A wonderful location, great for families with children or for a family reunion.

The location was amazing! Using the kayaks and paddle boards was really fun. Our room was a good size

There were a couple of maintenance issues that could be addressed like a missing screen and the bathroom door didn’t quite close.

Affordable beach motel with great amenities

The beach area was beautiful -- lots of activities for any family. The bar was really nice. Food was very good & drinks were done well. Beds comfortable. Staff was great, especially Ada, a waitress.

I would describe the rooms as "rustic". Almost vintage! The place was very clean. Our first impression was "sketchy", but we ended up really liking our stay.

I’d definitely visit again!

Privately owned, nice size rooms, clean, bathroom remodeled, dog-friendly, friendly/welcoming staff, beach, water activities, resort fire pit, quiet location. With so many available outdoor amenities, I’d like to visit again in the warmer months.

The food (Friday night fish fry) ordered from the bar at the resort was not good. Was charged double the price listed in the room binder/info, didn’t seem freshly made, no sides/condiments (tarter sauce/coleslaw/bread…). While the resort is in a quiet location it does take time to get to the more touristy areas of Door County (which I also feel can be a positive). Considering the food experience, plan meals/snacks accordingly.

Was ok for one nite.

Large available room. Newer bathroom. Friendly service. We got a new TV becouse ours didn't work. Love the waterfront! Cute baby mink living in rocks by pier.

Must have been a smoking room...smell knocked me over when we walked in. Opened both windows, put fan on high. Really could use update on room. Very old carpet and couch furnishings. Needed More blankets since temperature dropped.

pet friendly !! beautiful view !! very clean !! you can tell cleaning staff works hard to keep rooms as nice as possible .

the on site restaurant has great food ; however when you walk in the staff plays “not it “ to greet you .. even for picking up a order .

Enjoyed our stay!

I was told there was no breakfast but we received a great recommendation from the staff. We enjoyed the property unfortunately the weather did not behave but it looks like a great place to enjoy when it is sunny! We enjoyed the resort and most likely will return.

Just what I was looking for on the North side of Sturgeon Bay.

Location is the ace in the hole for this resort. No traffic noises. Pontoon rentals from a local service that has other locations in the area. Plenty of activities right in the front yard. Outdoor furniture seems nearly new! Fishboil several nights a week!

Appears to have a lot of overall building improvements recently, but the parking lot could benefit from some additional blacktop. Old school keys used for the rooms. Some updating to the motel doors would be welcomed.

Loved it! We will be back.

The staff was super friendly and very attentive to our needs. The room had plenty of space and nice bathroom too. There were plenty of things to do there or more within a quick drive. The restaurant had good food too.

Please get better kayaks for the guests to use. Those yellow ones were uncomfortable to sit in.

It had a boat launch, and some day docking.

You had to pull your boat out of the water overnight.

Refrigerator freezer was frosted up but staff froze our fish in their freezers. awesome of them to do that!!

Overall an enjoyable stay.

Love the restaurant and bar. Excellent food and drinks. Good service. Love the front desk people. VERY friendly and accommodating. Love the fish boil. The sand volleyball court was also great. I Also like the location.

There was a terrible smell in the room making it difficult to really enjoy the experience. We tried to cover it up with air fresheners but it just needs updating with paint and new carpet.
