close to the beach and sea
the sea view
the size of the apartament
cleaning every day
The main reason why we didn't like it and also the reason because we left 2 days earlier that the end of the stay.
From 9 o'clock in the evening until 1 o'clock at night it was a lot of noise in the apartment. The noise came from the performance stage of the hotel and also from a club located on the beach. The noise was so loud that we couldn't sleep, and my son of 1-year-old was waking up every hour.
The food was varied but the same every day, just 2 or 3 changes
Most of the guests were over 50 years old

I liked the customer centricity of the hotel staff - really trying to create a superior travel experience. Furthermore the room was very spacious.
The very limited parking places available is a negative point for this hotel. Also, the main restaurant is very crowded, with tables so close to eachother and with not enough islands of food and drinks. Stresfull experience to eat due to the the size of the room.

Very nice
everything was OK

We enjoyed everything. The food was amazing. The indoor pool had the water a bit too cold.

The employees were very friendly and professional.
We were impressed by the Bulgarian a la carte restaurant. The dishes were delicious, we consider to be a must try.
Bathroom would need some tlc.

Location
Dirty plates, food not cooked enough, cheapest fruits/vegetables they could find, old cookies (macarons hard as a rock), awful drinks and as for the parking, they charge you more than specified here by previous tourists, and they don't return all the change. When I complained at the front desk, they said they have no control.

Food was delicious
Cleaning was not so good
Staff dont speak english
We wanted to book japanese restaurant and a girl from reservation said that its fool but there were 3 couples

We where a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids 11 and 6). The apt we had (202) was very confy, the view was great. The food was very good, many sortiments, I have nothing to complain about. Parking was 20 lv per night in an underground parking 2 min away from the property. The beach is also great, few minutes away, just some stairs and cross a road and you re there.
A very big plus was the multinational (french, romanian, bulgarian, etc…) animation team. Selim and his team did a great job keeping the guests entertained. Special regards to Robert (Ro) and Jan (Fr), nice meeting you guys and we ve had a lot of fun playing games, water polo, dancing …together. Also, a very big plus for the Yoga instructor, Teo.
Even if I an not so thrilled about Golden Sands, I would consider revisiting this property in the future.
Activities and bar on the beach included also in the whole pack would have been great even if the price would have been a little higher.

Close to the center of the resort. The food was good and varied.
1. I didn’t like a lot of things. Starting with the begining of the holiday. I have arrived with my family at Grifid Arabella Reception Hotel at 10 am and the receptioner told me that I could benefit from an early booking by paying about 40 leva. I agreed and I’ve been told that the room will be ready at 12 o’clock with this benefit. Although I’ve been tod this, the room was ready for us at 02:30 pm, that is 30 minutes later than the regular check-in at the hotel. At that time I understood that the room was not ready and did not expect for explications. I have to tell you that after that no one asked me to pay for the early booking benefit as it didn’t exist. So when I went for check-out, the tall young lady feom the fron desk of the reception told me that I have to pay for the early booking benefit although it didn’t exist. First I refused to pay, explaining that this isn’t correct and they are fooling people, but she insisted to pay, so I did pay later. It wasn’t about the money for me, it was avout the principle of being fooled by the Grifid Arabella Hotel for a service which I didn’t benefit for.
2. Another issue is that I asked for an ‘a la carte’ dinner and I didn’t receive one although it was included into the package of the holiday. Their explication was that there isn’t any spare table for me and my family.
3. The interior pool at his hotel was dirty, the water was field with hair and other things that I could not describe…I didn’t believe that this is possible at a Grifid Hotel.
4. The Grifid Arabella beach which is situated close to the center of the resort is very unsecure. I have been stolen some towels from there. I heard that there was a fight on this beach and a man was brutally beaten. When he filled a complain on the personnel of the hotel, telling that the men who beat him were staying at the same hotel, they told him that they can’t help him, although everything happened on the hotel beach.

I really liked the friendly and helpful attitude of the employees, I liked that it was very clean and the food was good and varied
The thing that I didn't like, but which has nothing to do with the hotel or the employees, was that people put more food on their plates than they could eat and there was a lot of waste

It is the second time we stay at this hotel and overall we had a great holiday. Indeed, if we compare to 2018, the standard seems to be a bit lower (but given the harsh period caused by the pandemic I assume it is understandable). We were happy to meet the same friendly staff again, especially the people welcoming guests at the restaurant. The check-in was fast and friendly, we were lucky to be offered a parking spot in front of the entrance. Room was very clean and big. Food was tasty and varied enough (but less varied or interesting compared to the 2018 experience). Wifi and A/C very good, TV channels for all tastes. Pool and beach were clean and we managed to find sunbeds at the beach every day (generally at 9-10 AM and 4 PM). Animation was varied and fun for the kids (mini disco, circus, ballet), although it would be nice to be a little more interactive (the crab mascot was only present once and for a brief moment).
- Unfortunately during the last 2 days the restaurant and the elevators became a bit too crowded. At times it seemed that the restaurant staff was overwhelmed and some items were missing (plates, glasses, bread, desserts) - but I consider that this was not the hotel's fault but rather some of the guests', as they were obviously taking more food than they could eat...
- Sometimes the drinks were obviously diluted with water
- Maybe a beach bar and some animation for the kids at the beach would be nice. I wouldn't mind paying for a good coffee, cold beer or an icecream at the beach...
- The staff at the miniclub was a bit bored and not in the mood to interact with the kids but luckily there were enough toys there to play with
- It would be nice for the kids to have more interactive moments with the crab mascot (maybe at breakfast or anytime during the day)
- Unfortunately the kid got sick during the last night with a bad gut infection (throwing up, fever, diarheea), making our way back home a nightmare and adding an unpleasant end to the holiday - so I believe some attention should be given to the disinfection of the common spaces, especially the restaurant (with professional medical-grade solutions). Also, given the Covid situation, I would have expected to find disinfectant dispensers at the elevators, common bathrooms, inside the restaurant.
- Two of our car's hubcaps were stolen, but we don't have a proof that it happened in the hotel's parking as we only noticed at the gas station (we didn't go anywhere else with the car during our stay so we guess it happened there). Maybe the staff can check the surveillance cameras...

nice clean room found on first day. lots of possibilities to spend the time.
no disinfection in common spaces - came back home with stomach virus, laid in bed for multiple days. the child took the virus there and threw up the last night we were there.
the daily cleaning was very vague - changing of towels and taking trash.
in Restaurants, tables are very close together. waiters only changed the tablecloth before seating you, no disinfection or cleaning.

Location and stuff was great
and quiet at the pool

Pozitia fata de plaja ok
They force me to park the car far from the hotel. Was available parking in the front of hotel. The statf from parking was unfrendly and rude. I will never come back again. I have another booking in september but i will cancel it and i will find another hotel. I paid for ultra all inclusive and the food was extremly less.

the food is really good, the staff is kind and the hotel is really nice overall

I liked the entertainment programs. I liked the staff and the food. I liked the pools and the gym fit-zone.
I was impressed to receive a birthday card at the right time as I celebrated my birthday on this vacation.
I wish they had the TV set opened to switch to other system language, not only Bulgarian. It was almost impossible to watch a movie on a memory stick because I couldn't change the sound settings.

The room was very ok for 2 adults and 2 little children
It’s not close to the beach as they say. Their privat beach has too few sunbeds, people are fight over them because some people throw a towel on them at 5-6am then live and come back after breakfast. There is a rule that it seems nobody respects- you can reserve a sunbed for 30min max, but the hotel doesn’t interfere if there’s a conflict. Same thing happens at the pool. I was offered a place at a back swimming pool with no kids area and where the sun stayed a few hours or to go by bus at another beach where the entrace in the water was dangerous for the kids.
Also, there’s no beach bar, and again, the beach is not exactly next to the hotel

Nice rooms and swimming pools.
Food and drinks are okay.
Very nice view from the room.
Parking is not at the hotel.
The private beach is far from the hotel and has not enough chairs. For the beach across the street you have to pay even thou is called Arabella. It should not be advertised with private beach.
You have to wait a lot for an Elevator, if you are not located at the last floor or second last most likely will be every time full so you have to use the stairs which is harder with small kids. I had a room on 5th floor.
The Aquapark is not located at Arabella is at another Grifid the same as the private beach 🙂.

Everything was great, the room was very spacious and had a balcony where we could spend some time in the evening . The place is very quiet, the program for hotel’s guests end at 11PM and after that, everyone can enjoy silence and a good comforting sleep.
The food was very diverse and tasty.

The room was pretty big and clean
Staff was unprofessional, very rude, the food was bad, old,it says ultra all inclusive but still had to pay for the lawn chairs on the beach….One of the worst places I’ve ever been to…I regret choosing this hotel
