the room did not look like the web site picture. sparse furniture- nowhere to put clothing,
lukewarm water, no staff on site for the 2 days. I felt unsafe- I was the only person staying there. Breakfast was an envelope of oatmeal. grounds were in bad shape. Spiders in room.
No hangars in closet very small TV. The Inn as advertised does not exist. I chose the room with 4 poster bed and jet tub when I booked. Bed was King size but had no spread so box springs in full view. Worst experience I have ever had. I would require compensation for the high cost over $400.00. Not sure I can trust your descriptions again.
staff on site, furniture in room , hot water, breakfast as advertised, accommodation worthy of the high price - see description above.

Breakfast was ok, but would like hot served breakfast better. It was quiet and in a nice location. Nice beach.
Facilities need some replacements, maintenance. Toilets ran all night disturbing sleep a bit, carpet in stairway needs replacement, curtain track in room are worn and hard to close. More chairs on beach are needed. There was only two.

the bed is comfy, view is great
Inn is not as it is shown. we did not receive the same room we booked. no staff on site. "balcony" was dirty with 1 chair that connected to a shared upstairs patio. Room had 1 chair, 3 light did not work, "garden" was dead nothing living, grounds were not taken care of, the "beach access" is not easy or well kept.

Once we were able to get down to the beach it was nice to sit and read and walk along the beach
The Inn definitely did not meet our expectations. It was very hot in the room, no air conditioning and only one fan. We actually went and purchased a second fan since there was no staff to ask for another one. The check in process was definitely not expected, with no staff there waiting for us. It didn't seem very secure. It had the vibe of an AirBnB, not an Inn. The only time we saw a staff member was during breakfast set up and then they were gone as soon as they arrived. We were disappointed in the upkeep of the grounds, everything seemed overgrown and unmaintained. There was an overgrown shrub/bush that nearly blocked our view of the water. The pictures that we saw online at at the Inn's website did not match what was actually observed on site. Also, the "steps" to get to the beach were a bit treacherous.

The breakfast was fine, the room was ok except for the large spider.
A small fridge would be nice, the hot water took forever, so long we didn't think we had any, the bed was really small, also we switched rooms with my son Timothy Crawford the reason is the stairs to our room were so steep and I'm on oxygen, there should have been an elevator, also I do believe I asked how the parking was, I have difficulty with elevated driveways they should have mentioned the steep stairs. Also you never see any staff. I also will add the pictures posted of the Inn DID NOT MATCH the actual rooms, the whole place really seemed in disrepair, the the money I expected something much better not to mention that very large black spider!

Loved sitting on the patio with a glass of wine, watching a whale and the sunset and the birds. Loved the hot tub! Staff was very good! The variety of breakfast items was great. Coffee was good.
The breakfast items, though great variety, could have been better quality, though in the time of Covid it's tough to maintain an inventory of fresh food. And the variety made up for it. The room was typical hotel room thought the bed was very nice, nice sheets and pillows.

What a beautiful view, and convenient for my travels around the island.
The only issue was the ice machine was broken, but Barbara was very accommodating, by making other arrangements.

the view is amazing. it was clean enough
there was no staff. it was eerie. you check-in alone, people can walk around the building with no management. I didn’t feel safe at all (flimsy doors / locks). Breakfast was just basic grocery items, no hot foods. Someone puts the food out but there’s no staff around or to be seen. Furniture is old & dated. Overall a poor stay, I wouldn’t recommend.

Very quaint and quiet. We may have been the only ones there.
Since there was no staff present and we didn't see any other people, it was pretty bizarre. It almost felt like we were invading a private property. There was no cleaning of the room. The continental breakfast was nice.

location was beautiful
felt like our coming was an afterthought, nothing stated welcome..., I read all the lovely reviews and was so excited, we even decided to pay more to stay here, I am hopeful that we can come back and have it be better the second go around...

The view was amazing. It was very quiet and the common areas were very clean.
Our room could have been cleaner. It looked like the vacuuming was missed. Also, the bistro was closed. It was also hard to find water etc as staffing was.limited due to Covid protocols.
Unfortunately Booking.com did not have an accurate picture of the room we stayed in so that was misleading. I thought I'd booked a different room than I had.

The view was almost all blocked by overgrown bushes. The view was very important and when we saw it we asked to cancel. We were texted that our reservations would be canceled.

The furniture in our room was very dated. No air conditioning, room was quite warm. Breakfast was just about nil, offering only limited continental. Very disappointing
No air conditioning in our room. Furniture very dated and used. Poor breakfast

The location was awesome, our sliding door view and patio view was amazing. We had a hot tub in our room, which was a plus. Our room was very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast, we had bagels with cream cheese and salmon and a nice assortment of fresh fruits and coffee.
We didn't dislike anything. It was a very nice getaway and we really enjoyed everything about our stay. We would recommend it to others.

Breakfast was good despite the pandemic. I bet would be better if no pandemic existed. Bottled water available all the time, chips, etc also available all the time.
We were on the second floor. Hubby has a bad knee and had trouble going up the staircase.

The Inn was very clean, yet dated. But the views from upstairs balcony made up for any dated decor! The rooms was spacious and the bed was very comfortable! The views were spectacular. The self check-in was easy and we never saw our hosts.
Couldn’t really access the beach with directions given without trespassing (or so it seemed).

Excellent host, beautiful location, very good breakfast.
The room was smaller than I thought it would be, but not a huge deal.

It was clean, on the water, and a great breakfast. It was perfect for the two of us! Loved hearing the waves at night.
No A/C.

I really liked the grounds, and walking down to the beach, really has a lot to offer! The breakfast was exceptionable! Both mornings, really surprised me and was just perfectly delicious!

The staff was wonderful and made us very comfortable. The weather wasn't great so we weren't able to enjoy the beach or any other oudoor activities. We would like to try it again when the weather is nicer.
We wanted an outside hot tub but the pipes got frozen and so we had to take a different room. I think we should have been given a discount for our inconvience.
