Robert and Nancy were amazing hosts! The house was very nice, and the beds were super comfy. This is probably one of the best stocked VRBOs I have stayed in. Our flight got cancelled and I reached out to see if we could have a little extra time for check out, so I could regroup and get new flights. Robert and Nancy were kind enough to give us the time we needed. I am truly grateful for their kindness!

We were very pleased with our stay at this property. The home was nice, clean, well stocked with everything we needed and the perfect place to stay while in Tucson for a softball tournament. The owners were friendly & responsive upon check-in & check-out. The property is close to Park Place Mall and several restaurants. We would recommend this property to others and would stay at this here again if we are ever in the Tucson area.

We had a great four-night stay at the casita. We loved the home from the minute we entered the front door. Having three bedrooms and two baths was perfect for the four of us. Everything was extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the open feel of the living/dining/kitchen area. We enjoyed several fires in the corner fireplace while watching classic movies on TCM. Having a laundry was a plus as this was about halfway through a two-week vacation. The patio area was pleasant for afternoon relaxing. We would definitely return and would highly recommend the casita to others.

Quiet neighborhood, clean, well kept home. Robert and Nancy supplied two kinds of coffee, assorted creamers, snacks and complimentary water. The beds were fairly new, there were extra blankets and towels. Robert texted us several times to make sure all was well. Very favorable impression of the Gomez Casita! Would definitely book again!

This is the 5th year we have stayed at this house in Tucson. We like the central location and it is close to everything we need. Great restaurants are nearby as well as shops, gas stations, grocery stores, and the places we visit.

Beds were comfortable. The living room furniture is worn but comfy. I didn't realize there was not a dishwasher in the house, but we used paperplates for our cookout. Elderly folks should be careful on the bathroom mats, they slip. The sliding patio door is difficult to open. Overall, a nice place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

We felt lucky to have stayed here. The home was easy enough to navigate for a person able to transfer to and from her scooter. I did bring a small ramp for the front door entrance threshold, which is about 6 inches. We enjoyed the patio, fire pit, and well-equipped kitchen. The hosts were very responsive and nice.

Great place to stay

We were in Tucson to watch my daughters college softball team play in a tournament. The house was centrally located so it made it convenient because we were in a 10 minute radius of the field, restaurants and the team hotel.. The house itself was warm and welcoming with enough space for 4 adults. We would stay there again.

This 3 bedroom home was wonderful. The inside was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything you need for a relaxing getaway was there. The kitchen was great. Everything you need to cook any type meal. The outside was spacious and well equipped for grilling and relaxing as well as playing. I would recommend this for adults and families. Owners were quick to respond all in all a perfect vacation spot.

The Casita Gomez was perfect for our family of 4 over the Christmas holiday - clean, comfortable, and cozy. We really appreciated the special touches provided by the hosts - Christmas decor scattered throughout the house, including a little tree with lights. And the abundant hot water for showers was wonderful after our many hikes!

Best thing about Gomez Casita is the Arizona room! Yes, the beds are great, kitchen well stocked, but the Arizona room made it perfect. We were a multi-generational family with a baby. Being able to put her down and go out into the Arizona room for games and conversations made it so pleasant. We had no worries about waking up babies! Being a Tucson native, I knew the location was perfect-easy access to major streets that would get us anywhere we wanted to go. Neighbor was safe-we enjoyed walking to the Tucson classic-Eegees for the lemon eegees-a must try!

Comfortable stay during monsoon season

We stayed in this comfortable casita for 10 nights during monsoon season. Turns out this home is perfect for watching summer storms from safe and dry locations, both in front and in back (amazing lightning here in the desert). On days when the summer sun was blazing, the air conditioning and fans (ceiling and floor) kept us cool. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was easy to figure out how to get the television to work and the viewing options were extensive. The location also was great -- a quiet neighborhood, but still close to stores and both Mt. Lemmon and Saguaro National Park East. We look forward to staying here again!

The property is so clean, well cared for and well stocked. We enjoyed the backyard area and seeing the hummingbirds. Though the house is small, the cleanliness and care put into it made it the perfect choice for our family. We were in Tucson to move our son from AZ to CA. The property was convenient to everything we needed and we enjoyed having a bedroom for each of us. My wife and I plan to visit Tucson again and will plan on booking here again.

We spent a long weekend with our 2 older daughters and grandmother in this casita. It was spotless! The beds were super comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet at night. Robert and Nancy are perfect hosts. A bowl of fruit and bottle of wine greeted us as we settled in. Everything felt and smelled clean. Linens crisp and beds firm and very comfortable. Located in a nice quiet residential neighborhood away from major streets. We will stay here again.

This house is great because we were able to use the kitchen for cooking all of our meals. And, the place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. It is also in a good location if you plan to hike both sides of Saguaro National Park as we did. The only reasons for not giving it five stars is that we were not given the correct code for entry. That's a minor issue. More importantly, the house reeked of cigarette smoke. We were warned when we called for the correct entry code that they thought someone had burned a fire. But, it was definitely cigarette smoke which seemed to be coming from the furniture. It was so bad that we had to boil citrus and keep the windows open for much of our stay.

Clean and all amenities available. Robert, the owner, was very responsive. We were not able to get into the lock box because property management had changed combination after their initial email providing one. That was my only complaint. Rented this home through VRBO but most correspondence was through 3rd party. But again, Robert was totally available. Wine and chocolates were provided for us. Can't beat that.
