Absolutely horrible

Nothing

No staff onsite location felt unsafe,room filthy,when something was needed it was at the staff convenience which was blocks away. We had to accommodate them and their schedule. Nothing refilled

Cute quite location

Although I didn't actually meet any staff they did respond to emails quickly and provide instructions clearly about self check in and out. I was impressed there was a smart TV although had to use my own log ins. Ample parking. Quite location. Cute building

There were some repairs done in the bathroom and a note on a wall telling me not to use the shower for one day as they had put new calking around the outside. Because of this I'm not sure the bathroom had been cleaned, the mirror hasn't been wiped down and the shower glass was thick with grim. They might have forgotten to go back to the room once the repairs had been done I'm not sure. All the curtains were ripped and need to be replaced. The bed sheets have bleech stains on.

Nice historic stay

Nice historic inn next to the beach. Our bamboo room had a spacious living area and had ocean view. They also provide you with all the necessities for a beach visit. Location was good, next to the road up to waimea canyon. Would definitely recommend this place for a night or two.

The restaurants nearby were closed after 5 or closed all day when we were there (sunday and monday). At the inn everything was nice except that some utilities like the fan and fridge were a bit too much outdated.

Great location for a real taste of Kaua'i country.

Bed was comfortable and the large shower room was excellent. Water was cold and hot when we needed it. Location was perfect for Waimea canyon and West Kaua'i in general.

AC unit was installed in a window that wasn't exactly sealed, so it ran constantly and we ended up being warm until the middle of the night when we were really comfortable. Since the windows weren't traditional and didn't shut completely, It appears roaches periodically got inside through them. The small mini fridge was pretty old and had lots of solid ice built up in it. The noise it made was pretty annoying as well, but we spent our days hiking or swimming, so we were pretty tired.

We had a good nights sleep every night in an older quaint home made into a vacation accommodation.

Quaint town, nice restaurant within walking distance, good shopping. Lodging was in an older establishment and has lots of character especially for those that like history and older structures. Very comfortable bed and large rooms.

The airbnb was really nice, we absolutely enjoyed our stay. It looked nice, there were beachtowels and other beachsupplies we could take, sunscreen and aftersun.

Well located but nothing to stay longer than a night

Spacey apartments, nicely located close to the beach and the canyon.

Very old AC, extremely loud, impossible to sleep while it's on. Rooms are not well equipped at all, a small (loud) fridge, two cups, glasses, that's pretty much it. No dishes or even a knife. Shower in the whirlpool is also very uncomfortable and the rooms were not exactly clean (black feet after running around inside only). Add to all of that the hefty price tag.

The location was great, as restaurants and stores were within walking distance. The bed was also very comfortable.

I did not like our shower. There was no separation between the toilet and shower. It would have been nice to know about that before booking the room. Also, the air conditioner only made the bathroom cold. The room was hot, even with the fan on.

Superb

Roomie, location great particularly for hiking Waimea, close to groceries and nice steakhouse across street. Comfortably clean.

Jacuzzi tub drain unfinished but for showering was fine. Bathroom light needed cleaning (black with dead bugs inside light cover).

A quiet old Hawaii experience away from tourists. Good value.

Style of the house. Having a living room. Proximity to beach and town.

Trashcan in the parking lot was overflowing all 8 days of our stay. Not attractive as the trash blew around the property.

Convenient location, quaint room, could use a lot more cleaning but still able to stay there

location, comfortable bed

our room smelled like throw up the whole week, even after we had it cleaned, the shades were broken- we reported it the first day and they were never fixed- hard to sleep with lights in your eyes

Great location Great bed and pillow Great water pressure

Mega ants, we sprayed and sprayed. More ice build up in fridge than fridge. I defrosted it. No attention to detail, bedspread on upside-down , curtains backwards and full of dust, furniture broken and VERY uncomfortable, I taped it together, spa tub creepy disgusting.

Room was poorly lit, and blinds didn’t work. Slats couldn’t be adjusted on either set. One set couldn’t be raised and lowered.

A huge disappointment

No breakfast offered.

The Inn needs a lot of work--flaws too numerous to list. Our room was on the first floor and did not have a sitting room. And we were kept awake by noise from room above us. Every foot step, dropped item, flushed toilet, shower. It was horrible.

Very disappointing and we are are in dispute with the accommodation about compensation /refund

Very little because the standard of the accommodation and fittings was so poor

The bathroom and shower badly needed refurbishment, the electrical sockets were broken and possibly dangerous, pictures had been removed from walls leaving only nails, window frames were crumbling. Manager would not meet us to discuss it.

Very bad attention and lack of promised facilites

The size of the room, and the bed.

Personnel atention is quite defficient. No answer to our messages, either before or after reaching the place Refrigerator didn't work and therefore we lost part of the food. We were charged 50dollars more than what booking stated, and still waiting for an explanation. Jacuzzi didn't work and It was very unconfortablee to use as a shower.

Perfect location, nice, big rooms!

I was staying in the Bananaroom, which was huge! As it has an overall-rating of 7.5, I wasn’t expecting much, but fortunately got surprised in a very good way! the two rooms were clean, very comfortable und nicely decorated. I enjoyed my stay very much and the location is perfect - especially for visiting Waimea Canyon and Koke’e park!

The bathroom is huge, the bathtub on the other hand a bit outdated.

An adorable room close to Waimea Canyon.

The location was fantastic - close to local grocery stores and businesses. Very quick drive up to Waimea Canyon. Carol was an excellent host. She helped accommodate early baggage drop-off and the check-in/check-out process was very easy. The room was a good size for a couple and the bed was really comfortable.

Very good

Location was good. Bed was comfy. I liked the mini fridge in the room. The microwave worked fine. I loved how close it was to the Waimea Canyon and the Na Pali coast. The restaurants close by were good but had limited hours.

WINDOW A/C wasn't strong enough. Kleenex and paper towels in the room would have been a nice touch.

Relaxing but fill soap dispenser next time!

Water in soap dispenser with only tiny bit of soap- had to purchase some.

Staff should check for trash - some debris on stairway (kleenex etc.). I realize staff is on limited hours but it was not nice to view trash inside house.
