We were given a lovely welcome. The studio was clean and tidy, very comfortable and we had homemade biscuits , marmalade and jam given to us which were delicious, thank you.

The Silverdale guest studio is one of the nicest such properties we have ever stayed in. Selwin and Dellis were gracious hosts and attentive to our every request. The grounds of their home, and thus of the studio lodging, are spectacularly landscaped and enormously appealing. A small lake, a nearby river, fruit trees, a boardwalk through jungle plants, numerous birds--all create an atmosphere that is quiet, relaxing, and soothing to the traveler's tired spirit. This is a top-notch place to spend a stopover night, and indeed, we could have stayed longer to enjoy the ambience. The owners are quality people, with a quality lodging. We could not recommend it more highly.
Nothing!!

The beautiful property with the Swans was gorgeous. And having free parking and breakfast was so handy.
The bedroom was a bit tight and the sun room would have been great to have the option of covering the table and chairs up so you could get some shade from the sun while in the sun room as it became like a hot box. It was melting but it's gorgeous to sit in, first thing in the morning.

This is a retreat within a retreat, having breakfast (supplied) in the conservatory, looking out on a fabulous garden was a highlight for us of our stay. Great things come in small packages, thoroughly enjoyed the hosts attention to detail.
