Toller Aufenthalt - tolle Strände - was will man mehr!

Eckzimmer mit Sicht nach Norden und Osten, die Aussicht war einfach phänomenal. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und unsere Wünsche wurden erfüllt.

Das Haus ist ziemlich ringhörig und die Wasserleitungen unüberhörbar. Da aber noch wenig Gäste da waren, hat uns das weiter nicht gestört. Da die Saison erst in einer Woche eröffnet wurde, war das Restaurant noch im Umbau und der Eindruck wurde durch Baustellenabsperrungen etwas beeinträchtigt. Es wurde allerdings auf die Gäste Rücksicht genommen wo immer es ging.

Great stay given views and location, could improve wifi.

The amazing view from the room and location to access multiple beaches was amazing.

The wifi did not work, which was needed for me. Smoking was prevalent everywhere and drifted in. Parking can be arduous, so be prepared!

Great location and hotel with quick easy access to the ports.

Ideal location if you’re travelling back to the uk via Bilbao or Santander. Parking for our motorcycle right outside, private parking. Fantastic beach and some nice restaurants nearby.

The main restaurant is a little pricey but looks pretty good, we ate at Pieces next door.

A relaxing stay out of the main season so was easy to visit many attractive places in Isla &nearby.

The location and view from the room was superb. The breakfast was good.

Dinner start time of 20.30 was too late.

This hotel is located in a prime spot with an incredible beach front view and very cyclist-friendly with storage space for bikes.

No coffee in room but a minor detail as there is a great Cafeteria in the hotel!

Great hotel but poor breakfast

Repeat visit. Great hotel in a fantastic location. Clean and comfortable room. Sea views all round. Fantastic restaurant for evening meal.

Breakfast is very, very disappointing. Meagre selection of 4 or 5 cakes/pastries and toast. No yoghurt, no fruit, no jamon, no cheese. Seriously lets down my opinion of this hotel.

lovely room in a comfortable hotel along a built up but lovely piece of coastline.

lovely room, beautiful sea view, great bathroom and very comfortable bed.

The reception staff weren’t particularly friendly although dining room staff were nicer.

Great place to stay near Santander

View was exceptional, lovely views from all directions, room had balcony with 2 loungers, lovely bathroom. Staff spoke English. Car parking right outside.

Not a lot to do there in the evenings for a longer stay, but great for one night.

We have had a fabulous stay at the hotel Astuy and would definitely recommend the hotel to families.

We loved the view from our room. The room was a good size for a family of 4 and the interior of the bathroom was fab! we felt like we were in a a nightclub! The hotel was lovely and clean and in an amazing location. The staff were also very helpful and provided us with a secure area to lock away the bikes that we had brought with us.

It would have been nice if the main bar and restaurant served food all day rather than just a specific times.

Superb

The most stunning view from a hotel we've ever had! We were in room 117 which is the first one above the dining room extension. The black out blinds were very effective. Location couldn't be better. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.

The breakfast was expensive so we ate breakfast in the bar. The tomato and oil were all overpackaged, no longer fresh. Bit noisy but all settled down around midnight so all good.

amazing hotel and restaurant

amazing room and view of the sea wonderful restaurant and staff we have stayed in other hotels locally but this was so much better

A Surprising Gem

What a great location and we were given a room 202 with the best view on to the sea.

Would be nice to have a more varied European type buffet at breakfast. Tea and coffee in room would also be nice.

Excellent location

The hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. The location couldn’t be better if you are looking for a place overlooking the sea with a sparkling swimming pool. Underground parking for a reasonable fee. Plenty of places to eat out at close by.

Good

The hotel is located right on the beach, and the town (even in May) is pretty lively. The young lady who served us breakfast was very, very sweet and helpful. The bed and shower were comfortable, and the room was spacious and had a small fridge and a balcony.

There was a wedding and they hadn't advised us - which meant the whole afternoon until about midnight there was loud music playing throughout the building. There is no air conditioning in the rooms. Staff (apart from the breakfast lady) could not be bothered to provide any customer service. No explanation about breakfast, no upgrade options provided, had to repeatedly ask for things that weren't explained (gym, pool, cost of breakfast, menu for the restaurant, payment, parking). I think with some more attentive service, this place could be much much better.
