good location and south facing front garden.
awkward parking space.
combi boiler not set up to deliver hot water.
only 2 slice toaster for a 6 birth accom.
facilities basic .
accommadation needs updating as looking tired and dark rooms. This house could be beautiful with a little TLC, The furniture is supposed to be the look of Old and new ? Some nice dark pieces are quality , but very dusty, And The pine furniture, I Thinks its meant to be shabby chic , Ive seen better Looking pine cupboards in a charity shop, Its tatty and stained , not something that you put in a £200 a night Rental cottage, there is a lot of dust everywhere. and .cracks on bathroom floor tiles are not safe for children as sharp edges on bare feet. we were looking forward to going to the swimming pool that was free access which was included in the cottage, but were told that this particular cottage hadnt renewed their Membership, this was rectified when i eventually got through to the company. but it was too late , and its not free access its £9 per person for a swim. which was all we wanted. This is not stated. There was no welcome pack , four small shortbread biscuits, four t,bags, coffee sachets, and sugar.
in the cupboard. Sorry but nothing felt welcoming about this cottage. but The area Beadnall.Walkworth.and Bamburough and Seahouses made our holiday. beacuse we love these areas. the coottage let it down , shame coz it could be lovely . But if you dont have high stsandards, and need somewhere to throw your dirty walking boots. and your dogs to lay around ,then maybe this cottage is for them but definateley not worth the money . A few photos of the damaged bathroom tiles, dusty wardrobe ,missing carpet in bedroom , and tatty stained pine furniture.

Good situation, sensible easy to clean floor as had dogs and they loved the beach!
Had problems with the door locks on arrival, 1 sorted next day after contacting letting agents other outstanding.
Information about size of parking space should be made available at time booking ,it is in the information pack in the house that it's for medium sized car, not much help at end long drive-did get my MPV/estate car in the space eventually with about 6inches gap to open boot

Location. Space. Value
Parking really is for a small car only but we knew before we set off and switched to our smaller runaround vehicle. There were a few items of crockery missing but these were soon brought to the property when we pointed it out. Some wet paint on newel post but again fedback to company.

The property is in a good location for the harbour and Main Street. It’s nicely decorated and a good size for a weekend stay.
It wasn’t clean. The floors were dirty and lots of areas were dusty. It needed a thorough clean and had obviously just had a surface clean. My children’s socks were brown on the soles from the dirt on the downstairs floors. I think it’s particularly important to make sure that floors are clean when dogs have been allowed. We were also greeted with dog mess at the back door. Lots of surfaces were dusty and the sofas were full of crumbs. Not good enough for the price we paid. In addition, the bathroom light cord was ridiculously short so my son and mother couldn’t reach it to turn it on! I also feel it’s cheeky to ask clients to strip beds at the end of the stay when the property wasn’t clean to start with.

A fantastic location which was not a few minutes walk to the harbour. A really well presented cottage which made for a fantastic family holiday
Nothing to complain about! Only very minor point was the parking space round the back is a bit small if you have a wide car. It was fine for us but you need to make sure you are tucked in.

Really a lovely, clean, and nicely decorated home with newish kitchen and bathroom. Parking was just outside the back door which was very good. The washing machine was a plus.
The bed in the front master room was not comfortable at all and the pillows were flimsy. (Other rooms were fine.) I would recommend that guest who arrive by auto bring their own pillows and a mattress topper. The upstairs rooms would have benefitted from a fan as it got quite warm on the four nights we were there. With the window open for a breeze it was a bit loud. The curtains did nothing to block the light.

Great location to village and harbour, well equiped and comfortable
Not a lot of parking, small outside space, the neighbour was quite rude

pleasant property in a great location
arrived just before 4pm and no key in the box. Returned at 4pm, still no key but door was open. when we went in the property had not been cleaned and all bedding was on the floor. didn’t get access until 6pm.
central heating didn’t work in the front room. reported this but took 2 days for fitter to arrive - still doesn’t work. had to buy logs as it was cold on a night.

The location was excellent. Local shops on the door step. Quick five minute walk to the harbour.
Parking was very tight. Wish we’d have come in a smaller car.

House was clean and comfy, central for everything, would stay again
There was no toilet rolls provided or tea towels, this should be stated on the website, parking is very difficult at the back of the property.

It was a ideal place to stay for visiting Bamburgh, Alnwick, Alnmouth and the lovely beaches along the coast ,the house is also lovely, very clean and comfortable, providing everything you need for a great stay.
The parking was a bit tight ,but the neighbour is lovely and doesn't mind if you have to take your time as you have to maneuver a bit on her space ,

The property is furnished and decorated to a very high standard and is beautiful with some lovely touches. It has a really homely feel, we settled in straight away and felt like we were on holiday as soon as we walked in the door. We’ll definitely be returning.
I have a big volvo and the parking space was just too tight for me to get into but the main car park is a short walk away so that was fine.

Excellent location 5 minutes from the harbour. Good quality furnishings. Well equipped kitchen although the dishwasher defeated us
Car parking tricky, anything bigger than an Astra would be extremely difficult to get in

Absolutely everything! If this house was up for sale, we'd buy it and move in tomorrow! The location is perfect, quiet, but only 5 minutes walk to the harbour, beach, shops and magnificent views. The decor is lovely, beach inspired and fabulous. Some gorgeous pictures and lamps etc. Couldn't have asked for anything more in the kitchen, everything supplied to cook a 3 course meal and a cake if you want 😋Very comfortable sitting room, with pleasing decor. Bedrooms very tasteful and bed comfortable. Good night sleep had. Bathroom lovely.
Warm and cosy, plenty of hot water and aswell as central heating a log burner available. Just perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer! Oh and all manuals and information about appliances and area in folders. Very informative. We had no problems at all. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Everyone mentions the tight parking, however we have a skoda octavia estate, it's a big car! My partner had no problem, with careful manoeuvres, in and out. 😊The lane is wide enough to drive down and turn at the end to drive out! So all good really. See photo.
Back door difficult to lock from outside.

Great location, short walk to the Main Street, shops, restaurants, harbour and beaches. No traffic noise. Fantastic local walking. Comfortable lounge, good kitchen and dining area. All very clean. 2 good size bedrooms with comfortable double beds and small third bedroom with bunks. Nice decor. Good fast WiFi.
Parking space behind the cottage is very small and the corner of the lane just fits a VW Golf but not an estate car. You can park overnight at Station Yard car park but not in Beech Croft as mentioned elsewhere.
The main description needs to be corrected as this property is neither “beachfront”, nor has “access to a patio”. The front “garden” is a tiny, gravelled space which needs new garden furniture.
There were lots of kitchen knives but all were pretty blunt.

It was clean with good amount of equipment to be able to make it home from home
Upstairs was very cold in the back bedroom and the bedroom with bunk beds. These radiators were not working.
