Ottimo soggiorno

La posizione e eccellente, così come il rapporto qualità prezzo. Camera famigliare molto ampia pulita e silenziosa. La colazione variegata e di buona qualità. Consigliato.

Direi nulla per una notte siamo stati bene. Forse la struttura esterna potrebbe necessitare di una rinfrescata così come alcuni ambienti interni. Potrebbe essere utile un mini frigo in camera. Complessivamente comunque e andato tutto bene.

Very good value for money.

I didn't have breakfast. The view from the room was lovely but the street was noisy. The air conditioning didn't seem to work. It was a very pleasant stay.

Not much to like about Hotel Central apart from low price and helpful guy at reception.

Externally and internally the place is rundown and warrants a one-star rating if that. It is in need of major refurbishment. There's a smell of staleness in the corridors and the breakfast was awful ( the previous day's bread, I'd guess, and stewed coffee, not even a proper coffee maker). My bedroom. although clean enough, was dark and unappealing. Oh, and I couldn't get the tv to work. I paid for two nights but cut my losses and left after one night.

Grest value and location for a short stay.

Great location and helpful staff. It is surprisingly quiet outside at night time ( midnight onwards). Great value.

Good place to stay

The room was very spacey, and the hotel was located in good spot, close to everywhere worth seeing in Carcassonne

The beds were a bit uncomfortable. Also, hot water needed few minutes to start running, which is not that terrible, but can be troublesome if you need to shower quick

Disappointing

Good location

Terribly dated, felt like a 1980s one star hotel. Room was cold, water took 3-4 mins to get warm, awful decor

Not good value and very minimal

The location is 7 mins walk from the station and has pay to park outside if you can get a space.

Very minimal standard and no extras. No lift and room was on third floor. Basin with lots of cracks and old plastic shower cubicle. The beds are cots. Breakfast extra. Not good value for the room rate. Avoid. Duty manager only speaks French and not able to resolve complaints.

Great location, met all my prior expectations.

The location is excellent. Just far enough away from the hype of Carcassonne to be peaceful and yet close enough to be easily accessible. All the services and facilities sought by a traveller are close to hand.

I do prefer a walk-in shower. Hotels of this age often don't provide that service. Not a complaint so much as an unmet preference.

glad to visited this fascinating city

Friendly and helpful staff; excellent location. En-suite washroom was satisfactorily equipped.

Noise from people in neighbouring buildins during the night, when we left the window open for fresh air. Window opens on a courtyard onto which other buildings look. There was lots of loud talking late at night and early in the morning - guess there is little one can do about that, but we had to shut the window.

Nice, family-run hotel in the newer section of Carcassone

The Hotel Central is a small, family run hotel in the "newer" section of Carcassonne. It is within easy walking distance of the train station, the center of the newer part of town, and even walkable to the old town - the Cite. The rooms are comfortable and include a full bathroom. The fact that it is family run gives it a cozy feeling. We chose not to purchase the breakfast because there are plenty of easy to reach cafes and bakeries in the vicinity.

If we had chosen to purchase the breakfast, there would not have been an outdoor seating option available. We are still Covid-cautious, so this matters to us.

Friendly and simple. Did the job for an overnight stop before flying home from Carcassonne Airport but facilities would benefit from a bit of an upgrade.

Good stay

The room was spacious and cosy. The location of the hotel was great. The receptionist at the hotel was very nice and explained to us many things regarding our stay upon check-in.

The only thing we didn't like was that the air-conditioning didn't work at night, and it was hot.

Other than the drawbacks I have noted, the stay was a good one.

Bad air-conditioning. The facility needs renovating and modernizing. The bathroom needs help. The shower was inadequate, and there was nowhere to place anything. Also, the lack of an elevator is a negative although the manager kindly took our bags upstairs.

A great location and a nice old house but the whole hotel needs an update.

the receptionist was really helpful and was really customer oriented.

the room had too much furniture, hardly any power sockets, and was generally cluttered, tired, and old. The decor could do with a refresh and I couldn’t get the window shutter down again after opening it to see out of the window. As there were no curtains I had no privacy from the street.
