Stunning location, excellent dinner and breakfast
Unfortunately the driveway was being relaid - on the plus side they’ll be fine next time we visit!

Nice but old hotel. Very friendly and nice cleaning staff.
Breakfast the last morning lacked a bit compared to the other days, although there were two hours left of service. Also on the last night a large group of locals had some kind of party and dinner in the hotel, occupying the pool area with drinks and partying, making it very unwelcoming for families with children such as ours.
Rooms are a bit on the small side when staying as a family of four for more than one night.

The rooms are not too cozy, the manner of the rooms do not correspond with the cozy lobby.

Fantastic old-but-in-a-good-shape hotel with nice stuff.
You can change your electric car right on parking. The breakfast was great!
Not too many charging spots on the parking, so it might be difficult to access them on a busy day
4.5
swimming pool / bedrooms
breakfast with very limited choice

Great scenic location in itself and a great base for travelling around Telemark. Hotel allows dogs, although only in room and to get to room. Swimming pool was great. Great breakfast. Hotel staff were really friendly.
Grounds could do with some love especially basketball court and mini-golf. Dinner needs to be booked at reception, which we didn’t know on our first night so it wasn’t a very welcoming entry to the restaurant! Food was good but menu very limited for kids, adding in some vegetables would make a big difference.

Staff is super especially at the restaurant. Room is nice. Bed is comfy. Bathroom could be better. Even the hotel was full but the pool was nearly vacant😂
Restaurant menu should vary a little. For us who stayed for 3 days, ran out of options. And the quality could be improved.

they should put up proper blackout curtains. we stayed here in july. it gets very bright very early.

Seemed very short staffed. Had to wait for the receptionist to show up. had to wait for the bar tender to come to the bar.
