Jennifer was a great host

It was amazing. Located in the Judith Mountains it is a smaller lodge with excellent accommodations. Enjoy pine scented air and the beautiful scenery with a babbling brook and trails out the front door. Their manager was exceptional and had excellent communication skills. The deer grazed in the front yard. The kitchen was being remodeled and they still provided a delicious variety of choices for the continental breakfast. Thank you Jennifer.

We loved our stay, the room was so cute and very clean. We went in the winter but I bet it would have been even prettier had it been summertime so we could've enjoyed the property even more.
We didn't see that there was any breakfast and I'm not sure if we missed it but I wished we would have gotten some.

Only 2 couples staying. They put us next to each other. Other room was noisy until 4am. With noone else there why wouldnt you separate rooms???? We were not able to sleep. Thermostat doesn't work

Good, variety, fresh
I would like the window curtains on the glass door to be opened during the day to see the beautiful view.

It was in a beautiful setting of mountains and pine trees.
The weather dropped considerably and the room was very cold...the heat could not be turned on because of the type of heat they have. We were offered a space heater which was never brought to our room. This was an unusual drop in temp for a couple days but it made for an uncomfortable evening.

Setting
Staff were great
Last month we stayed and no hot water. This time no heat. I had ribs to eat and they were terrible. My wife had Sirloin Steak. Ordered it med-rare and it came well done. They knew that they were out of bread putting Friday night and they didn’t make any for Saturday. No staff in the morning for checking out. No activities or evening fire. Nothing nothing extra for atmosphere. There is so much you can do but don’t. Price too high for what you get. Probably won’t return.

Location was nice.
Had to drive on a gravel road for over 6-miles on a motorcycle to reach the lodge. Diner was bad. Took over 2 1/2 hours for diner and the meal was well over cooked. No air conditioning in the room. Room was very hot all night and very little lighting or storage in the room. Next to nothing for breakfast.

Did not have dinner the day we arrived so we had to drive back down into town.

The lodge was peaceful and quiet. The staff was friendly and available. If you’re not picky breakfast was good. Dinner was very good. Limited choices, but very good. We would go back. We enjoyed our stay.

It was situated near a city in the beautiful countryside. It was in the forest in low mountains. Easy directions to find.
Our room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable.

Beautiful scenery and beautiful property!
Might have been the weekend being Memorial Day but needed more staff to keep up.

We had a great time here! I loved the rustic log cabin feel, bed was very comfortable, restaurant was so delicious & the close proximity to beautiful trails was fantastic. They are literally right next to the property. There is a lovely laid back atmosphere, but with 5 star dining. I agree with the other reviewer who said this place is a gem, it truly is!
Also, worth mentioning is you'll be driving 15 min's on dirt roads to get there, we didn't mind but I wouldn't take my sports car. So just be aware of this!
I think the price is high for the room we stayed in. It was noisy bc we could hear every step from the room above us. This woke us up each night/early morning. They provided ear plugs, but it didn't drown the noise. However, I'm not sure much can be done about this, so if this is a concern for you make sure to book a top floor room.
The hot water supply could use improvement. Showering at a busy time, Sunday morning the day of Mother's Day brunch, expect a cool shower. Luke warm was all that either one of us could get.
