About this house rental
CORONAVIRUS SPECIAL CLEANING with specific industrial products.
A deap cleaning is done with specific industrial products of Químicas Atlántico brand. This cleaning follows the guidelines recommended in two stages: cleaning and disinfection, starting with low risk areas (terraces, bedrooms, living room) before moving to higher risk areas (such as kitchen and bathrooms).
As a reminder: each bedroom has its own bathroom.
In particular, we are strengthening:
- Door handles
- Remote controls and switches (such as light switches, oven / hob control buttons, TV remote controls, stores traction system, etc.)
- Bathroom taps, flush buttons, toilet seat, hair dryers.
- Kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery (all dishwasher-safe at high temperature)
- Furniture - such as chairs, tables and bed frames.
- Children's items - such as beds, toys or other accessories (many have been removed from the property for safety)
- Household linen, systematically, even what seems not to have been used, washed at high temperature and then sprayed with a specific product for fabrics.
- Bins and recycling containers. All basic food, which can normally be used from guests to others, is thrown away (salt, aromatic herbs, coffee, etc.).
- Cleaning equipment is replaced, both for each cleaning and for the stay (sponges and mops). The vacuum cleaner is no longer available.
- Holiday information in paper, booklets, menus, cards is no longer provided. For Tenerife maps, free maps are provided by Tenerife Perla upon arrival in the baggage hall at the airport or at the tourist office in the village.
For your stay:
A shoe box is available on the terrace to store them before entering. There are two pharmacies in the village, where you will find masks at 95 cents per unit and hydroalcoholic gel.
The house is ideal for up to 6 people + 2 children & 2 babies as there are two ensuite bedrooms with double-bed with private bathrooms inside and the third room one with a sofa-bed & a child bed and another small bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen makes your life easy: microwave oven, induction cooker, dishwasher, washing-machine, kettle, coffee machine, ....
The house is adapted to small children and babies: safe plugs, and children barriers for the stairs, baby beds, high chairs, plastic plates, mixer, microwave, fryer, and beach & house games... Behind the residence a play ground (no street to cross)
Living room with HI-FI, SMART TV 40" with access in internet, DVD player. DVDs and Wifi provided. The house has a small terrace facing the child ren pool, with 4 sun beds, a table and chairs and another one where you can organise a barbecue. If you rent a car, parking spots are always easy to find in front of the house.

Schönes Haus, gut ausgestattet, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt
das Haus ist ca. 15 Jahre alt. Es hat viele Zimmer und Badezimmer. Man kann sicher mit 5 Personen dort übernachten. Wir sind allerdings große Personen, deswegen erschienen uns die Betten etwas klein. Die sehr nette Vermieterin hat uns mit Handtüchern und Badetüchern ausgestattet.
Toaster, Mikrowelle, kompletter Herd und Spülmaschine vorhanden. Küchenutensilien etwas bunt zusammengemischt, aber alles OK.
Die Küche hat auch eine Waschmaschine, so dass man eigentlich gar nicht so viele Sachen mitnehmen muss.
Wir durften den Grill benutzen, das war sehr schön mit der Familie abends zu grillen. Die Terrassen sind prima. Auf der Dachterrasse kann einen keiner sehen und von dort kann man abends die Sterne beobachten.
Der Pool ist extrem nah und sauber. Die Anlage ist nachts sehr ruhig.
In der Nähe sind sehr schöne Strände. Wir sind nicht zum Strand von El Medano gegangen, sondern zum El Tejina.
Ein sehr schöner Urlaub, ich empfehler das Haus weiter.

Fint hus, veludstyret til familier med børn, rent og med rigeligt sengetøj, håndklæder og køkkenudstyr, det hele var som at være i sit eget sommehus.
Vil helt sikkert vende tilbage til dette hus næste gang vi kommer til Tenerife.

Lovely resort, clean comfortable house
We found El Medano an ideal resort for a family holiday. We arrived after 10pm and getting into the property was a bit of a fuss, but was sorted after we contacted Anne. We were able to contact her quite easily and she made it clear that she was available if needed. The house was clean and comfortable, it was good to have use of a dishwasher and washing machine. The bathroom in the third bedroom was a bit small for adult use although there was plenty of room in the house for 4 adults and 2 toddlers. I didn’t realise when booking that the house was in a
residential complex and what that would mean. It was very quiet, which was nice and as you would expect of a residential area but we felt we needed to keep the time our two, two and a half year old grandsons spent in the outside area to a minimum, even with adult supervision due to a worry of them making a noise and disturbing the residents. Therefore I would recommend this well equipped house and it’s location for families with young babies or older children than ours. Anne was friendly and helpful and overall we had a lovely holiday.

El Medano est un petit village agréable plus typique et moins envahi par les vacanciers étrangers que los Cristianos. D'une manière générale nous avons beaucoup apprécié le contact avec les locaux, restaurants, commerces, club de plongée... et nous reviendrons avec plaisir au Ténérife. La mer et le climat sont excellents pour un mois d'octobre et toute la famille s'est baignée à la mer sans réticence (ma fille étant de nature particulièrement frileuse) . La location est agréable, propre,très bien équipée. La propriétaire Anne française d'origine, chaleureuse et sympathique est facilement joignable. Seul bémol au tableau la proximité de l'aéroport ...

I cannot recommend this house highly enough. From start to finish Ann was so helpful and accommodating to us. We are a family of 6 and the house was absolutely perfect for us and could easily have accommodated grandparents as well.
The house was well furnished and Ann was quick to suggest more things that we might need and was able to provide them for us. For the baby there was everything from buggy to high chair and a choice of cot. Towels and linen were all provided and of a high standard.
The house is located in a gated complex and the neighbours were very friendly. The pool man did a great job of keeping the communal areas clean and tidy.
The house is located on the edge of El Médano and is a very easy walk to the town centre, the beach, the supermarket, the bus stop. We preferred La Jaquita beach which was about a 15 minute walk away as there were less people there. The beach in the town is only about a 10 minute walk and there are lots of cafes and restaurants close by.
The water sports are fabulous to watch while sitting in one of the many cafes and our children enjoyed 2 weeks of surf school with Picacho which I would also highly recommend.
I would thoroughly recommend this property and the location to anyone looking for a fabulous holiday.

We had a fantastic time at this villa, it has everything you need for a family holiday, clean and well looked after. The villa is very well equipped with all you need, not to far from the big supermarket, we will definitely be back.

This is a fabulous place to stay, especially with kids. The house is very comfortable and spacy enough for 3 adults and 2 children, it has virtually everything one might wish for spending a great vacation. Both beds are very comfy (apparently the matresses were replaced recently). Our kids especially appreciated a huge bow full of toys and some stuff for beach (even solar creams were there!).
The town of Medano is cosy and pleasant, close to main attractions yet away from overcrowded Las Americas and Los Cristianos. Thank you Anne for a wonderful stay!

We were 6 adults with 3 kids, and really enjoyed our ~2 week stay. 5 minutes walk to the ocean, and several playgrounds nearby, kids loved it. Owners are extremely friendly and nice people. El Medano city is more windy than Los Christianos & Las Americas, but more quiet, relaxing and cosy in terms of tourism. Especially great if you''re keen to try sports (windsurf & kitesurf)!"
