- got clean instructions how to get to the parking and walk to the hotel afterwards
- clean, comfortable

- well-working wifi

Easy access to city. Overall very clean.
While it was freshly washed, there was a small stain on the bedsheet, nothing major, but noteworthy. Two issues, however, were seriously problematic: While all three of my devices could log on to the two networks the hotel provided, neither of my devices could access the internet itself, likely because the connection was too bad; i.e. every page timed out. The room I had was also in a problematic area for phone connection, as most time it was only on low level 4G. So using my phone as hotspot meant occasional outages - let alone, the added data volume cost using my non-German smart phone as a hotspot. Yet, for work, I depend on internet access. I was expecting this to happen after checking in, since the receptionist, who was otherwise friendly, seemed suddenly somewhat evasive and cagey when I asked about the wifi access, leaving me to guess it is an actual and persistent problem. Secondly, the shower cabin, while clean, had four moveable glass-door elements. Only one of the four had the necessary rubber isolation on the bottom, meaning that after taking a shower, the bathroom was inevitably more or less flooded. Given that a standard maintenance issue was not under control, as well as internet access is a problem, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone travelling for business. While I saw after check-out that I'd received an email via booking.com inviting feedback upon departure (well, I didn't check my email for lack of internet), the receptionist did not ask me if everything was ok when I did check out, as is standard in all other hotels I ever stayed in. Respectively, not being asked directly, I reserved my feedback for this comment here.

The TV didn't work, the bedside lamps did not work either. No one to contact to speak about the issues and a helpline was not answered.

The location is great, right in the middle of town and easy access by road, we were 3 hours early, and the rooms were ready
We only spent one night, as a stop-over en-route

Good location, room was a good size. Staff were friendly and helpful
I had arranged to check in late (as I had to travel to the hotel from the hook of Holland Ferry and so I was provided with a door code to get in the night entrance, unfortunately this code did not work, but luckily a member of the hotel staff happened to be in the foyer and saw me with my pile of luggage trying to get in and he let me in, otherwise it could have been a very difficult situation for me. I had requested parking, but I had not realised this was provided by a separate company and when I got to the carpark entrance it did not allow motorcycles (which was my means of transport) and so I had to hunt around for a motorcycle parking place, which very fortunately I was able to find very near to the hotel entrance. I think perhaps I should have been clearer when booking that I was riding a motorcycle to the hotel and that was what I required parking for , although it is possible that the staff would not have been aware that the parking did not allow motorcycles.

Good location. Very helpful with late check-in.
Did not bother me, some noise during the night from partying people.

The friendly approach to the customers and assistance as needed. The breakfast was well set out and to a very high standard. The rooms were spacious and commfortable. Well recommended to all. A return visit is expected.

For someone exploring the old town, the location is fantastic. While you can tell the age of the building here and there, there is a lot of effort being put into guest services and security. It is a decent clean bed within walking distance of most things.
Given the very good location, a bit of noise from the main road was gonna happen on the first floor. The parking system seems to be overprized and needlessly complicated, that might be on the owner of the garage's side though, not on the hotel's. Other than those very small ones, no complaints.
