A pousada é maravilhosa! Em meio à natureza, um clima muito agradável, o quarto super confortável e fomos muito bem recebidos por todos que trabalham aí, da recepção até as pessoas da cozinha! O café da manhã é incrível, não queríamos mais ir embora. Comentei que nunca havia tomado suco de cupuaçu e no dia seguinte haviam preparado pra mim com muito amor, me senti especial. Tambem machuquei meu pé e o Chris me ofereceu um mini kit pra eu me cuidar! A Barbara tambem ofereceu várias dicas de restaurantes, passeios, etc Super recomendado!

Estadia tranquila e aconchegante

Pousada tranquila e aconchegante, com um lindo jardim. O proprietário e a equipe foram muito solícitos. O café da manhã é delicioso.

Havia uma reforma ao lado, mas pararam quando reclamei na recepção.

Garden view and ocean sound

The Pausada is really close to the beach (2 minutes) and to the center with all the restaurants (10 minutes). We liked it, that it’s not directly in the center because it was so quiet and we could head the waves. The staff is really really nice, they helped us with all our questions, showed us good spots for trekking, the sunset, snorkeling and dinner. The garden is wonderful and relaxing. The bed had a mosquito net and the room was clean. We had two hammocks in front of the room so we could even enjoy the garden during the rain ;) The breakfast is delicious and always fresh. We loved it (and the strong coffee!)

There are mosquitos and biting insects this time of year. Bring and use your repellent and you’ll be fine!

The Sheraton 5-star resort of Boipeba

I call this place, the Sheraton of Boipeba.. what an amazing place. Thanks you, Chris for your hospitality and we hope to be back. Great location, a 10 min walk from the port, by the beach. 20 min access to the wonderful west-side beaches of the island. The breakfast is wide and varied, served hot and fresh. Bungalows are clean, modern and beautifully decorated. The whole place feels like a tropical resort with birds, flowers and beauty.

A home in a little heaven!

Everything was perfect, the room, the tropical garden, the breakfast, the staff… It was definitely our favorite place during the whole trip, so much that we even extended our stay! there’s also a very good internet connection if you want to work from there.

I would love to come back!

I loved the garden of the place. It gave so much calmness and peace. This place really keeps an eye on details! Like nice music, accessories and books to rent out! The staff is also extra friendly and pleasant!

excellent

the setting was beautiful in the gardens of an exceptional pousada. we had a chalet at the top of the garden. not good if you don’t like a few steps but definitely worth it for the view. a great place for watching all the different birds and other wildlife. Chris and his team were exceptional and made us feel welcome and like family. we were sad to leave . breakfast was always delicious and different every day. The location is also great as near both town and beach. would definitely go back there

Cozy and quiet retreat in the middle of nature

Very quiet and peaceful inn, lodged among lots of vegetation. Staff is very friendly, attentive and breakfast is tasty and well served, with home cooked food. It really feels like a retreat in a desert island. The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. They also have very good air conditioning and mosquito nets over the bed. Bathroom is okay, simple and functional. The inn is very near Boca da Barra Beach, but a bit of a hike from the city center.

Not much do complain. The first time you go to the inn it is really hard to find it, there are not many signs and you have to go through some dark alleys - not dangerous at all though. There is also no TV in the room if that is important to you, but we didn't miss it at all, you come back so tired that you usually just want to fall asleep.
