The location was good. The property manager was responsive to questions. The house was spacious and well-lit. The living room furniture was fairly comfortable.
The second-floor tub was unusable due to a leak and the shower began leaking badly (through the floor).
Also, my bed was so soft it was difficult to sleep. I had trouble with the front door deadbolt. The knob spun around and did not engage. I didn't notice a lack of cleanliness anywhere but the other guests said they noticed some areas not as well attended to as they expected. I appreciated the trash can on the third floor.

Lovely, recently renovated brownstone. Spacious. We each had our own bedroom. Pleasant living room, dining area and kitchen. Excellent for relaxing after a day of touring. Great location. We actually walked to the White House. Everything is relatively nearby. We used Uber a good bit, also. Quiet neighborhood. Restaurants a few blocks away.
Although the kitchen is lovely, it could have been better supplied. It was obvious no one had taken the time to inventory and straighten up things like dishes, cooking utensils, spices, etc.

Clean, spacious, great for families, comfortable.
Only complaint is, the seats for the kitchen counter were too short. But dining table was close by.

Plenty of space for our group including many sleeping options.
Window coverings to block light on sunny side would help late sleepers.

I loved everything about this house. It was super cozy and welcoming. There’s plenty of space to enjoy each other and relax. I also appreciated that there was a TVs in most if not in every room. Relaxing out door space- I enjoyed my coffee out patio in the mornings and a glass a wine out there in the evenings, lol!! It was great. Also, the owners have done a fantastic job at adding guides and signs to help you to navigate the home and surroundings areas.
Our daughter is just starting her college career at Howard University so we’ll likely visit DC often and when we do Classy Victorian Brownstone will be our first choice. It’s super close to the campus, restaurants, bars and outside events. 10/10- highly recommend!!!

Loved the property and the neighborhood. My kids loved having their own space and TVs. The house was perfectly clean and had plenty of supplies. The parking garage nearby is located above a grocery store and cute shopping district.
The off site parking was a little bit of a walk but with the gorgeous weather and great neighborhood it wasn’t a bad thing.

Very clean, nicely decorated, perfect location. Plenty of rooms and space. If I come to Washington, definitely will rent again. The Manager is very helpful and responsive. I strongly recommend.

Beautiful home, even better than the pictures. Incredibly spacious and well stocked for a group stay.

Lots of space. Perfect for a family trip.
The steps are a little bit steep but that’s just how these buildings are made.

Lois was great! House was beautiful, clean and beds were comfortable. Good location with friendly neighbors.
Floors and stairs were polished and there is a no shoe policy. Stairs are steep and staircases long. Not ideal for older guests. Second floor second bedroom had access to a bathroom only through the master bedroom. Although minor, each bathroom had liquid hand soap, hand lotion, toilet paper, linens and a hairdryer. Nothing else. No tissues, napkins or paper towels in the house.

it was a great location, 4 blocks from lots including the green metro line. the manager was great! she gave us all types of tips and answered immediately when we called. a definite highlight to stay in a Brownstone!
I just wasn’t ready for the steps! otherwise it was great!

Location was very convenient to drugstore and Target and a subway station. Also, easy walking distance to Ben's Chili Bowl. Lots of bedrooms; comfortable couches.
A few pieces of furniture were a little delicate. Bathroom sink on the top floor was loose.

The location is amazing. I’d recommend not having a car because parking is non existent. It’s also clean and for the area a great value.
The owner is a bit intense. Very strict about noise and the amount of guests. Also requires a 400 security deposit. The layout of the home is also a bit odd. It’s 4 levels and has numerous rooms however the bathrooms are scattered and there are more half baths than full baths.

The house was gorgeous and spacious. We met my sister and her family, ten people in all. Everybody had their own bed and had space to move about. We were all able to sit around the table and eat and play games. We were able to visit the sites easily and not have long to travel.
Having to pay for parking and walking 4 blocks to get to the parking lot. You may want to plan to use Uber/taxi/subway for travel as parking everywhere is less than optimal.

Clean, roomy and excellent location. Would definitely stay again.
Kitchen sink and master bath tub needs to be fixed. Difficult parking (four blocks away).
