We booked for my bridesmaid and her family to stay here on the weekend of our wedding. This is what she had to say "it was beyond amazing. Attention to detail with every aspect - decor, entertainment for the kids, the welcome pack and the cleanliness was literally the best out of anywhere I think I've ever stayed in my life. Was sad not to have longer there". Thank you so much for making the booking stress free and giving them such a wonderful stay!

Our whole family loved the Manor Annex in Shepton Mallet. The town is quiet, but has lots of little nooks & crannies to explore. It's also incredibly central to Bath, Glastonbury, and the rest of Somerset. That's important, because driving in the area is a bit of a slow (and sometimes stressful) process.
The house is gorgeous, spacious, and has lots of modern amenities. Excellent hot water supply to the upstairs, so baths & showers were easy for our family of 5. The beds are comfortable, and the many homey touches (Netflix, DVDs, games) made it so that my kids often didn't want to leave the house & garden for our adventures in the morning. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Deceptively spacious, yet cosy and homely.
Perfect accommodation for 3 generations of our family to use as a base for a weekend; only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the house more!
Lovely welcome package of biscuits, cereals and hot drink provisions on arrival, plus a personalised message on the dining table from Annie the owner, which made us feel at home immediately.
Comfortable, clean and cosy throughout; the children were especially thrilled with the thoughtful selection of dvds, games, colouring pens and books at their disposal. Thoughtfully decorated to incorporate many quirky and traditional features, along with modern conveniences; it really was a home from home in all senses of the phrase.

A wonderful place, good location, friendly hosts, we would go back again.
Annie made us feel very welcome, she was very knowledgeable about local places and things to do of interest. Her home is well equipped with all you need for a short or long stay. Even if the weather is bad there are lots of games, books, DVD's and a marvellous TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, U Tube etc. Annie and Owen have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We would recommend it. Thank you.

Spacious character property beautifully decorated, in a great location
The Annex has been lovingly decorated. Annie and Owen have added little touches that show a lot of thought has gone into making it special. The bedrooms are spacious, the bathrooms are modern, and when you sit outside in the private, walled garden, you feel like you are in your own little Manor House. It is a great base for exploring the surrounding area: Bath, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury, Wells (one of our favourites), and from the Annex you can walk easily into Shepton Mallet.
Thank you for a lovely stay!

Charming, comfortable accomodations
We loved our stay at the Annex. Annie was very warm and welcoming, not at all intrusive. The house was quite lovely - had everything we needed. We were a family of 7, including grown children and 10 month grandchild. Our only regret was that we couldn’t have stayed longer.

Cosy and comfortable
We had a lovely short break here. It is a very comfortable and homely place to stay with everything we needed. Annie is lovely, very friendly and helpful and her two dogs are so cute. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenagers but there was enough space for all of us. The house is situated close to the town centre and shops and takeaways are within walking distance. Lots to do in the area as well. I thoroughly recommend this place and wish we could have stayed longer.

What a Gem !
I stayed in the Annex to the manor house with my Daughter and 3 grandchildren. The property is tucked away in the middle of Shepton Mallet and is a 'Gem', so roomy and comfortable , spotlessly clean and so well equipped . Annie ,the owner , is lovely and greeted us with her two adorable dogs .Nothing is too much trouble and she is so helpful . All the local shops etc are with in easy walking distance and there are lots of places of interest out and about making the property an excellent base . We all enjoyed our stay very much !

Spacious, well equipped and charming annex
Our family of five adults had a great weekend at the Annex. The space was comfortable and well equipped and large enough for us to all be together or in our own corners. We especially enjoyed sitting in the courtyard patio for our dinner while the swallows and doves called over head. We liked being able to walk in to town for the market and High Street shopping and we found Shepton Mallet to be a good central location for day trips to the south coast, Wells and Bath. Annie was friendly and helpful.
