On Monday August 28 I followed the instructions for housekeeping by letting the receptionist know at 6:30am as I was leaving for work. She ask for my name and room number, I also informed her of a missing piece to the coffee machine. She spoke as if it would be all taken care of, but when I returned to my room from a long day at 5:30pm I noticed that my room hadn’t been touched at all. Furthering my disappointment I went and informed the front desk only to be told that there aren’t any housekeepers there. She wasn’t verbally rude but her body language and facial expressions showed frustration and irritation, including apologizing to the potential occupants that were next in line as I walked off as if I was causing confusion, which I wasn’t. She gave me a towel and a washcloth and I proceeded to my room. I’ve considered this to be one of my favorite hotels prior to this stay and I would like to not judge this establishment off of one unsatisfactory experience. But I would really like for someone there to acknowledge it and make it right

The staff and cleanliness of the room
Room was up front on the street side. Every night woke up with yelling and fighting going on below our window we were on the second floor rm 225.

It was fine. We were there for a game. A little further/skechier walk from stadium than expected. Clean room.
Nothing extraordinary. Felt a tad run-down. I paid $15 extra per person for breakfast thru Booking, only to be told by front desk that that covered a muffin in a fridge at the end of the counter, some lemon water or non-existent coffee. So we paid for the hotel breakfast, again, and it wasn't worth the 1st $15 we had paid. Food was good but very sparse. They only had 3 staff running restaurant so we waited 18minutes for 2 beers. Not sure if the breakfast issue was the fault of Booking.com or lack of knowledge by hotel staff. Not sure I'll use Booking, anymore.

Where do I begin? The hotel is beautiful on the inside but it is located in the sketchiest neighborhood I’ve ever been in! We LITERALLY saw two men passed out next to each other with needles hanging out of their arms. Every few feet was someone begging for money. We even saw a drug deal going down…and this was 8:30 in the morning!!! We felt very unsafe walking to and from the hotel but had no choice bc there is no attached hotel parking. They tell you they have valet parking but all it is is a parking garage around the corner that costs $40+.
They also have an automated phone system so calling beforehand to get info is impossible. I tried calling to find out the exact pet fee only to be told when we arrived that it was $150!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Every other hotel is $25-$35. Then they take an ADDITIONAL $150 security deposit….as if you’re moving in! And the noise in the hotel was unacceptable. There were slamming doors, loud conversations in the hallway, loud music playing, all until at least 3am.
And to add insult to injury, the water pressure of the shower felt like someone was spitting on you from a distance.
All-in-all, I would not recommend that anyone stay here, ESPECIALLY, families.

Friendly staff. Someone always at the desk.
Room cleaning was good but, they had to be asked to do our room. One day they were cleaning the room next to mine, I asked is my room next? They said no. We wanted to get ready to go to the ballpark. So I had to tell the front desk.

Room smelled like smoke, the air was broken and wouldn’t get cool, I spent $515 to stay there for 2 nights and only stayed there one of the nights because I couldn’t do it. I would like reimbursement. You can even check the cameras back if you don’t believe me that I only stayed there one night.

Clean room and really liked the Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom
The Tell Tale Restaurant. Waited 45 minutes at a table and nobody ever approached us. We ended up walking out and finding breakfast somewhere else. Also view from room was of a wall.

Breakfast was good, but service was extremely slow. They were definitely short staff. 2nd day it took 30 minutes before our order was even taken. Quite a few people walked out before their order was taken.

The room and hotel were very clean. Bed was comfortable
The restaurant/bar was not much of a restaurant/bar. The two people who we saw that worked in there only worked there for a short time so when asked questions, they didn’t know the answer. Stuff listed on the menu (a moderate portion of drinks) we’re unavailable. With that being said, the little food they did have was surprisingly delicious.
