Superb

Great villa with a large pool and lots of living and bedroom space.

Bathrooms could do with a bit of an update but were plentiful. A simple fix would be fixings above head height for shower heads.

Fantastic family holiday

We had a great stay as a family. The villa is very spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is located in a quiet residential area, just a 15/20 minute walk into the centre of Carveiro. The owners were fantastic and always on hand if we needed anything. Would recommend!

A wonderfully located and well-appointed property, highly recommend!

Plenty of space in both communal areas and bedrooms. Lots of crockery and kitchenware provided which was very handy when dining as a large group. The outside balconies and terrace area were lovely for socialising outside.

A shower fixing higher on the wall in the downstairs bathroom would be great.

Villa Miguel Magic

Matilda met us at the property a little earlier to drop our bags off, a fantastic start. She made us all feel very welcome right away. The villa was very spacious and for the 8 adults on our trip, we all felt there was plenty of space. A delivery of a large chocolate cake mid week was a lovely surprise and treat although, I cannot guarantee everyone will get one in future! A 20 min walk to the beach was no issue to us. Shops close by for supplies and plenty of restaurants. The food we had all week was fantastic, I honestly couldn't fault one meal and the service was 1st class at every location we visited. Thankyou Matilda, staff and the people of Portugal for making this a very very special trip

We loved our stay in Villa Miguel Carvoeiro and would highly reccomrnd it

The location of Villa Miguel is good and within easy walking distance of the town The villa is lovely with plenty of space The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of good quality cooking utensils crockery etc. The outdoor space is superb , with loads of seating and sun beds. The pool was great with the added bonus of a poolside WC great for little ones and two showers There was also a very good supply of towels for beside the pool The owners of the Villa (who are on site) were very pleasant and extremely welcoming.

IThe property had far too many personal breakable Knick Knacks around the villa We had three children under 5 with us and had to place things out of the way of little fingers The en-suite shower of the main bedroom needs attention It is quite grubby and dripped constantly I think a couple of sun umbrellas would be useful

Awesome holiday

The Villa is awesome, Matilde was the perfect host, she even made a chocolate cake for the children !!!. We had such a brilliant time, our grandkids never stopped smiling all week. We cannot recommend this Villa enough, it was a perfect week, we look forward to staying there again.

We had no issues at all with Villa, there was nothing we didn't like.

Thank you for two wonderful weeks

We stayed in Villa Miguel the two weeks before Easter. The owners gave us a warm welcome and were very friendly. We stayed in the villa for the first time but we have been coming to Carvoeireo since 1990 and have holidayed in different accommodations. So we can say that we have some experience. We must say that Villa Miguel is excellent. Never before have we had so much space, such a perfectly equipped kitchen and the opportunity to play table tennis, billiards or table football. If possible, we will definitely come back. Thanks a lot for two wonderful weeks.

Once the internet was down for two hours and I had to restart the router and the pool was cold. (Anyone who takes this criticism seriously should better stay at home.)

Amazing family vacation

First of all the owners were very kind and attentive. They allowed us to check out late as we had kids and late flight. It’s a beautiful traditional villa. They provide all the necessary items. Location is perfect if u rent car like we did. Lidl and Aldi 5mins drive. 10mins away from local restaurants and boneca’s cave (must see) beach is 15mins walking too. Overall nice location for if you want a quiet holiday like we did. Pictures advertised are very true. Would definitely come stay again at this villa.

As it’s June the pool was really cold for the kids. Maybe if it was heated would have been better for this time of year. But we still enjoyed the pool and very clean.

Excellent and i will definatley stay here again!

The whole villa is beautiful, very spacious, lots of kitchen equipment, fridge space, fantastic pool area, Host was lovely and friendly bought a nice bottle of wine for us.

Wasnt anything we didnt like, only thing our friends said who were sleeping upstairs is that it would be better if they had darker curtains.

Good

The pool was great with lots of stuff in the accompanying pool room (floats, water pistols, buckets & spades). The layout of the villa also worked well for our two families with one family upstairs and one family downstairs. A good location although the beach does seem like a longer than 15 min walk in the heat with young children! We got taxis down there most of the time.

Although the kitchen was well equipped, the dish washer was about to fall apart which meant washing up a lot of the time - not ideal when there were 9 of us.

house and equipment were excellent, swimming pool very good.

the walking distance to the beach was a bit more then expected.
