I wouldn’t stay again

The bar and restaurant were excellent, staff were efficient and friendly

The room was very old dated and clean to a standard not of my own. The sliding doors were tough to open, the blinds were missing a few which let the light in. Windows were also full of hand prints. We also all had to share a double bed (1 adult 2 children) as the single bed had bugs in them when the covers were pulled back. We were only staying the one night so just got it out the way

Me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Didn’t spend a lot of time in the room as we were out exploring each day.

Good location in the centre and overlooking the river. Good having a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel. Room good size with fridge, kettle and toaster. Room dated and could do with upgrading a little, but other than that it was clean and tidy.

Stayed for 3 nights and room wasn’t cleaned/new towels/toilet roll top up. I may have missed communication about this on the website and it was Easter weekend so could be limited service or something.

View from room, only!

Restaurant a bit overwhelmed, tables were not really cleaned and food not hot. In the morning, housekeeping knocked very intrusively and several times (between 08:00 a.m. and 09:30 a.m.) on the door. Departure time is 10:00 p.m.!!!!!!!!

Suitable for a short stay. Average

Close to restaurants and IGA.

One small heater was not enough. Rooms with sea view actually did not have it. Could barely see it far away from the room.

The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable. The shower had low water pressure and hard to adjust hot and cold.

Old, run down rooms. Room wasn't clean Windows were fithy. Difficult to lock the room.

The view but needs some love

The view, the view and the view. Nice and close to everything

Cottages need a makeover. Only thing that spoilt our stay was the old worn out feel. Need new cupboard, carpet and flooring. Comfortable chairs to enjoy the view and build a deck that you can sit out on and enjoy the view

The hotel is ideally located, the rooms are clean and spacious and has a great restaurant too.
