I was a female travelling alone & put on a tent in the middle of nowhere. I booked a room not a tent. Very disappointing, the tent seemed unfinished & not ready for guests.

The breakfast came too late. We asked for it to come very early, but that request was ignored.

The wifi was very unreliable and the staff was very unresponsive in the morning. We were quite late to the airport in spite of requesting an early morning shuttle.

Excellent rapport qualité-prix pour Victoria Falls.

Excellent accueil et personnel charmant. Bons petit déjeuner et repas du soir (sans plus pour les gourmands et les gourmets). Situation calme et cadre arboré. Proximité de l'aéroport de Victoria Falls et situation stratégique au cours d'un voyage au Zimbabwe de l'ouest et du nord-ouest.

Nous avons tout apprécié. A noter l'absence de vente d'alcool sur place pour partager une bière ou un verre de vin.

The place was awesome and Natural !! the stuff and their services made me enjoy the stay and the activities they offered made me enjoy Zimbabwe.Their manager Marvel was friendly and amazing. and the activities booking Agent made it easy for us to book other activities around Victoria Falls.Botswana and Zambia. thank you iroCK Lodge looking forward to be there soon again

Very attentive to needs. Their employee Marvel is a gem and made us feel so welcomed and cared for. He was patient as we worked out some kinks at the border and went out of his way to set up activities we wanted to do. He also made sure throughout the day we were okay and didn't need anything. He is an amazing to the lodge.

Nothing we didn't like. Just to plan for your stay it is good to know they are a bit further away from town and only serve breakfast as of right now so good to know before you get there and to plan for that.

The power outages The wifi signal hardly reached my tent and therefore had to work from the reception most of the time which was inconveniencing

Since we only stayed for one night we did not really get a chance to experience the resort.

The beds are comfortable and there is air conditioning, which is a blessing.

The rooms should have a coffee/tea station for early morning. The toilets needed additional cleaning. The location sign for the resort should be more visible from both coming into the Falls and from the Falls driving out.

Not so great.

The staff were friendly.

The premises need some proper maintenance and attention. We'd initially booked a "luxury" tent, as your site reported that this was the only available option. On the first afternoon/early evening we were surprised by a snake in the tent, reported this to the staff, who promptly assisted us and moved us to an available chalet, at which we stayed for the remainder of our stay. The "upgrade" obviously came at additional cost. On the second last day, from about 16:00 to 20:00, a big front-end loader was active on the premises, which disturbed us and the other guests. The solar water heater on our chalets roof was constantly overflowing, and staff paid no attention to this during our entire stay. We had the impression that the place is owned by an absentee owner who does not really care how his local staff run and "maintain" the lodge.

Great potential but to deal with basic necessities like power and wifi availability.

The rooms were clean. The guy who received us was very helpful. The facilities have great potential.

Wifi was down. There was no electricity in the evening and during the night coz of power cuts. Unfortunately there was no alternative lighting for the rooms even solar lanterns or candles so we resorted to using phones.

The Manager of the facility, Marvel has superb human relations skills. He looks out for what will give guests enjoyable stay without being intrusive. The other members of staff were equally superb. They did their jobs exceptionally. The lodge provides breakfast and organised transportation as part of the bargain. I love the coolness of the rooms and the pastoral setting. This guarantees peace away from the hurly-burly associated with city live.

The WiFi should be worked upon. Though it worked substantially well, it failed on occasions. I believe it may work to the advantage of the lodge to have an in-house restaurant that could serve lunch and dinner for the lodgers, even if at a cost.

Memorably Pleasant in Every Way!

We visited in December with a large family of 13. The staff at Irock were incredibly helpful. Samu in particular is a fantastic manager! She was very helpful, especially when our transportation from Harare to Vic Falls was in limbo. She stepped in as soon as I informed her and in no time she had organized a whole bus to pick us up from Harare. She stayed in touch weeks before our arrival, making sure all or our planning was going smoothly. She took care of all our tours, let us stay a couple more hours after check out while we were waiting for our bus and was over all the most Pleasant personality to work with. The lodge also provides free shuttle services to town and back. Being that the location is about 10minutes away from the town/vic falls, it was such a very helpful service! The grounds are peacefully out of the bustle of a city center, at the same time, the shuttle gave access wherever we needed. My reviews are not usually this long, but our stay in Irock was such a memorable one! We would go back to Irock in a heartbeat. Thanks, Samu and team!
