Highly wonderful experience from every aspect.

Breakfast not included But Beth, our host, left breakfast food at our door to our surprise. The very lovely two -bedroom apartment was large enough to easily accommodate up to six people. Cleanliness throughout was evident and the peony fragrance was just another welcoming touch. The kitchen was set up with a Keurig , beautiful china and flatware and more and more. Indeed home away from home. Your stay at Artful will be worth the cost AND Artful is extremely close to the state's capital with its magnificent gold-leaf dome. This is a fabulous rustic jewel. OH! before I forget the sunset on the property will astound you. Also John, brother to Beth, kept us guided and he didn't have to. Our stay at Artful was excellence personified. Plan that trip to Montpelier and stay at Artful Lodging and Retreats. IT WILL WOW YOU!.

This capital city lacks taxi service, but Uber is available. This is beyond the host's control.

More like an air b and b than a hotel, ideal stay for a family arriving by car.

She left some boxes of cereals, canned soup, crackers, tea, Keuring coffee pads. Nice touch. Beautiful view.

Montpelier is a quaint Vermont town and the location is not bad. Coming by train and being car less, the somewhat strenuous walk to get downtown made me think the property would be more enjoyable with a car.

Excellent!

Great location, warm,cozy and historical home. Host was lovely. Took the time meet us. Had a great nights sleep. Comfortable beds and hot shower.

Quite undesirable and also quite a distance from the city core.

Nice sign out front

This was a first experience, very expensive first experience for 2 in our party and it was not a good one. Very poor reception; had to wait for owner and then she had to "sweep" before we could get in; extremely dirty; area of use not as promised; VERY VERY UNSAFE with the owner telling us that fire equipment had been disabled and only one exit in a very cluttered older home. The amenities were worn and poor at best.

Very comfortable stay with a wonderful host

We all really enjoyed our stay, the bed was more comfortable than our own bed at home. This property is quirky and full of charm, in a wonderful location.

Exceptional

We are planning to move to area. Host gave us in-depth information on schools, realtors and what life was like in town. Host was very responsive to all our questions. The apartment above the garage had beautiful sunlight streaming in all day and the snow scenes were wonderful.
