Delicious breakfast - fresh croissants, bread, yoghurt, fruit compote, chocolate spread, fresh coffee, egg and cheese for those who wished. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is central yet very quiet. The location is a 2 minute walk from the nearest tram stop and the main tourist attractions are within immediate reach. There are restaurants in the immediate vicinity for which I recommend you book in advance. The main shopping areas are also within a few minutes walk. The staff were friendly, very helpful and welcoming. There was a range of magazines/reading material located on the landing also.
The charge for breakfast (7.50 euro) is not included in the booking fee but this is clearly explained on the Booking.com website in advance. I would like to have seen some fresh fruit on two of the three mornings I had stayed there. The lamps are a little dim in the room so difficult to read but overall I cannot fault this property. I would highly recommend Hotel le Cambronne should you visit Nantes.

Location is 10/10. Walking distance to airport bus stop and the old town. Safe but lively neighbourhood. I arrived at night and it was self checkin. Very handy. Room is not big but ok for one person. Toilet and shower room clean and separate. Can leave my bag after checkout the next day.
Nothing.

Location is really good, a short walk to the city centre and Ile de Nantes, and the tram stop is basically right at the hotel if you do not want to walk from the train station (approx. 20 minutes, by tram it is 10). Airport transfer bus drops you off 15 minutes from the hotel, now that Place de Commerce is under construction. So it is quite easy to reach everything. The hotel is in a really quiet small street, so it is great base for sightseeing. Breakfast is a big portion, your typical French breakfast with croissants, bagette, jam, joghurt, juice, tea/coffee, etc. Staff is friendly and they store your luggage after checking out.
The room could use brighter lamps, the room is a bit dim in the evenings, therefore not very good for reading. Also, there is no air conditioner, which was not an issue for me, as the weather - fortunately - was not that hot at the time, but it might be for others. There is no net against mosquitoes on the windows, which makes it a bit difficult to let in some fresh air in the evenings. Also, be advised that there is only one big cover for the double bed, not two, so if you are with company and you prefer your own blanket, this might not be the room for you. During our correspondence with the host before my arrival, they kept answering my messages in French, I am still puzzled, why, since in person they could answer my questions in English. I do not speak French at all, so my only help was Google translate.

Very central location and the hotelier was very helpful
It would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. It was very hot at the time of our stay in Nantes and there was no air conditioning in the room

The hotel is in a very quiet back street in what is otherwise a very noisy, bustling area of the city. Accommodation in Nantes is expensive, so I guess this was not a bad price, but it did not compare in terms of value with other towns we visited.
The location is quite a way from the station and from the more interseting bits of the City if you are on foot. In retrospect we should have realised how large Nantes is, and used the tram to get about. There are currently a lot of roadworks on the pavements and roads between the station and this hotel, which does not help.

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast with fresh fruit, egg, cheese, croissant, yoghurt etc. Nice rooms and a boutique hotel feel at a very good price. Loved it.

Very nice welcome and able to tell us where we could park our tall car! The bed was comfy and the shower was good. We had breakfast at 7am and it was a good one for France! Good croissants and crusty bread, hard boiled egg, baby bell cheese, yoghurts, and a bowl of fresh fruits. Strong breakfast coffee and a huge selection of teas. We will be back.
Climbing to the fourth floor!
