provides excellent consistent customer service and the housekeeping staff, gentleman from Mali is always smiling and asking if he can make our stay better or do we need anything to please ask. Customer is always first at this hotel. My only concern was the men’s shelter that recently opened up on the opposite corner of the hotel. That was dissatisfying as the men are outside playing music, working out, and grilling on the sidewalk. Traveling with small children did not allow us to walk in the vicinity anymore on this trip.

I stayed at this hotel with my family and overall had a good experience, giving it 4 stars. The check-in process took longer than expected despite an early request, but the cleanliness and amenities were satisfactory. The food options were limited, although there is a convenient snack shop at the reception. The hotel's prime location is a plus, and while there is paid parking at the front, free parking can be found nearby.
