Very beautiful building, decorated with taste, the terrace and the swimming pool were so enjoyable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Like an oasis in marseille
Missing a bit more attention to details to feel like true luxury. Only soap in the bathroom, no body cream, nothing to dry your clothes in the little courtyard that belongs to the room, curtains slightly coming off the rail. The bathroom is quite small but then there is a small odd kitchen with another sink (but nothing to actually cook, so you can only use the fridge and sink) etc.
Small things, but makes the difference. But we still had a great trip

This place was beyond charming. I love staying at boutique hotels and this one was just exceptional. All the staff and management were beyond gracious hosts. We miss it already! While it’s not in the heart of downtown Marseille, it’s worth it!! So quiet and peaceful staying outside the city, and definitely walkable to the beach.

The pool area was lovely
Breakfast - unless you completed a card day before it became bit of an issue even if you booked breakfast on arrival you still had to tell them what you wanted and pre order every day. The choice was also very limited and any extras such as cheese, eggs or sausage had to be paid for on top of basic price. The breakfast was very basic and you could only have one hot drink. For 16 euros per day this was not value for money at all. Better off buying some bread and croissants yourself to have in your room as kettle, coffee maker and fridge.

it was great that they accommodated our early check in - thank you
the chateau is beautiful and whilst a little off the beaten track down a side street it was a 10-15 min walk to the beach to lots of restaurants but a v hot walk in temperatures in the mid 30s
the bed was super comfy - probably the best in our 4 weeks travelling
the pool was lovely, the beds spacious and super quiet
overall we enjoyed our stay but had a few niggles:
- the food was really poor and over priced - I’m making allowances for the fact that operations may have been impacted sadly by the riots in Marseille and so they may have been missing key people but the prices still stayed the same. it was clear that many of the staff were v young and inexperienced- cocktails were expensive and returned as they were so poor and as was dinner one evening. this needs to be sorted for the prices being charged
- the stair way were really dark and at times with heavy cases difficult to navigate and quite dangerous

A beautiful hotel with a nice vibe and friendly staff. A cute room and great food.
A bit far away from everything but also the centre of Marseille isn't very nice so I liked the fact it was a bit further away from the chaos of the city.

Very authentic hotel, with a very special decoration (reminded me of Grand Hotel Budapest a bit). The terrace was very pleasant and the room was large and confortable.
Cables, wifi etc.. were just left on the table of the suite. Not the fault of the hotel but there were some kids screaming in the pool all morning. Check-out is fairly early given that the check-in was past 16.00h.

it’s a beautiful and unique hotel. I liked the comfort of the room, bed, pillows, fresh linen, comfortable bathtub, pleasant smell in the room and bathroom, beautiful room design and option to have a custom breakfast. Kind and attentive stuff
it would be nice to be able to check in after 8 and check out before 8 if needed

Not Much
Mediocre Stay - looks very different in the pictures. It's actually a small property with nothing impressive. Quality of sheets, towels and amenities really disappointing. For a city thats famous for its quality soap, amenities were really not at that "Savon De Marseille" level. Size of the room is tiny. Pressure of shower very low! Check-in and check-out impersonal. No reception in the evening, you keep the big entrance gate key with you to open for yourself when you're back in the evening...What a responsibility! No buttler to help with the luggage. No concierge service. Hot water, coffee machine and tea are hidden in a drawer in the room, not easily displayed nor accessible. Wardrobe cannot open because of two chairs facing it... Anyway, the whole price should be 50% cheaper. Doesn't deserve this value.

te owner and staff where beyond lovely. Although the owner did have the nicest bar night area for her and her friend, which was a bit odd.
They say they have parking but they don't. They are on a quiet street where you can park for free (which is fine, but they should not say they have parking).
They position themselves as a hotel, although they would be better described as bed and breakfast It is not professionally run. (which is fine, but they should say so).
They say they have room service, which they are not really set up for (Which is fine, but they should not say they do)
They describe a room with a private garden, which is really the basement with an added bathroom, that you access from the back of the house and has a gated off area with lawn chairs and pebbles. (This was not fine, as it was not great. It comes off as an outhouse and it did not feel very clean. Plus we were eaten by mosquitoes!)
Overall, despite the loveliness of the hosts, it felt deceitful and overpriced for the room we had.
Maybe others are nicer, but this I do not know.
The house is beautiful and has been quaintly jazzed up into low budget shabby sheik. This is in itself ok, but they should describe it for what it is.

Very very friendly host, who made our stay absolutely amazing! And location wise very beautiful beaches nearby.
A little far away from the city center but everything else was great.

the staff are so friendly, especially the manager and owner who greeted us late at night so warmly! the chateau itself is gorgeous and it was so nice to chill by the pool even though it was a bit too cold to go in.
we loved being a bit outside the city, but for people who are expecting to be staying inside the city, it’s a cab ride away.

Staff was kind but unprepared, didn't speak French and did not fit the standard of the Les Collectionneurs hotel

Loved the property and was so comfortable. Bed more comfortable than mine at home.
The refrigerator in the room was not working.
The standing lamp by sofa was not working.

Beautiful property in a lovely setting and having a pool is a bonus !! Very 'shabby chic' which adds to the charm. Lovely, friendly staff. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent
A hairdryer would have been nice in the room and there was no remote for the TV. I was told a new one would have to be ordered, so there was no replacement.
Had not realised breakfast was not included and at 17e a day was rather excessive for what was on offer.

When booking I didn't notice they also did lunch and evening dinner to such a high standard on outside log fuelled grills. It looked superb. The staff were all excellent and helpful.
Minor moan, the internet dropped often for the TV/streaming services. My fault but we were further from town than expected BUT .. using the ferry every morning into Marseille was a highlight.

Beautiful château with gorgeous decor. Nice pool in a lovely area. Short walk to the beach. Great location to drive into Marseille or down the coast. Staff were friendly.
Had to ask for clean towels after 3 nights even though the room is cleaned daily. Also had to ask for toilet paper. More umbrellas at the pool would be nice, there are not enough. Parking is street parking, not within the château gates which I wasn't aware of The restaurant has beautiful food but is very expensive.

We loved it. Gorgeous grounds and beautiful bldg. The owner was very helpful and spoke great English. It was typically very quiet and our room was very spacious. The on-site restaurant was great (we are there 4 times!!) and the breakfast was good too. The pool was relaxing as well.
It’s in a spot where having a car is very helpful. The train station is a good distance away so if you want to explore any of the other towns nearby, a car is much easier than train
