My wife was with me.

This is a reworked farm shed. There was no welcome notebook with tips on how to work various items (emergency numbers, remotes, hot tub, dehumidifier, coffee maker, wifi, etc) or area facilities/attractions/stores. The website photos were a horrible misrepresentation and deceptive of the actual "chalet". The grounds and building exterior were poorly kept. The broken concrete driveway opened directly into the bedroom. The bed was marsh mellow soft. The "living room" furniture was old and very uncomfortable. It felt like sitting on a board. The kitchen tile counters were chipped and unfinished. Kitchen drawers only half opened, and utensils just dumped in basket. Trim work around the window air conditioners was missing. Electrical outlets missing cover plates. Tarnished and stained sink fixtures and soap scum in shower. Boards screwed to walls to cover holes. The very small bathroom has a weird step up from the rest of the floors. The bathroom sink had sulfur smell. The bathroom and kitchen sink were plumbed backwards so hot came out the cold side and vise versa. Mold in shower and bathroom baseboards. There were roaches and silverfish. The unit has a humidity and musty problem. They have a dehumidifier (no instructions) draining into a bucket. There are many "plug-in" air fresheners to mask the problem. Chemicals in hot tub way too strong. The grill cover was torn up and the old grill was just pushed over into the tree line. On check out I went to the rental office and spoke directly to the owner. She didn't invite me in and just talked on the sidewalk as she was setting up a yard sale. I showed her the many photos I took. She was dismissive and rude and walked off.

Even with the few issues we would stay again.

The location was wonderful. The quietess but still close to amenities. There was a park, hiking trail with a waterfall. Pet friendly was a must for us. The screened in porch was amazing.

The couch could be more comfortable. There was a smell in the water from bathroom sink. We had a cake in a container and seen a cockroach on the counter, so we put all food in fridge even if it didn't belong.

First Cabin Getaway

Very comfortable bedding. Well decorated. Felt at home right away. Surprise treats left by hostess.

Sofa was uncomfortable, but we pulled the rocking chairs in from the screened in back porch and were very comfortable.

Read The Reviews, There's An Odor

The location is nice, yard is good for pets, the video game brought back memories. This could be a nice place but it has real issues. We stayed two nights, wouldn't do it again.

There is a smell, it's kinda like a mildew or mold smell. We removed the filter out of the ac unit in the living room after arrival and spray it with Lysol. That didn't help so we cut it off. The bedding smelled of a strong pine scent, Almost like trying to cover up the other odor. It's old, in need of repairs. It's not filthy but it isn't clean. On our last day I noticed what's causing the odors. This property is built on a concrete slab. There is water literally leaching up from the ground thru the slab and vinyl floor. I thought we'd spilled something but when you walk on the floor in the living room you can see the drops on top of the creases. Big problem and money to fix, maybe a dehumidifier might be short term answer. I wouldn't stay her again at any price.

I would rent it again. My wife not so much.

Good location, convenient to the The Island and many tourist attractions in Pigeon Forge. The king size bed was great, very nice kitchen area, except there was no dishwasher.

Strong musty smell, air fresheners were in place to help cover the smell, but they were to strong and gave my wife a headache. Also the floor had small amounts of water coming through the flooring. The couch was extremely hard and difficult to sit on.

It was a very cozy and romantic cabin that was located just a few miles from town and all the attractions and restaurant

The location was great. Out of town but just a few minutes drive back to attractions. Nice little cabin with the big yard and field to walk the dogs.

The shower was too small. I’m a big man and barley had room to move in the shower. Very spotty cell signal but that’s not in your control. One of the chairs on screened in porch felt like it was going to fall apart.

Very clean, lots of space, bed was like a marshmallow, and also very private and quiet.

Our stay was amazing!! The house was very spacious and clean. Definitely enjoyed the hot tub!! Wish we could have stayed longer than 4 days here. We will return in the future.

The backyard could include a small fenced in area for dogs to run around. Nothing else because it was perfect!!

The air quality was stale and musky and the shower had mold all around the edges at the bottom. The TV sound quality was poor making it hard to understand. Other than that all was good.

before we left we were already planning our next trip to the cabin.

super cute and well themed. the backyard had a lot of cute wild life that would visit and a hot tub which was very clean and laundry as well as being stocked with basic toiletries. The bed was the most amazing softest bed I’ve ever felt. from the moment I laid down I was scheming on how I could fit the mattress in my luggage. it was within 15-20 minutes of all major gatlinburg attractions and Dollywood. the wifi also worked great.

It was very quiet. Loved the front porch and screened in room.

From reading the description we thought it was within walking distance to attractions and actually it is in Walden Creek area. We could not get living room TV to work but wasn't there to watch TV anyway.

What an amazing stay we had at Sweetpea cabin!

I loved the serenity, the coziness of the cabin. Just what we needed for a getaway. The hot tub, of course, was FABULOUS!! The bed was very plush and comfortable, like sleeping on a marshmallow. Only a few minutes from town too. Will DEFINITELY stay her again!

I can’t think of anything this rental needs to make it better! It was absolutely perfect, and so were the hosts.

This is an excellent place! Very comfortable and clean. Couldn't recommend it more!

Excellent space that was well decorated and had all the comforts of home. Nice large television in the living room area was nice. Clean kitchen and bed was very comfortable which allowed me to relax even more. Located on nice country road but only 10 minutes or so from down town Pigeon Forge.

Directions to the house could be better. We drove around for almost an hour trying to find it. Once we found it the directions made perfect sense. However, the directions had us turning onto the road that the house is on but the sign with the road name was knocked over and we couldn't see it. I would recommend a reflective post of some sort at the end of the road to help locate it as it was dark when we arrived which made finding it that much harder.
