The location for our quick trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame was wonderful! The innkeeper’s insights on free parking spots and places to eat was helpful.
The accommodations were clean but dated. Pictures and information about the Inn’s history were displayed on the main level of the building and added to its character.

It is a familiar setting having stayed at the Tunnicliff a number of times over the years. The location is excellent - a short walk to the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
The room temperature was inconsistent. A little chilly the first night.

There was no breakfast! When we booked it said that we had breakfast included. We took this place as an anniversary present to ourselves and it was very disappointing!
The lighting in the room was not good for reading. You couldn’t sit in a chair to read or on the bed. The shower was a small square where the shower head was not adjustable. It hit me in the face and I am 5’5”! The room was the add on to the old hotel, so there were many different levels, in our room! On our experience, I would not recommend this place!

The home type setting, staff when present was great. Wanted to ask about future bookings.
Staff wasn't present at times but that was fine. However would definitely stay again. Tom was very accommodating.

The location is perfect. Right in town, easy to walk to everything.
The Inn has not updated its account on Booking or other travel sites for some time apparently, so you get the impression there is breakfast included with your room rate, for example. It used to be pre-COVID according to the manager, but that has now changed. This inn could be great, but is suffering from neglect probably due to COVID pressures. We did not have a problem climbing stairs, but if you do this would not work for you as there is no elevator. The shower is also very tight, so if your are a bigger/taller person I think you would find it challenging to shower.

The location was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
There was nothing I didn’t like. It was definitely an older building with older style rooms.

location was the draw. i had stayed there previously

As long as you are not fussy about the very dated interior, the location is great and our room was comfortable. Radiators are a bit noisy and the retrofitted electric and plumbing is a bit awkward, but all in all we liked it and would stay again.

They gave me a free upgrade to a room with a king-sized bed, even though I did not request it. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was directly behind the hotel, so it was a 10 ft walk to get inside. The hotel is an old building with a historic style in the center of downtown Cooperstown, and even though the interior areas outside of the room appear a bit dingy, the hotel has a comfortable, homey feel. The manager and staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful. As I drove up to the hotel, I saw Tom (manager or owner?) waiting for me outside in front of the hotel in the freezing, snowy weather, just to guide me to where I should park. What a great first impression! The location could not be better, being in the center of downtown Cooperstown.
The only negative I have about my stay at the Tunnicliff Inn is that the shower is extremely small. I am an average size guy, and I only had a few inches between my shoulders and the shower walls. I needed to crouch down to wash my lower legs and feet because there was not enough space to bend over. It was not a big inconvenience for me, but if you are a large person, it could be a very unpleasant bathing experience for you. I do not know if the other rooms have the same size shower.

The location is excellent - with quick walking distance to Main Street, cafes and restaurants, marina, and of course, the Baseball Hall of Fame. Easy access to the trolley to take us to the other museums in town. Very clean B and B and helpful manager.

The location was excellent.
The quality was not there for the price. The commode seat was loose. The TV didn’t work. Furnishings were beyond tired. There was littleeffort shown to invest in the property.

Quaint room in a very old, historic Ibuilding. Great location right in the middle of Cooperstown and all its activities.
Dragging my suitcase up 2 flights of stairs.

The front desk person was very informative, and very sweet. I truly enjoyed staying there and I will probably stay there again!

Great location with easy access to everything. Staff was able to upgrade our reservation, which was appreciated. Building is older and very historical.
Online reviews mentioned an online breakfast facility. This is NOT true; however, this is not a problem at all as you can easily walk to a number of restaurants.

We try to stay at locally owned Historic Inns when we travel. this Inn was well located and was historic. It was clean and the bed and bedding was adequate.
The room was very hot without a thermostat and required the A/C to be activated in order to offset the heat. All the amenities like soaps, shampoos were cheap. Bathroom and shower was very small. TV was difficult to operate, The price was very high as compared to competition and the room was said to be an upgrade but was disappointing. There was no breakfast or even coffee in the morning. As we only stayed one night it did not matter but we were told that the beds were not made or the room was not cleaned on a daily basis. We were told that it was to be our safe space. If the price was lower I would say Ok but they are charging a premium price. I would not recommend.

Location was great. Room size was good
Very dated. Thick carpet was stained and musty smell on it and all the bedding. The bathroom was tiny with very small shower stall. Flooring clearly had weak, spongy areas. The building is not secure; it is open 24/7

Location was perfect. Parked at the Inn and was able to walk around the main streets. The room I was assigned was upgrades to a first floor king size very comfortable room. Very quiet, not the usual chain hotel. Yes, could have included coffee, but coffee shop across the street is very convenient and opens at 6:30, I’m good!
No coffee maker
