Great villa, great beaches, loads of things to do and see. Judy was super helpful and responsive. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at this villa. The villa itself is located on an absolutely gorgeous property, with amazing views from basically everywhere. Plenty of space for 7 of us (5 adults, 2 kids). It's a short drive to the village of Kalo Nero, which has a beautiful rocky beach with big waves that our kids (11-almost-12 and 14) loved playing in. Other sandier beaches are a quick drive away. There is plenty to see in under an hour's drive from the villa, or within 1.5 hrs one-way if you are up for a longer drive in this gorgeous part of Greece. My only regret is that 4-full days wasn't quite enough time to see and do everything we wanted to do! Judy was so helpful and informative with recommendations and answers to questions. She's an excellent host and greatly enhanced our experience. Would definitely return!

The owners were fantastic they could not do enough for you if you wanted gave you a piece of mind. The property and amenities were wonderful! Our stay was truly amazing! We had a large group of 13, ranging from young children to seniors and the villa was perfect. The location was great - lots of activities to enjoy!

Great Place to relax
We really love the villa, you drive up through the Olive groves to a raised site where you can see the sea in the distance, lovely sunsets.
The villa had everything we needed and is only a 15 min drive to the supermarkets and Kyparissia is a great town.
Judy was amazing, so incredibly helpful and thoughtful, she really wants you to enjoy your stay.

We stayed at Judy’s house over a week in the start of summer. Judy was a great host and very responsive. The house was very well taken care of and spacious with all the necessary amenities. As we were there during a heatwave the fans in the bedrooms were not enough to keep the rooms cool but other than that everything was great!

Beautiful villa. We really enjoyed the 17 days in Kalo Nero and the villa. It has a wonderful view and offered everything we needed. The owner (Judy) was very nice and helpful.
Great Holidays!

Amazing holiday.
The house is beautiful and every detail has been thought through. Our kids loved exploring around the gardens and the pool was a massive hit, it was hard to get them out.
It is located superbly on small hill amongst olive groves and short distance from friendly town with beautiful beach.
It is also perfectly located to make visits to Olympia, Messene, Methoni all of which were so much more than we'd expected. If your wildlife lovers you'll love it too and our highlight was watching baby turtles hatch on the beach.
Judy was so helpful and attentive too. She recommended local places to visit like a tomb with caves near by which you could wander through away from other tourists. Couldn't recommended this highly enough.

Beautiful Villa in cozy seaside town
We (7 adults and 3 children) had a great stay in this nice Villa 5 minutes from Kalo Nero a quiet town on the West coast with some lovely seaside restaurants. Great property owner, very responsive and helpful, and good suggestions for local restaurants. Nicely located to all major sites on the west coast. Bring mattress covers as beds are more suited for hard mattress sleepers (we found hard mattresses throughout Greece) and there are quite a few dogs in the neighborhood. We would love to come back again.
Great job Judy.

Amazing!
Incredible Villa! Amazing view! Description and photos of the house are absolutely accurate. Clean and sunny, all facilities were available either for a long or short stay. The house is fantastic for large families or group of friends and i would recommend it for both summer and winter vacation. Child friendly with a separate playroom and toys it gave us the privacy and piece of mind we wanted while it excited our children.

Excellent time with family
We booked the villa for 2 nights, to host a family reunion of 4 families, all with kids. The place was AMAZING! We found it to be even better than we expected. The common area on the ground floor was enormous, with 2 living rooms, a huge dining room, and a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen. Outside, there was a beautiful pool area (too cold to swim in November, but nice to look at), a back porch with great view and a big table that could sit 10 people, as well as a BBQ, which we of course used.
On the basement, there was a huge play-room that could also sleep 7 kids ages 5-10, a ton of toys and enough space for a table-tennis table.
On the first floor, there were 4 double-bed bedrooms and a big veranda that span from side to side.
The entire property was designed with great taste and made us feel like home, not just staying at a rental house. It was clean and tidy. We also cooked 4 meals inside the villa and found all we needed for those.
Overall, we would highly recommend the property and will surely consider returning at a later date.

A Lovely Villa
A very pleasant stay in Judy's beautifully sited villa overlooking the sea

Well equipped comfortable villa with great views of mountains and sea.
The Villa is comfortable and well equipped inside and out. Multiple seating areas and a full kitchen. 3 shower rooms, while basic are clean and do the job fine. Downstairs is air conditioned and the upstairs rooms have tower fans. We suffered a bit from the vagaries of Greek electrics but only for one (very hot!) night. Judy is a great host, responds very quickly to contact and does her best to help. When our hire car key stopped working she went and bought a replacement battery for us in Kyparissia! The villas location is great. 10 minutes drive from the beach and multiple tavernas, 20 minutes from Kyparissia and easy trips to Ancient Olympia and other sites. A beautiful unspoilt and friendly part of Greece. The only negative were the local dogs which are not restrained and prevented runs from the villa. That aside, we would warmly recommend Kalo Nero and Judy’s villa unreservedly.
4.8
Beautiful, spacious villa; great pool, large enough for our family of 10.
Property was spacious, beautiful, and well kept. Lots of books and movies, loved the ping pong table; had several great BBQs in the large grill. It was just a 10 minute driving to the beach. Some days we were happy just to hang out all day. Villa is much lovelier than in the photos.
The Property Host Judy went above and beyond for us. We had family joining us; they had flight delays and then delays coming from Athens due to the wild fires. Judy helped us at midnight to find a driver in Athens to bring them to the villa in the morning, and to find emergency accommodations in Athens overnight. She provided us with lots of information about local sites, things to do, and local businesses. She spoke excellent English (she's from UK) and was fluent in Greek; introduced us to the local grocer and butcher. She took good care of us. Thanks Judy for all your help!
Cons: Wifi was spotty; forced me to disconnect and enjoy my vacation.

Unbelievable...Unforgettable “The Best Trip We Evers Took”
Judy was unbelievable and her property was truly serene!!! We couldn’t have asked for more! The locals treated us like family! I highly recommend visiting and renting this beautiful property! We will be sure to return!

Fabulous Villa
This villa is absolutely stunning and perfectly designed. The view out of the main window in the morning is beautiful and you can watch the sun set whilst sitting on the verandah in the evening. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and there is an outdoor oven and BBQ. The decor is stunning and all the bedrooms have a beautiful view. The pool gets the sun all day. The local restaurants are very cheap and the food is excellent. There are 2 big supermarkets within a 10 minute drive. The owner of the villa Judy is lovely. She was there when we arrived and showed us everything we needed and gave us lots of ideas about where to go. Judy also went above and beyond the call of duty when one of our party was bitten by a spider - she drove us to the hospital and luckily is fluent in Greek, so she ensured we were seen quickly. We're already planning a return trip next year!

Awesome!
Our stay was awesome. The villa, its location and Judy our host, were all just perfect!
Would recommend highly and will definitely return if the oppurtunity presents itself!

A fantastic place to be! !!
We as a family of 5 with 2 other friends absolutely loved Kalo Nero. Very well kitted out with everything we needed for our stay. Very well located for day trips throughout the Peloponese region. Judy is a great hostess and was very helpful.

Peaceful and well appointed hill top, rural villa
Very homely but also stylish and light and modern. A great space. Everything was in very good order and well appointed including playroom and cat both kept our 8yr old truly happy.
There are a few dogs around who bark at nighr, but ear plus sorted that out!
We visited the Temple of Apollo and Neda...well worth the visit, although along and windy drive but must be done.
Local, beaches are lovely and wild...the beach to the left of Kalo Nero in the cove we found to be the best. Good eating out by the castle st Kyparissia too.
A lovely natural area and good home to base yourself from. Judy the owner ver helpful and friiendly.

Wonderful location, superb villa!
The villa is very spacious, well equipped and ideal for a large family gathering of varying ages such as ours.
The panoramic views are stunning with mountains, the sea in the distance and lovely open countryside.
Listening to the jackals, toads, owls and star gazing in the evening was wonderful!
The villa is ideally placed for visiting the local Kalo Nero tavernas and beach although we preferred Elea beach with a delightful taverna, 10/15 minutes to the north.
Visited the waterfalls at Neda - the drive down is not for the faint hearted though or the walk so be warned! The drive through the Neda Valley was lovely though so definitely worth it.
Well placed for visiting other places such as Gialova, Pylos and the coast on the east side such as Petalides, Kalamaki and Chrani, although these are further afield of course.
Judy was a brilliant host, very helpful and there if needed!

Great design . Ideal for kids.
Really lovely home with a great host.

Great place
We had a great stay in the beginning of October. Two families with kids. The House is even better than on the photos, and the hosts were very friendly, kind and service minded. Beautiful sunset view and a very tranquil environment, with olive trenes and nice paths for running. At night some of the dogs in the area were barking, and they kept some in our party a bit sleepless at night. But again, what is better than sleeping it out at beautiful beaches the day after, and we could enjoy them all almost by ourselves! Thanks for a great stay, would love to return.

Absolutely Amazing!!
Our entire stay could not have been any better! The house is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need and more! Really light, spacious, amazing pizza oven, BBQ, football pitch, pool, table tennis! Kostas and Judy were also both lovely to deal with, really helpful and gave us great tips on what to do, including a boat trip, waterfalls, dinner recommendations, turtle survey etc. Could not recommend it anymore! Thank you for a brilliant holiday!!

Perfect Villa with stunning view. Awesome
Thank you Judy and Kostas for letting us stay in your beautiful home. You were both lovely hosts, very welcoming and friendly and full of top tips on places to visit / taverna's etc, and it was good to know you were only a text away should we have needed anything.
We had a fantastic holiday, the house had everything we needed from insect nets at the windows, fans in the bedrooms to a beautiful garden and pool and of course a lovely view of the sea and mountains. Everything was clean and well maintained and we all enjoyed pancakes for breakfast made with freshly laid eggs from the chickens , and homemade pizza coked in the wood oven.
We had several days out during our stay all within easy reach from the villa. South of the villa, just over an hours drive we visited Voidokillia beach, Gialova , Navarino Bay where we hired a boat for the day and saw the monuments around the bay and did some snorkelling.
North of the villa we visited the archeological site of Olympia then had lunch at the Bacchus restaurant ( to avoid the touristy olympia village ) good lunch and lovely views of the countryside ( about 5-10 minutes drive outside the olympic village on the main road east of olympia , in a place called Ancient Pissa). We then drove the Apollo Temple, which was slightly disappointing as it was covered in a large tent during restoration work, but the drive there was beautiful as long as you can cope with hair-pin bends on the mountain roads.
We also visit the site of ancient Messene, we went early to avoid the heat and then had delicious lunch in the family run taverna, Ithomi in village of Mavromati , which has good views of the ruins.
Shorter trips near the villa included some Tombs and a restored watermill, which does an excellent chocolate cake.
We were also lucky enough during our stay to see baby loggerhead turtles hatching at Kalo Nero beach. We spent about 30 minutes with the turtle protection group from about 10.30pm. Very informative and interesting , would loved to have spent longer and done the whole night survey but unfortunately we weren't allowed as they have had lots problems with people destroying nests etc. I hope to come back and volunteer properly one day.
We still had plenty of time to chill out at the villa and enjoy the pool and the beautiful sunsets. Kids were aged 14 and 16 and both had a really good holiday. We would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you once again. Tracy, Tim, Lily & Jack

This villa had everything, well planned and well equipped wonderful views and good location. It is perfect for a family or group holiday. It is near the beach and it is also possible to visit ancient sites like Olympia. The owners were nearby in case there were any problems (which there weren't) and were helpful with tips of where to visit. I would recommend the villa to anyone.

We have just returned from a weeks break at this villa and have had a fantastic time
The villa is very well equipped and in great condition
Judy and Kostas are excellent hosts
The views from the villa, terrace and pool are perfect and the BBQ was well used during our stay
Plenty of outdoor space for children to run around and explore securely and my daughter loved collecting the chicken eggs each day
I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this villa, with such a large property and grounds it would easily host a large group!
4.8
The owners were incredibly helpful without being intrusive. Wonderful indoor and outdoor living spaces. Very private, beautiful rural spot yet 4 minutes in car from shops, fabulous beach etc. A very good location for exploring the Peloponnese. Could not recommend it more.

This lovely villa had everything we needed and more. It was rather naughty to book such a large villa for two but it was great to have space and lots of different areas to relax in. The garden is full of interesting plants and the views of the mountains and sea are spectacular. We did go in the pool but it was rather bracing in April! Having three lovely hens was a new experience for us which we loved and Claire really enjoyed the eggs which were so yellow when cooked-stunning...and delicious! The house dogs and cats were very friendly and well behaved (we had said we wouldn't have the dogs but they had other ideas and were no trouble at all). Inside the house is fabulous, plenty of living and dining space with a great sound system (huge Wharfdale speakers) and extensive library! The kitchen is equally well equipped and everything functions well. All mod-cons include very responsive heating, dimable lighting and great hot showers. The master bedroom has a huge comfortable bed and lovely views from the balcony. This is one of the best (maybe even the best) villa that we have stayed in and we've been to a fair few.....the location is perfect...away from any crowds...although in April we certainly didn't see any and frequently had the beautiful beaches to ourselves. You need a car to get around and we enjoyed a trip to the lagoon and saw a wide range of bird-life, took long walks on the beach and went to see various Greek and Roman remains-Olympia is an easy journey....driving in the mountains is rather more interesting!
Kostas and his little daughter met us at the villa and gave us an expert tour of all the facilities and were happy to be contacted at any point during our stay if we needed anything. All in all a perfect holiday :)
4.8
Hired at the last minute to relax after a hectic year and a lightning tour of friends in Greece; could not have found a better spot - high up a slope giving panoramic views over the sea and mountains; amazing.
We own a holiday rental so we have a bit of experience and Judy and Kostas have got it spot on - beautifully but simply decorated, the vast (and I mean vast ) living area felt cosy with the different sitting/dining sitting/ kitchen and yet should swallow up a very big party. The terraces around the house and shaded sitting areas for the different times of day were perfectly arranged and the comfy chairs and loungers spot on. Three bathrooms were spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. Pool was great - not one for lengths but great to cool down and mess about in.
Temple of Apollo, Olympia half day trip away, the gigantic turtle beaches everywhere, and the seafront tavernas in Kalo Nero completed a brilliant holiday experience. Book it !
4.8
We had a vacation at Kalo Nero in August '15 with family and friends together with our 5-9 year old kids. Great thing is location - it's at the end of Peloponnese but due to the excellent highway - its really easy to reach from Athens (250km/ ~3h with a break). The Villa is relatively new and good quality nice/ interior building and it's really well maintained, clean and nice, located on a hill side overlooking the bay from one side and olive tree covered mountains on the other. It's sufficiently distant from neighbors so there are no buildings in front of marvelous views. Villa is fully equipped with everything a family would need for a stay. We mostly enjoyed our own prepared breakfasts on the terrace as the lunch snacks we took on the beach and dinners in tavernas nearby. But the kitchen is equipped for you to do any cooking you like. For the kids the best thing in villa is indeed the newly built pool that was really great. It's around 1.50m deep so also excellent four adults to jump in and spend itme in. It was actually difficult to convince kids to get out of the pool or the villa :)
2-3 minute drive down the hill gets you to the Kalo Nero where there are nice shops and minimarkets for fresh fruits, bakery etc. Little bit further away on the beach side there are also more truistic tavernas and hotels. Bigger shopping malls (e.g Lidl) is on the way to Kyparissia, ~ 5km I guess. There are are many nice beaches to choose in close proximity of Kalo Nero as well (5-10 minute drive). We liked the ones towards north most (less people). Between July and September, in the evenings there is a high chance to be able to see sea turtles hatching. If you want to experience this - talk to young people from volunteering organization (http://www.archelon.gr/eng/habitat_pelop_kyp.php?row=row3) - you notice them by special blue T-shirts. They are really helpful but you do need to be careful - not to get too close or disturb the turtles in any way. Anyhow - seeing a small sea turtle making it's way from nest to the sea was amazing experience for both kids and parents. From site seeing perspective - Ancient Olympia with its astonishing remains is also only around ~50km away so it was also a nice half a day trip for us. We also drove around the mountains close by just to see the small villages and especially the views. Last but not least - the owners Judy and Kostas are really nice and helpful and really care that you have a good vacation. 100% recommended.
4.8
From the very moment of enquiring about this villa and leaving it the owners Judy and Kostas's communication was second to none; they simply could not have been more helpful. They carried out research for us on boats, hiring a car etc ...
The property itself is situated on a hill, amongst the olive groves, overlooking a mountain, and I swear the house never has clouds over it as that mountain hugs any that come close! The mountain to one side, the olive groves at its feet, and the far reaching sea views give this villa the perfect situation. The view from the pool is spectacular, but that is only one view, there are multiple terraces - around the pool, the east terrace, the south terrace, and the roof terrace where you can watch the sun go down every evening.
The villa is spacious with open plan living, ample sofas and seating, large dining table and chairs inside and out. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are also spacious and comfortable, one with a very clean white ensuite. All windows are fitted with mosquito guards, allowing you to keep the doors open at night, and enjoy the breeze and not the bites. Air con was provided but we found not necessary as leaving the doors between the bathroom and the terrace open provided enough breeze to get a good nights sleep.
We opted to keep the animals onsite - the children loved looking after Xena the outdoor dog, the cats and the chickens.
The villa is situated close to Kalo Nero where you will find an abundance of tavernas close to the seafront, and one or two away from the seafront which are quite good. At the bottom of the dusty track and road that the villa is situated you will find a bakers that is open early and sells fresh bread. Kyprissia is close by, which is buzzing a little more and you will find several banks close to the square, pharmacy etc, and lots of restaurants and music.
A must is to meet the Turtle protection team early on the beach, and you might be lucky enough to see a loggerhead turtle hatch from one or more of the 1,700 nests on the beach, or attend a controlled excavation of a hatched nest.
All in all there is plenty to do, great food, plenty of history - but this amazing villa may just capture you and you might not want to venture much further than the boundary walls! It's a piece of heaven

A truly beautiful house, set back from the coast with an amazing view all around.
We stayed with a total of 8 family members and never once felt cramped in the house, and with the large dining / living area were able to meet at the end of the day to eat together.
Our party included two children who spent most of the day in the brand new pool, and we choose the option of having all the animals about, which was another huge bonus for the kids.
The hosts were also very helpful with local knowledge and invaluable when we had some issues with our rental car.
And again, it is a amazing house, I am very envious
