Wonderful Stay

Great modern hotel with ample rooms and beach.

The restaurant only opens until lunch. There is no pool at the hotel. There was no one at the hotel when we were there, we were the only room occupied. Maybe the hotel should lower their daily rates to attract more clients.

Va benissimo per i meeting ma non per soggiorni in coppia.

La pulizia e la camera

La colazione non va bene, hai un piatto a disposizione incluso, non c’è nessun buffet. I vicini hanno un cane che abbaia e non lascia dormire mai!

It was very nice.

I loved the breakfast and the peacefulness. I felt perfectly safe there. We had wonderful room attendants and other service workers. The shower was perfect for my disabled husband.

I would have liked a television set.

Very nice, clean, comfortable and secured hotel. everyone was cery helpfull. i would definitely stay there again.

The staff was excellent and property was a mile away from the Malecon.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Lovely, unexpected jem!

The location of Marea La Paz is well off the beaten path, but so worth it. It's out of the hustle of La Paz proper and within walking distance to an excellent local restaurant that we enjoyed several times. The grounds are lovely. Artistic, inviting, very well-maintained and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing; the selections were wonderful and all of the staff were friendly and very professional. We thought the value was very good for such a lovely little gem of a hotel.

It was a perfect hotel to stay on our way south. The parking was secured which we wanted, having a car full of “stuff.”

The room was beautiful and we enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Great place to stay, would stay again.

Very comfortable and spacious rooms, great shared space with kitchen available to guests. Located close to the sea, allowing some nice views. The staff was great and very helpful.

Perfect boutique hotel

Perfect little gem, right on the water with a cute beach. Staff were amazing and went out of their way to arrange tours and dinners for us. Daily breakfast included at on site restaurant. Laundry on site. Large closets. Daily cleaning service. Huge open stocked kitchen on the 3rd floor, dining and hanging out area where birdwatching can become mesmerizing. L'occitane soaps and gourmet coffee in room. Can't say enough about this boutique hotel.

Very cool facility, the more you look the more you see as to the details. we

We were at the glamping area. we were the only ones out there so we had the facilities to ourselves and even the beach felt as if it were just for us.

the only things I can say is it’s a little bit off the Malecon. This made it a little inconvenient to go out at night.

Great location with great facilities!

Nice room in the building with balcony and easy to get into town by bikes..Breakfast is excellent and the staff is very friendly. The beach is ok to have a sit but not the best to go swimming..

The hotel hosted a wedding reception one night of our stay, which meant loud music until 01:00. another two nights neighbours played loud music for most of the night. heaps of space but strangely no swimming pool.

Loved our stay at Marea! Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Marea! Our room on the third floor was lovely and spacious, we especially enjoyed the large balcony. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The staff was incredible- so friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was delicious and we actually loved the location, set away from the busy malecon but easily within walking distance along the bike path. We felt super safe the entire week, even walking home at night. We would definitely stay here again!

Our only complaint would be that the pillows were a bit uncomfortable and the dog next door barked a lot during the night. But those were both not a big deal!

Atypical stay in one of Marea's tent, calm and relaxing. Great private beach and staff

Great atypical hotel with a private beach, can walk or bike to the city center. Lovely staff and nice restaurant

Gets loud some nights due to other events happening at the hotel. No way to close or lock the tent but all was safe in the end. I underestimated how cold it gets at night!

A beautiful classy resort vibe at an affordable price, especially if you don't need a place to swim.

The suite was beautiful, spacious and clean, with a beautiful view. The rooftop shared lounge and kitchen were a beautiful touch. This is a beautiful place in La Paz, relatively quiet, and right on the bay. I loved the chili relleno in the restaurant, as well as the omelettes. The staff were eager to help. This is not a cabo resort where everyone speaks english, so it gave me a good chance to practice my Spanish.

The restaurant did some things really well, and some dishes showed up dry or cold. I think perhaps the first night they were just understaffed. This is an event center, so best expect noise from weddings and parties to go to midnight or so at least. These were happy noises, and didn't bother me a lot, but I would let friends know that before they book. There is no pool here, and the bay is not really clean enough to swim, with all the marina activity.
