Second time back here, great location, great property, amazing views and feels like a home away from home.
Nothing it was great.

We were returning guests, so everything was according to our expectations. Everything you might ever need is there, a home from home. The spectacular view on Loch Leven is always worth the stay!
The direct surroundings around the house could be a bit cleaner. There is some litter and debris on the parking ground and on the opposite side of the premises. I thought about cleaning it up myself, but then considered it not to be my own task. Everything else was great, inside the house was spotlessly clean.

Location was wonderful. house was very well equipped. Everything we could have needed. Darren the owner was very helpful. Could have stayed forever. As they say in Scotland "Haste ye back". Would not hesitate to recommend to friends & family. Thanks once again Darren for letting us stay in your unique boathouse. P.S Bonus the wildlife. Seals ducks otters. Loved it all.
Nothing to complain about

Everthing
Unusually, got rather too hot downstairs, particularly in an evening & not been able to adjust temperature

The boathouse is in a beautiful location, very clean inside, great for a group of friends in a larger family. There was only 2 of us so it was a bit big for us. The kitchen was brilliant lots of room and everything you need. Loved the view from the windows just do peaceful.
This is being very picky as its a good place to stay. The bathroom with corner bath is slightly dated as is the sitting room both spotless though. As there only being 2 of us, we felt a big spooked out with the downstairs but again that's our problem not the boathouse. We stayed in 1st bedroom upstairs with 2 single beds and it is very close to road.

Best location ever. Very interesting place to stay.
Our upstair bedroom door was hard to keep closed and bathroom had no heating. Place looked clean but there was dirt and sweety papers under our bedroom bed and also under sofa in dowstairs living room we found old chocolate peaces a little bit off putting. Some furniture needs to be moved once in a while for proper clean.

Great location for photographers. We loved the open kitchen diner area in particular. It was warm and comfortable throughout.
There was no access lighting or toiletries.

This Boathouse is one of the best self-catering facilities we have stayed in. The whole set-up provided is truly excellent with everything you're likely to need, provided. The location is ideal as a very comfortable base from which to explore the wonderful magic of Glencoe and it's beautiful surroundings. Darren was the perfect host, very responsive and most helpful. We felt very privileged to be able to stay in such a lovely 'home'. Very definitely hope to return.
Nothing to add here as it all was just perfect.

Great view, peace and quiet

The location and view were excellent and the property was very well equipped. The owner kept in touch to make sure we were comfortable.
The access to the property is on a bend which needs careful attention when exiting. The central heating is controlled remotely and was far too hot at times especially when there were signs asking for the windows to be kept closed. The sloping ceilings in some rooms and the very deep step between lounge and dining area made it difficult with anyone with mobility problems but, admittedly, that was the charm and quirkiness of the property.

Me and my partner absolutely loved every minute of it from the house to the view absolutely everything and to top it off my partner said yes to marrying me couldn’t have dreamed of a better place to do it . Will also definitely be going back

Amazing location and everything you need for a family holiday whatever the weather. Check out the den!
The mattresses on the beds were a bit uncomfortable
