Basic but comfortable and good value for money

Great view (especially at breakfast), new toilets and showers (at least on our floor), a reasonable breakfast spread given the cost. It's quite basic accommodation, nothing fancy, but that's all we were looking for and for that it's very good value for money. Just a short stroll into town too, mind you it's all uphill coming back :D

1-2 more chairs in the room would be helpful, as there were only 2 for 6 beds.

our room had a crazy view, the breakfast was perfect and the bar is full of local beers.

the restaurant was open but by 7.30 they had finished everything. Our room had not been cleaned, the shower and washbasin were filthy, the floor was full of crumbs.

nice basic accommodation high up in the hills

Nice and basic accommodation. Beds were comfy, breakfast was very nice with a reasonable choice. a the bar was stocked with some nice local beers. Beautiful view of the castle and old town. Great secure bike parking too! Staff were super lovely and helpful.

The only thing we found difficult was seeing at night in some of the corridors. The lights are on timed switches that you hit to give you a minute or so of light, but quite a few of them were not working especially in staircases which proved a little difficult in the dark, but we managed :)

very nice hostel place, all was clean, good price value ratio, stunning view of the city and castle - great spot for the night light show…. plenty of beer sorts for reasonable prices, good wifi…we had the room with shower and the toilet was just next door…with not many guests it was like private

…just the more than 50 young kids a bit noisy and messy during breakfast :) but hey, it’s a hostel

The breakfast is simple but good, and the kitchen team was outstanding and helpful. The view from the terrace is outstanding, and the selection of beers very nice.

There are very few electrical sockets in the room and far from the bed, which is not ideal for a hostel room with no key for the room. The room upstairs was very hot - it would be great to manage the windows so that the internal air can chill at night, and close them when it is too warm. A plus for the breakfast - it would be great to have some fresh veggies or savoury spread.

A great find.

The view from the terrace was worthy of a four star hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast was really good, plenty to choose from. The evening meal was really good too, huge portions of freshly cooked food and excellent value too. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. I will definitely be making another visit to this hostel.

The hostel is in an excellent location with amazing views to the river and the town of Bouillon. The facilities and the staff were great. We loved the breakfast as well. We only stayed for one night but I would repeat if I come back to Bouillon.

We stayed in a family room with our own shower. The view from our room was amazing. We saw the entire city. Our stay was also quiet which I apprecirated. The bunk bed mattress was unexpectedly comfortable.

I would have like a warm breakfast selection. Like scambled eggs and a sausage.
