Excellent Location. Quiet and relaxing. Amazing views

Location is excellent. I liked the feeling of a small hotel , not overcrowded. LOOOVED that they dont blast music and its a very quiet and intimate experience.

Abaixo das expectativas

O hotel tinha uma piscina ótima e com uma vista incrível. Além disso, já disponibiliza ducha para pós surf. O serviço dos garçons na piscina era bom e a vista do quarto, tirando a parte que da também para a saída de outro quarto, tinha uma vista boa para o mar.

1) Comida: poucas opções vegetarianas; não permitia pedir comidas do café ao longo do dia; 2) Água ficava acumulada no trajeto do quarto para o restaurante (escoamento ruim); 3) Preço comida não era tão barato comparado com El tunco; 4) Quarto escuro, com luzes no banheiro muito fracas. Não havia opção para estender a roupa e rede. Além disso o quarto dava para a entrada de outro (na parte inferior). 5) A onda é incrível e, como todo local, os locais tinham a prioridade para surfar. Isso é ok. Porém, havia locais que trabalhavam no hotel e ficavam toda hora surfando as ondas dos hóspedes e demais pessoas. Alguns, inclusive, foram bem agressivos no mar.

A representation of false advertisement

Near the ocean, but no direct access to the beach. The one down the stairs from the hotel is too rocky to stay on, plus the tides take the waves all the way up to the stairs, so you don't have any access any more.

This place is the definition of false advertisement: booked an ocean view room and paid the price for that. However, as the staff were showing us the way to the room, and right before opening the door to it, they mentioned that we don't have a view anymore... Instead we had a major construction site right outside of the window... surprise surprise... Of course they didn't have any other room available for the duration of our stay, so we were forced to move to a different room for EVERY night of our stay! Imagine how stressful this is with a 5 year old kid as well!! Also, don't get fooled by them saying there is a "coffee station" included, because no one will mention that it only applies to certain types of coffees, until of course it's too late and you're forced to pay. Everything there is also extremely expensive for the quality provided. The food at the restaurant is mediocre at best, but with a price tag of a Michelin star restaurant. And the list goes on...

Great location directly on the sea perfect for surfing

Extraordinary hotel directly in El Zonte / Own access to the beach / Great complex with pool and beautiful garden overlooking the sea / Very friendly staff / Very large and uniquely equipped rooms / Perfect for a surf vacation

Rooms do not have a view of the sea / Price/value ratio is low compared to other accommodations in El Salvador / One broken porch key was charged extra, which seems very odd considering the overnight rate.

It was amazing

I went to El Salvador for the first time it was a mother daughter trip. Since we stepped foot we were greeted by staff. The location is very secured and not anyone can go in. It was a very luxurious resort, the pool was amazing. The rooms were very spacious. What made our experience the best was the staff they were very attentive at all times.

We found our stay confortable and realxing.

The staff and food were exaptational. Had some of the best food in we tasted in El Salvador during our stay there. The view from the pool was gorgeous.

The rooms don't really have a beach view unless you pay for one of the top rooms. The rooms were big and comfortable, and they appeared to have a little balcony but no outdoor furniture.

I loved every minute of it thank you Puro surf!!!

This place was worth every penny!! Me and my fiancé spent valentines at this property and it was amazing. Room was great I did had a lil problem with the room I booked but they fixed it with no problem. Breakfast is great drinks are a 10/10 staff is very friendly and made us feel so welcome. My favorite was Luis he went beyond for us he made sure everything was handle for us. I will definitely recommend this hotel to all my family and I plan to visit again. The hotel is right by the beach the view is amazing.

Exceptional

Puro Surf has become like a second home for me and my family. We make sure to visit a few times a year, and we're always mesmerized by the amazing and soothing experience. Beautiful pool and amazingly friendly staff. They now remember us so they're even friendlier, and it makes out stay feel more cozy.

I'm just disappointed I didn't stay for longer this time. I wanted to take one last dip at the pool! Incredible place and beautiful views from the surfing scene.

Beautiful water-front hotel with great service right in front of the surf! Book it!

This is one of the best hotels in El Zonte. Everyone we interacted with from Ed & Nicole at the front desk to everyone at the restaurant & pool were great and provided excellent service. The onsite, open-air restaurant is a large space and, like everything else at this property, is done very well. We tried almost everything on the menu and didn't have a bad dish! The included house breakfast has great options as well. If you're surfing in El Zonte, this hotel is a great choice as it overlooks the surf and is right on the beach! Post-surf hangs at the pool were great too. We booked the room with 2 beds and it was a nice size for 2 people with multiple surfboards. We didn't feel cramped at all. If you're looking at Puro and it fits your budget, don't hesitate! Drop in and book! Yeeeeeew!

The Best :)

What can i say :) This place is just magical. I loved everything about it. The rooms were great, the mattres really comfortable and the view was magnificant. The food was so delicious and the stuff very kind and friendly. I also took 6 days of surflessons and spend therefore s lot of time in the surf Academy which i also higly recommend. Stanley is a great teacher. Thanks for everything. Even withouth the Surfcamp - i stayed 2 nights there without- it was amazing. I highly recommend this Place :)

The pool here is amazing with one of the most beautiful views in the country. The restaurant is big and airy and I loved how fresh and healthy the options were. The included breakfast was the nicest we had in El Salvador~

Amazing ocean and surf view, and the best surf instructors.

This place is a dream! The pool is amazing, overlooking the ocean and surfers, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and the surf instructors (Stanley and Popote) were amazing! You're a short walk from the cute little town and other restaurants in El Zonte too. The community is super nice!

Would perhaps rent a car next time because it's a little difficult to get to other areas.

The servers were extremely nice. The pool and view were great. The view from the yoga room, while getting a massage was nice.
