The bed was more comfortable than expected, and although we’re all technically in one big room, the individual space still felt like my own. Proximity to Union Station made it easy to get around the city, and down to Anaheim, and finally to the airport in the early morning.
The showers are fueled by hot water tanks; if the hot water has been used up, it will run luke-warm/cold for the rest of the morning. If you end up with a big personality in the hostel, there’s no real way to avoid them, as we’re all in one big room.

location
it was cold, the windows were constantly open, everywhere it stinks of marijuana, although they said that they did not smoke here. the doors to the toilet and shower are translucent, the shower is a complete mess, dirty. bed linen is not provided, towels for an additional fee of $ 5. the place resembles a hangar with beds for the homeless. moved to another place with the same price, where it is much better! do not recommend!

close to LA Union Station. Even there’s shuttle every 20-30min. Easy to find Podshare
There’s no bell. I had to yell in front of the door but no one answered for minutes at 9pm. But it was not big issue.

Power shower waterhead in small share bathroom.
No table clothes to clean up dirty dusty table. Rat running in TV room.
6.0
Comfort bed and blanket.
Toilet and shower shared room too mini.
7.0
Comfortable beds, overall clean space, small personal light in each bed
I had a great bed upstairs with some space and was able to hide by hanging coats on the rail, however if you have a bed downstairs you really don't have any personal space, in plain sight
When I arrived in the morning the code they gave me didn't work, I waited an hour in front of the door. We should be able to go in, just to drop our suitcase
It is not a classic hostel with a building and several rooms, it is a big apartment with the "service of reception" in the room, basically it is a big room with everything in it (reception, beds, kitchen), so it lacks separation and personal space (take a bed upstairs to have privacy)
Only 2 toilets and 2 showers, very small bathroom

Under some unfortunate circumstance, they are not willing to refund my accommodation. They didn’t provide any help.

Big bed
my facial cleansing was stolen

Close by freehand hotel which was more expensive. Shopping and dining are within walking distance. It is however on skid row so be careful at night. Happy they let me dye my hair and the host was very kind to me.
Nothing bad to say.

Location near where I was working
A lot of homeless around the building

there’s not privacy( there’s not any curtain for separating the beds). The location was really bad. homeless everywhere. if you are a girl traveling alone definitely it is not a good option for you.

Nice and arranging staff
The beds were comfy
Weird people living here (especially in the tv room), didnt feel safe or welcome at all, the toilets and bathroom were super dirty and the shower very complicated to use (only got burning water, couldnt use it).
They left the windows opened all night, it was noisy and cold.
Would not stay here again nor recommend it unfortunately.

Great location, close to Union Station and the L (Gold) line when reopened. Staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed and shared spaces.
Kitchen is a bit small for so many people at meal times. Toilet and Shower cubicles are very small, with not much space to dry off and change. No other private change spaces.

Repeat stay here at the DTLA podshare. I've also been to the Hollywood Los Feliz locations. Walking distance to LA Historic Park for the festival action. Super friendly staff
It can be somewhat hard to find for the uninitiated.
7.0
Nice position, easy to reach by bus. good beds with light and charger spot. the blanket was a bit too light.
the doors of toilet and showers were weird.

The matresses are comfortable and I loved the social aspect
The room was cold when I was there and from what I gather from other people, gets quite hot at other times, especially summer.
