About this house rental
Welcome to your private oasis! We are Red Daisy Farm! We are a flower farm, BnB and Event space located in the quaint farming town of Brighton, CO. We are centrally located - 20 minutes from DIA and downtown Denver, 35 minutes from Boulder and about an hour to the closest ski resort!
Enjoy an entire house with all of the luxuries and amenities of your own home! Enjoy a cup of Joe or an afternoon cocktail next to the all natural, rock-rimmed swimming pool! Take a stroll through the flower fields, or take a lounge on a floatie on the all-natural swimming pool. RDF is a great location for your quaint wedding, girls weekend away, couples retreat or a relaxing family vacation!
We offer an entire, private home for your comfort! It's a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath, full kitchen, large living room and full laundry room! There's a private patio equipped with a BBQ grill and comfy seating!
We are a friendly family of five and are always happy to meet new guests and make new friends. We live and work here at the farm, yet there is plenty of privacy here, just let us know how we can make your stay any more pleasurable! *All outdoor areas are common areas - you will likely see other humans while on our property!*. We have one other accommodation on our property, which is a set of silos we turned into a quaint place to stay - it only sleeps a max of 2 guests. Please find that listing on A i R B n B if you need more accommodations than just this guest house. We do take one hour reservations for the hot tub, so you can enjoy it privately! The pool is common area and no reservations are needed.
We look forward to hosting you! ***Please Note: If you are looking for a totally private space, please look for another location! Please ask all questions BEFORE you reserve with us. Thank You!*** ***Please Note: YOU MUST READ THIS BEFORE YOU AGREE TO BOOK WITH US:
All outdoor areas are common areas. The pool and hot tub are shared only by one other set of guests (if the silos are booked - which only accommodates 2 other people!), and my family of five, which we rarely use when our guests are using! As a courtesy (for those guests who enjoy some privacy), we are taking one hour reservations for the hot tub - therefore, you will NOT share it with other people during your reserved time. The pool is open from mid May to mid October (depending on the weather). No reservations are taken to use the pool and you may see other guests!
The all natural swimming pool/pond is just that: all natural! It is a European concept, meaning that there are NO chemicals used in the pond. It is rock-rimmed, meaning absolutely NO diving. It has beautiful koi fish and a few friendly turtles that swim away from you when you are swimming in it. If you want a conventional, chlorine-filled pool, this is not the place for you.
***If you need or want a totally private space, please also consider another location!!!
Also, I should mention (since one guest complained about not seeing any flowers) - we are a seasonal flower farm, meaning we grow flowers within the natural growing season. We usually (depending on the weather) have flowers blooming from the end of May through mid to end of September.
We do our best to offer our guests a beautiful, clean, relaxing place to stay. Is it “perfect”, no, it’s not. Are you or I “perfect”, no, we’re not. So if you are expecting every-little-thing to be PERFECT, please do not chose our place to stay. We are humbly gracious, not even close to perfect, yet very giving and kind hosts. We hope you’ll appreciate what we have to offer and all the hard work we put in here to be able to share our little piece of heaven-on-earth with you.
Thank you!

Beautiful cottage, grounds and hosts! Natural pond was awesome. We spent many hours at the gazebo at the pond and enjoyed the hot tub. Hosts were phenomenal and gave us tips on good places to go. All were spot on! Cottage was well decorated and had everything you could need plus more! Will definitely be going back.

We will definitely try and stay at the Red Daisy Farm again. The home is so comfortable and beautiful. The natural pool and surroundings are peaceful and the kids had a blast. Owners are very respectful and friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We've stayed at many VRBO properties throughout the years, and this was one of the most pleasantly unique. The landscape and views were absolutely beautiful, and the owners were fabulous and super accommodating. The house itself was private and extremely comfortable for our family of 4. The hot tub and natural pool exceeded our expectations. We felt completely removed from the chaos of the city, even though we were only 25 minutes from downtown Denver. We highly recommend this property!

We had an awesome time in Colorado and our rental home played a big role! Terry and Meg were amazing hosts! We were greeted and given a tour of the home and property when we arrived. They were prompt with communication and very helpful with any questions. They had some good recommendations for restaurants and tips for parking in busy areas. The rental property itself was beautiful! Flowers planted throughout the property and the natural pond area has a really cool setup! Just a wonderful spot to unwind and relax! Thank you for a great stay!

We’d crammed a lot of driving and sightseeing into our trip prior to our arrival. This was the perfect spot to relax and reset. Wonderful property with kind, thoughtful hosts. Zero complaints.

Private Oasis is the perfect description! We enjoyed our stay at the quiet Red Daisy Farm very much. The house was exactly what we needed, for 5 best friends. Beds were so comfortable! We loved the outdoor area by the pool and hot tub.
We met Meg, Terry and family. They are very friendly and helpful!
We enjoyed talking with Terry every day. Had great day trips to Red Rocks, Boulder, Rocky Mountain national park and Estes park.
One issue with the property:
Providing very limited supplies....
1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 trash can liner, 1dishwasher pod, etc. We are a group of 5 women, staying for 7 nights. Most VRBO rentals, supply enough necessities for their renters.

The cottage was clean, cute and had everything we needed for our family getaway. The pond was a wonderful swimming option for our kids and for us to relax next to. We would definitely recommend for anyone looking to relax and needing a place to stay 20-25 min from downtown Denver.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It's peaceful and secluded, but still only a short drive from downtown Denver. The house is not overly luxurious, but it's clean and very well stocked with anything we could think of, and the beautiful pond and hot tub were very special. Most of all, the hosts were amazing - they were friendly without being intrusive, responded immediately if we reached out with questions or requests, and seemed really invested in making our stay as comfortable as possible. We highly recommend this property.

We went to Colorado to visit our adult kids, and our new granddaughter. We selected this property because it was only 7 miles from them, but we will absolutely be back! The house we stayed in was so nice. TWO full size couches for us to stretch out on after a long day. I mention that because too many properties often have sleeping quarters for 10, but have one small couch and a chair to seat those 10. Lol! Wonderfully set up space. Super comfortable beds. Everything about the house was wonderful, and it has all the essentials you could need. And Meg and Terry are just the nicest people. Very welcoming and accommodating, and Terry even ran over early in the morning to sweep some snow off our steps. This will be our spot from now on when we visit the kids and our granddaughter. Unless we come with our dog. No pets allowed (sad face). ALSO, when you do stay here, be sure to sit out front at night. The stars and the city lights in the distance are magical. You will not be disappointed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Red Daisy Farm! Firstly, the property is stunning, and the views are breathtaking! Secondly, the hosts are awesome - Meg and Terry made us feel so welcome! They were around if we needed anything, but we still very much had our privacy. We were obsessed with the all natural swimming pool and hot tub. The house was beautiful, and the beds were nice and cozy. Overall, we would recommend RDF to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. We didn’t want to leave!!!

The house was absolutely adorable and we had plenty of space for our family of 6. We came to the farm to celebrate our daughter’s wedding at Red Daisy and we could not have asked for nicer hosts. Meg, Terry, and family were so kind and accommodating. The house was equipped with all that we needed for our stay, including plenty of towels and kitchen ware. The pond and hot tub were a perfect way to end our days there. And then there were the fresh flowers!! So vibrant and beautiful. We loved our stay at the Red Daisy Flower Farm.

The owners of the VRBO were very flexible and hospitable. The house was cozy and well decorated and the kitchen was well stocked with all the amenities we needed. Having the washer and dryer was an added bonus. Grocery store options were just a few minutes away. This location was great as it split the distance between travel to Garden of the Gods and Rocky Mountain National Park which made it easy to plan trips to both locations. Loved swimming in the unique natural pool with country views behind. Floaties were provided which was a nice bonus as well. Lots of options for outdoor seating and family style dining. It was a very private location while still having city access and country views. It was perfect for our family of 5!

The definition of a conundrum is "a confusing and difficult problem or question" - for me, the conundrum is how effusive should I be about this place and the family that owns and operates this beautiful farm? I mean, if I really tell everyone how absolutely perfect this rental experience was, and how cool Meg and Terry (and their family) are, then what are the chances that word gets out and this place becomes booked every time I want to go see a concert at Red Rocks?
I guess the cat is out of the bag, so to speak. So, I might as well give up the goods.
Let's start with the cottage. Completely spacious and comfortable for our party of 5. Could have easily accommodated 6. The place is stocked, roomy and really well laid out for a group to hang out but not be too much up in each other's business.
The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful. This is a working farm, and the flowers (peonies when we were there) were beautiful. The natural pond pool is a work of art (and super fun)! The owners live on the property, but their house is away from the cottage, and never once did we feel like we didn't have privacy when we wanted it.
Not that we wanted much privacy. Our entire group fell in love with Terry and Meg. They are such cool people. I am certain if we lived closer, we'd all hang out and bbq, throw back a few beverages and become fast friends. They both work extremely hard to make sure your stay is perfect, while also managing the work of the farm.
20 stars!

It’s was amazing. Tranquil and relaxing. Great place to get away but not to far. Hospitality of the owners went above and beyond. Definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area or just needing to get away locally.

This was a great property for our girls trip to Red Rocks (which was a half hour drive away). Everything else we wanted to do was a half hour drive or less. The house was cute and clean, the pond pool/hot tub area was very nice. Meg and her family were very accommodating and so nice to work with.

Looked for a place that had all the bells and whistles to spend time with my family and celebrate our 25th anniversary and this place did not disappoint. It had everything we needed to hang out, cook, play cards, have a cocktail and relax in the natural pool. Meg and Terry were fantastic hosts (ended up hanging with them a few nights) and provided everything we needed. We were close enough to go to a Rockies game, Cheyenne Zoo, Botanical Gardens and Garden of the Gods. We went to dinner one night in Colorado Springs to a place called Guard and Grace… excellent!
The only thing I would recommend is bringing swim shoes for the natural pool if you have tender feet. It would make getting in and out a little easier.
Thanks Terry and Meg!

Charming fabulous property
We absolutely loved the beautiful grounds, huge natural pool, spa to enjoy. The home was clean, decorated beautifully and had everything we needed for our stay. Meg and Terry and their family are wonderful, warm people. They made us feel so welcome. We will definitely go back when we visit Denver again!

Did not end up staying
Stayed an hour or two at most and ended up leaving for several reasons.
First and foremost; the property had an issue with moths. I can tolerate on or two moths as we are from the country too but as soon as we came back to the property from visiting family, they were everywhere in the rental. Being as it was 12:30 in the morning, I was trying to be courteous and not wake the host (who is on site) so I called the rental company directly to notify them that we would not be staying here. I have a 7-month-old and while I know moths cannot hurt you, I was not comfortable having them all over our things, the baby's things or, god forbid, one landing on her and she put it in her mouth. It's no different than any other pest problem in my eyes. We took pictures/ video, sent it to the rental company and left in the middle of the night.
The next day (after we stayed at a family members nearby) the host contacted me and was very upset that I contacted the rental property directly and did not discuss the problem with her. I explained to her (as respectfully as I possibly could) that we cannot stay there with bugs in the house. The host was unprofessional and did not receive the criticism well. She was hostile in her response and completely downplaying the issue. She stated that, "It's moth season and you'll get them anywhere you go out here" (untrue, because we stayed with a family member 20 minutes away who lives in the same environment and they did not have this issue whatsoever).
That was the first issue.
In addition to the rental having a pest problem, the posting for the rental leads you to believe you're renting a farm house as that is the only picture of a house in the listing when you are ,in fact, renting a double wide from the late 80's. Had I known this, I would have moved on to something else as this was way too much money to pay to be staying in a modular. The listing is misleading and the behavior of the host was just the cherry on top to a very disappointing experience.
I advise anyone who is contemplating renting here to read the fine print and ask questions before moving forward. Hopefully you're stay will be better than our 2 hours stay and I do hope that the host will try to work on taking criticism better.

Terry & Meg are amazing! So hospitable and welcoming from the time we arrived to the time we departed. The kids enjoyed the natural swimming pool so much! The house is extremely homey and we will certainly be returning.

Nothing short of amazing!
We had a truly wonderful time at the Red Daisy Farm. The accommodations, property, friendliness of owners, accessibility to great shopping and restaurants, and proximity to the airport all made our stay a delight. Can’t wait to return!

Cozy Colorado
We had the best time here. In the country but close to everything you would need for stay. Close to airport but not bothered by planes at all. Mountain Views to the west and spectacular sunrises.

Perfect for Us
My childhood family lives in Colorado while my children are spread throughout the world. So, when we decided to meet in Colorado first before continuing onto Montana, it was important to me to find a place close to my parents and siblings. This was the perfect place. It was central to my folks home, the place we were celebrating as an entire family, and the airport. Plus, it was absolutely beautiful and reminiscent of home. We had the geese, the mountainous views, the farm fields and the fun extras the farm offered. The owners truly made a little haven of quaint nesting spots throughout their farm. We loved all the antiques, the pond, and the hot tub. My daughter had a blast doing the polar plunge then hopping into the hot tub! The house was beautifully decorated with the touch of nostalgia. We had the place packed with Christmas decorations, presents and people arriving at different times. It worked perfectly for us. We are thankful for a great place to celebrate Christmas with my family. Thank you!

We can't say enough about our wonderful stay! Meg, Terry, and Morgan were exceptionally helpful with places to go and anything we needed. Their hospitality along with the phenomenal views and pristine cottage made this trip memorable for our family, and a place we will come back to in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great stay!
We had a great stay here with a group of girlfriends for a "girls trip." Meg and Terry were super friendly. The house is beautiful and very gracious. It was a great home-base for traveling into Denver, Boulder, hiking, and stop at the spa at the not-to-far Gaylord, and the hot-tub was a huge bonus to come "home" to. Would definitely come back!

Excellent place to get away !
We were two families and we had plenty of space. We all enjoyed our stay here. The home is very clean and all the amenities were as described. The hosts were in the adjacent home but were nonintrusive. In fact, we enjoyed talking to them when they managed to take a break from their business. They were very kind and hospitable. The grounds are quaint and inviting. And the antique barn was full of such lovely treasures. Our young adult children enjoyed the natural pool and hot tub and mentioned they really liked the tranquility. Would have loved to spend more time there, but our site seeing kept us out most of the days. Would return here again.

Wonrdeful Stay
Had an amazing stay with 5 of my closest girlfriends here. Meg couldn't of been nicer to my group of friends! Everything was clean and updated. Meg was always super responsive when we had any questions! Only a 20 minute drive to downtown Denver. The pool was a great plus up experience for us too! Would recommend to anyone!

Best. Day. Ever.
We rented out this unit for our wedding. Meg and her family were absolutely delightful and incredibly laid back and accommodating. Actually, planning with Meg was the LEAST stressful part of planning our 38 person wedding. The property was gorgeous and clean, as was the lodging. Absolutely immaculate. We plan to come visit again soon!

Absolute GEM!
We had a wonderful stay at Meg and Terry's Red Daisy Farms!! Terry met us as we drove in and showed us through our space. It was very comfortable and decorated with cute touches throughout. The couches are sooo comfy! It was spacious and supplied with all of the things we'd need - dishware, soaps, condiments, etc. Also note that there is a grocery store just a mile or 2 up the road. The entire vibe of Red Daisy Farms was wonderful. Close to the city, but feels like we were in our own country world. We have kiddos with autism and this was perfect! The natural pool was warm and welcoming, my kids floated with their life jackets and sat on floaties while grandma sat on the shaded deck. We enjoyed every bit of it. It's plenty deep for adults and kids. The farm is perfect for autistic family members who need a place with less chaos and ability to be loud and excited. We asked Meg and Terry about having some additional family visit the pool during the day with us - they were very accommodating and the additional fee was exceptionally reasonable - we all had a blast and made so many memories! We will 100% be coming back next summer!

Amazing stay
So loved our time with Meg, Terry and their family. The family was so welcoming and made us feel like part of their family. The farm was beautiful and welcoming. The house was adorable! Loved the quiet country which allowed us to enjoy time together as a family. Highly recommend this property!

Couldn't Ask for More
It all starts with Family, so I'll begin there. The hosts are the most genuine and friendly people we've ever had the pleasure of being hosted by. From the minute we drove onto the property until waving our good-byes, we were made to feel as welcome as if we were one of their own. Terry, Meg, and the rest of the family and friends we were lucky enough to meet engaged in fun conversation always had a smile to offer.
The property itself is stunning. The house is comfortable, well-equipped and extremely clean. Plenty of staples in the pantry so we just had to get the food we planned on preparing and not waste money on spices, etc.
The swimming hole is truly one-of-a-kind! Clear water, pristine landscape and even Koi welcome you to jump right in. If there aren't any floaties, just ask and they'll be happy to get you some so you can relax on the water with a cold beverage of your choice while listening to the gentle waterfall.
Unbelievable mountain sunsets are visible from the patio just outside the house. There are paths that allow you to walk around the grounds and check out the numerous flowers growing and in various stages of bloom.
Please make sure to read the listing! This is a working flower farm, and, as clearly stated in the listing, you do not have the entire property to yourself. The hosts live in a separate house on the same land, but you are separated enough so you still have privacy. The was certainly not a negative for us, as we were happy to be a small part of our hosts' week. I hate to see negative reviews on such a nice place simply because people don't read.
Country feel but a short drive to downtown Denver. Stores and restaurants are just down the road, and make sure to ask the hosts for suggestions!
The next time I'm in Denver for a convention, I'm definitely ditching the hotel and will be staying at Red Daisy Farm!

Beautiful property, really nice hosts!
Our stay was great! We reserved the hot tub ahead of time whenever we wanted to use it, and laid out by the natural pool a lot. The house we stayed in was very comfortable; we have no complaints!

I definitely recommend the Private Oasis house in Brighton. Meg and Terry are wonderful hosts, the house is very clean, comfortable and decorated really cute. While you will have everything you need during your stay, please not the hot tub and swimming hole/pond are not exclusive to the rental property; they are away from the rental home and shared with the owners and guests. Not a big deal but not what I expected. The drive to Denver is very quick and we never encountered traffic during the Easter Holiday weekend. The home, property, owners, and location are perfect. You will not be disappointed with a stay here. Note, they have a Silo turned into a rental on the property as well! It is ADORABLE! The property is a flower farm so while we can in early spring I can only imagine how stunning the grounds are in other months! Thanks Meg and Terry! Liz Harvey and Family
